Goddammit, when I heard about the pilot, I really wanted to like this show, simply because of the two lead actors, Mark Feuerstein and Paul Costanzo. I heard that they were playing brothers and I thought to myself, "Hey, that really works!", and then I saw the damn pilot. Despite some good and funny performances, there just is not enough going on in this show for me to care. Basically, the show is about an ER doctor who has been "burned" as it was, and is now being forced against his will to help people in need. OH, I did I mention that he's being forced to do so in the Hamptons? This show is simply nothing more than Dr. Burn Notice. From the handsome and chipper 30 something protagonist, to the beginning voice over at the start of each episode, to the MacGuyver-style situations to the idiotic and irresponsible younger brother who is constantly jamming up the main character, everything in this show mirrors Burn Notice. They even try to do some of the creative camera work, but camera shots/tricks that work in Miami don't work so much in the Hamptons. Did I mention that its hard to give a crap about a doctor who goes around servicing the super-ultimately rich? This show had potential, they just tried copy-cat too much from BN, rather than going in their own direction.
