I was lucky enough to buy some episodes from a guy on Ebay, because I hadn't seen the series at the time it aired. My very favorite celebrity, JOHN ENOS, who played the part of Bobby Perezi, Amanda' love interest only confirmed this all the more. John looked unbelievable as this character; tall, great looking, sophisticated, intelligent, looking like a fashion ad no matter what he wore. I loved John's part, he played it so well as Vincent's going-straight (instead of following dad's lifestyle) son. A take-charge kinda guy, yet gentle, charming, loving and kind trying to make his way out of the difficult family lifestyle his father has fashioned for him and expected him to uphold. He was fantastic as Amanda's love interest. Although everyone else seemed to be sleeping around with everyone else, this did not seem to be true of Bobby. He seemed to be in love with and stuck to one woman in the person of Amanda, determined to make up to her the stress and horror that his brother Jack had inflicted on her. I loved the way he tried to accomplish that. John no matter role he plays, seems to have a strenth about him and yet is able to maintain a certain innocence which adds greatly to his charm. He has a great presence and leaves an impact on one. I noticed this the first time I saw him in Over The Line, a straight to video movie. I REALLY hope one of the movers & shakers in Hollywood notices and puts John's great talent to use. I really identified with John in Melrose Place and can see great things in his future & I'll certainly do whatever I can to support his gifted talent and career. koolgirlie
