Kailyn Lowry might just walk out of counseling on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.
The MTV star threatened to leave the program in an exclusive clip of Friday’s episode after finding out the results of her ex-husband Javi Marroquin‘s lie detector test, which might indicate he had been unfaithful to her during their marriage.
The two share a 4-year-old son, Lincoln.
The results left Lowry speechless and livid, as Marroquin had long accused her of her own infidelity. Dr. Ish attempted to calm her, but Lowry wasn’t having it.

Police in Gainesville, Florida, have launched an investigation into a family physician seen in viral video footage berating a female patient who complained about her wait time, People confirms.

Reese Witherspoon‘s kids are growing up — and developing quite the dynamic among themselves.
The Oscar winner and Draper James founder graces the cover of Southern Living‘s September issue, dishing to the magazine about life at home with her kids: Tennessee James, 5 next month, Deacon Reese, 13, and Ava Elizabeth, 17.
“The kids all have funny and unique relationships with each other,” says Witherspoon, 41. “Ava is like another parent to Tennessee, like his other mother. I think sometimes he even gets confused — he told Ava ‘Happy Mother’s Day!’ ”
“And Tennessee is just sort of like Deacon’s protégé,” she adds.

In our current political climate, as I watch the sides battle it out in their beliefs of who is right and who is wrong, I can only wonder whether either would have the temerity to survive if circumstances reached a boiling point.
While it may not be quite boiling yet, the events of Colony Season 2 Episode 8 are only going add fuel to the fire.
Survival continues to depend upon gray areas. If you're staunchly black or white, i.e., unwilling to temporarily work with the other side to gain information and ensure you live to fight another day, your days will be numbered. There's no question about it.
What many of us have already determined, and what it appears those we appreciate the most on Colony are also realizing, is that these groups cannot continue to function as silo organizations and hope to outwit the Raps.

For Carly Rae Jepsen, career moves are all about trusting one's instincts. In 2012, when her brain freeze-inducing single "Call Me Maybe" slingshotted her to the top of the charts, the Canadian pop star rush-released her breakthrough sophomore album Kiss, heading on her international "Summer Kiss" tour the following year and wrapping in the fall. As the hectic promotional cycle for Kiss finished, Jepsen took a hard left. While others might head back to the studio, Jepsen satisfied her musical theater sweet tooth by assuming the title role in Broadway's Cinderella,...

29 years after he wrote it, Pulitzer Prize-winning Village Voice cartoonist and now-and-again screenwriter Jules Feiffer's "Bernard and Huey" will finally live on the big screen. Director Dan Mirvish and Bugeater Films more than doubled their Kickstarter goal this week, raising over $22,000 to mount Feiffer's comedy about two rekindled old friends and the women who complicate their lives. The characters were first introduced in 1957 in his eponymous Village Voice comic strip. (Check out the story of how Mirvish unearthed the script here.) Feiffer later wrote scripts for Mike Nichols' scabrous sex satire "Carnal Knowledge" (1971, based on his un-produced play), Alan Arkin's directorial debut "Little Murders" (1971), Robert Altman's "Popeye" (1980) and Alain Resnais' "I Want to Go Home" (a 1989 comedy about a cartoonist), among others. A WGA Lifetime Achievement Winner, Feiffer also wrote the 1961 Oscar-winning animated...

What is actually up with the Bachelorette contestants this season?
With each passing episode, a new suitor completely self-destructs. After Ryan M., Kupah and Tony, Monday's episode had former front-runner Ian going completely off the rails over a bruised ego. He also slut-shamed Kaitlyn while going on about all the sex he has and how he's such a great catch. Oh, and he thinks he'd make a great Bachelor. More on that nonsense below.
Also, Joshua had his own Britt Nilsson-style meltdown over Nick's entry into the competition, but he wasn't the only one unimpressed with the newest arrival.

It seems life in the Big Brother house may be getting to Jack McDermott.
In scenes airing tonight (May 31), Jack retreats to the bedroom to have a quiet few minutes as the rest of the housemates celebrate with drinks and nibbles.
As Jack cries, Danny Wisker comes to comfort him, saying that everybody has had their bad days.
"It is hard mate," Danny says. "Even I have broken down, we are surrounded by people who we don't want to be."
Jack says he found it hard to watch four housemates leave the house, with Danny replying: "I haven't stopped thinking about it. I miss them like hell."
Jack isn't the only housemate who is feeling emotional, as both Simon Gross and Jade Lynch have a few tears in the Diary Room.

Amanda Holden had her own kitchen nightmare when she accidentally threw hot cannelloni beans all over celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo on This Morning.
The Britain's Got Talent judge had already revealed to D'Campo that she was scared of the pan sizzling with beans before he attempted to give her a simple 'back and forth' demonstration of how to handle the pan.
Unfortunately, Holden was a little over-zealous with the motions and ended up spilling the contents of the frying pan all over D'Campo's jeans.
"I'm a destroyer," she announced, before placing the pan back on the hob.
"Did I not tell you I had an interview after the show?" D'Campo joked (we think).
"You were worried about your hands smelling of garlic... You've got beans down your trousers," co-host Phillip Schofield helpfully added. "Look at the state of that!"

A regrettable result of the enormous arthouse success of the late Alain Resnais's early films (movies which transformed audience expectations of what a movie could be), is that a lot of his later films are relatively underseen. Perhaps his career would have taken a different path if he had ever made his dream project, Mandrake the Magician, potentially kickstarting the comic book adaptation boom years early...

Who doesn't love an awards show? Tend to think of Richard Attenborough as a kindly old man? Aliya digs into his early career to find some far nastier roles...
British cinema has always liked its angry young men: Richard Burton, Albert Finney, Laurence Harvey and others all played the 1950s and 60s social animal, raging against the class system and the staid attitudes of post-war Britain.
But they weren’t the first angry young man on the screen. Maybe that crown could be claimed by an unlikely actor – Richard Attenborough. Attenborough is best known now as a director and producer, for films such as Gandhi, Chaplin and Shadowlands. When he gets thought of as an actor, it’s often as a kindly old man with a white beard. Misguided, sometimes, as when he played John Hammond, the owner of Jurassic Park, but not downright nasty. A lot of his earlier...

Complex and avant-garde French film director best known for Night and Fog and Last Year in Marienbad
Alain Resnais, who has died aged 91, was a director of elegance and distinction who, despite generally working from the screenplays of other writers, established an auteurist reputation. His films were singular, instantly recognisable by their style as well as through recurring themes and preoccupations. Primary concerns were war, sexual relationships and the more abstract notions of memory and time. His characters were invariably adult (children were excluded as having no detailed past) middle-class professionals. His style was complex, notably in the editing and often – though not always – dominated by tracking shots and multilayered sound.
He surrounded himself with actors, musicians and writers of enormous talent and the result was a somewhat elitist body of work with little concern for realism or the socially or intellectually deprived. Even overtly political works, Night and Fog,...

The Jump is just around the corner, and we've already brought you a chat with Marcus Brigstocke and Nicky Clarke - but how about two of the glammest skiers we've ever met?

Amy on taking the competition seriously...
"I signed up to the competition because it's good to see people like me in a different light," Amy said. "Normally, you'd see me glam but I'm quite a competitive person. I've got a competitive personality and I'm really enjoying it. It is scary - I do think, 'Why am I doing it,...

We're down to the top eight dancers, and wow, what dancers. I can't really say there's anyone I want to go home, and I almost never feel that way at this point in the season. But then, when everyone's this good, it's a shame anyone has to go. Sorta love that opening number! It's like a continuation of Jasmine's hip hop routine from two weeks ago. Cat Deeley looks like she just got out of the pool after falling in with a full-face of non-waterproof make-up. She has news! The All-Stars are choreographing the routines. Somewhere, Sonja Tayeh is taking a...

Quick, call the wah-mbulance, 'cause everyone is getting weepy on The Bachelorette! In tonight's episode, Desiree Hartsock breaks down and cries "I want to go home!" and we see some of the guys choke up too. It is sure to be dramatic—but perhaps not for the reason the promo leads us to believe. The teaser makes it seem as though Desiree is head-over-heels in love with someone—we even hear her telling host Chris Harrison "I love this man"—but Bachelorette insiders tell us that Desiree actually wanted to leave the show because "most of the guys just weren't all that great or trust-worthy" and she "had an incredibly hard time trusting them." Says one...

Los Angeles, April 16: Hollywood actress Jane Levy, who is ready to star in the remake of the 1981 classic "The Evil Dead", says it is "the horror film of all horror films".
The actress plays lead role in the film, directed by Fede Alvarez.
Levy said she was left distressed while filming the remake, titled "Evil Dead", because of all of the horrible things that happen to her character.
"I wouldn't call it a good thing, but sometimes I don't really have to act. I'm so tired that I'm crying, I'm so cold I want to go home, really, just like my character. It makes my job easier sometimes, a bit more real," femalefirst.co.uk.

One thing clearly evident from our visit to the set of the new Evil Dead in Auckland is that filmmaker Fede Alvarez made his up-and-coming cast suffer for the sake of pushing the remake into some dark and unexpectedly twisted places.
His goal is to deliver an extremely visceral movie-going experience for fans of the series. Need proof? Then look no further than the wickedly gory red band trailer released last week!
Much like he did with his original 1981 cult classic, Sam Raimi handpicked a group of relatively unknown 20-something actors for this version of Evil Dead, but this time he had help from franchise hero and fellow producer Bruce Campbell. And as anyone who has researched what went into making the original Evil Dead flicks knows, "The Chin" also suffered greatly at the hand of Raimi throughout that trio of productions.

Recently, Styd visited the set of Evil Dead and gathered all sorts of goodies and info about the upcoming remake of Sam Raimi’s classic horror film. We cobbled together some of the exciting tidbits, but for the full report, go here and here.
What’s clear is that the film is not a straight remake of the original; there is no Ash character. I think everything that we’ve found out thus far lends belief that this remake is being made the right way, with the full support of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell.
Fede Alvarez: “We aren’t trying to recreate anything, per se. We are trying not to watch the movie and match it…The trap in making a movie like this is the short cuts. It’s easy to say that it worked in the original so it will work again.”
Star Lou Taylor Pucci on the film: “I think,...

The purpose of a cliffhanger is to keep the fans talking — for a week or for months. Here are five that got our readers buzzing.
5. Grey’s Anatomy, “Flight”: Perhaps we should really be naming season 8′s penultimate episode, “Migration,” which ended with the plane crash that would leave us asking “Who’s gonna die?” for a week until this finale (it was Lexie Grey), but then, even at the end of “Flight,” the doctors still weren’t rescued, despite Cristina’s meta-commentary: “If there’s one thing that I’ve learned with all the bombs and the guns...

Last night's Grey's Anatomy's “Remember the Time” should have been this season's premiere episode. This well written, incredibly acted, heartbreaking and immensely disturbing installment of Grey's had me in tears and swallowing migraine medication to relieve my stress headache. Seriously, I had to take Tylenol after watching a traumatized Cristina describe trying to keep wild animals from eating Lexie's body in the woods. But I shouldn't get ahead of myself, so let's start at the beginning, shall we?
This episode flashes back to the rescue after the plane crash, so we finally know what happened to our tortured cast-members. The survivors are taken to a local hospital in Idaho but because of Arizona and Mark's extreme medical conditions everyone will need to be flown back to Seattle for emergency care.
Arizona overhears a doctor recommend to Owen that they amputate her leg.
Arizona: I withhold consent.

I had one hell of a weekend, and I don’t mean that in the swinging wild party, gorgeous male strippers in thongs stuffed with dollar bills, wake up and don’t remember what the hell happened. I mean hell in all its Dante’s Inferno Nine-Circles-Of, sturm und drang blitzkrieg, complete with crying jags and sheer, utterly emotional exhaustion.
We moved my parents to what is called in healthcare parlance a “continuous care retirement community.” They’re still living independently. It’s not quite assisted living. Yet.
Not that it’s a bad place. Actually, it’s quite lovely. Their new apartment is more spacious than the place they left; we didn’t have to get rid of any of their furniture, and by the time I left early yesterday afternoon, it looked like “home,” especially after brother Glenn, daughter Alix and her husband Jeff hung all the pictures...

Skylar Laine took a very zen approach to her "American Idol" performance this week, telling Zap2it twice before her eventual elimination on the Top 5 results show that she tried her best but was expecting the worst. It must have worked, because when she finally enters the backstage press area to talk to reporters after the show, she seems very relaxed about her exit.
