CSI: NY Spoilers for Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Minnillo Episode

22 November 2009 2:27 PM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

On December 16, Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Minnillo will guest star on an episode of CSI: NY. Calls to CBS, asking what the heck the network is thinking, were left unanswered.

But Minnillo was glad to speak to E! News about the storyline that brings her character on board.

"Gary Sinise, Melina Kanakaredes and Eddie Cahill are figuring out this murder mystery and me, Kim and Lala Vasquez all have some sort of play in this murder," she said. "I can't tell you why, but this is the day we confront each other and everything goes crazy."

Added Train singer, Monahan:

"I play Kim's boyfriend, a musician named Sam Baker, who...  failed miserably and ended up homeless. Kim helps me get a second chance, but she has an ulterior motive."

Might it be to earn attention with her breasts? If so, we finally understand why Kardashian was cast in the role. »

James Van Der Beek At The Verge Of Divorce

20 November 2009 8:37 AM, PST | Gossipvita | See recent Gossipvita news »

The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star split from actress Heather McComb earlier this year and has now started legal proceedings to officially end their six-year marriage. The papers were filed at a Los Angeles court and James cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their break-up. The pair tied the knot in Malibu in 2003, six months after the sixth and final season of 'Dawson's Creek' aired. James’ co-stars Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips attended the intimate ceremony. Friends suspected a divorce was brewing when the couple sold their $2.5 million home in Studio City, California, in March. They put the mansion - which features 180-degree canyon, mountain and city views, and a luxurious mist cooling system - on the market. Since they tied the knot, James - who played Dawson Leery in the Us teen drama - has guest starred in 'How I Met Your Mother', 'One Tree Hill', »

Ratings Continue To Climb For NBC’S “Mercy”

19 November 2009 3:38 PM, PST | Studio Briefing - TV News | See recent Studio Briefing - TV News news »

NBC's hospital drama Mercy continued its impressive ratings rise Wednesday night as it averaged 7.8 million viewers and placed first in the 8:00 p.m. hour. One of the worst-reviewed new shows, Mercy has managed to pick up viewers steadily from the beginning of the season, when it tied for fourth place in its debut -- drawing fewer viewers than the failed Knight Rider, which preceded it last season. NBC also drew decent ratings for Law & Order: Svu, which followed at 9:00 p.m., but the 8.4 million viewers who tuned in represented a 30 percent drop from last season when it aired on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. And the show that forced it to move, The Jay Leno Show, at 10:00 p.m. continued to draw anemic ratings, attracting only 4.8 million viewers. By contrast, Robin Roberts's interview with Janet Jackson in the same hour drew 6.6 million viewers, and CBS's CSI: NY »
