It’s always a good time to revisit the “Final Destination” movies, one of the goriest, most (re)watchable horror franchises of all time.
The cast of characters trying to dodge Death in each film changes (for the most part), but the enigmatic and menacing coroner William Bludworth (“Candyman” star Tony Todd) is in every installment except the fourth movie.
Here’s where you can stream all five movies, where people who survived catastrophic disasters are killed off in inventively gruesome ways.

“Final Destination” (2000)
In the first film, student Alex Browning (Devon Sawa) has a terrifying vision that the plane his French class is taking to Paris will explode, killing everyone. He freaks out and leaves the plane, as do several other students and one teacher. The flight does, in fact, go up in flames … and then people begin dying in the...

I love movies more than just about anything else in the world, but if anything is going to rank higher on my personal hierarchy of needs, it's the promise of free stuff. The economy is in shambles and my rent just went up, so needless to say, I am all about anything that doesn't come with a price tag. We here at /Film have been preaching the gospel of Pluto TV, the free ad-supported streaming television (Fast) provider with thousands of titles in their library and specialized channels of constantly running programming, for years.
If you long for the days of turning on the TV in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday and watching whatever it is the cable programming gods decided for you, this is the closest thing to capturing that feeling. Want to watch a horror movie? There's a channel for that. Hoping to check out...

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Tuesday’s midseason finale of the sixth and final season of “Empire.”)
“Empire” ended the first half of its sixth and final season Tuesday with a physical fight between Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and Lucious (Terrence Howard) over his unwillingness to sign their divorce papers because he says he still loves her. The fight only came to an end because “White Tracy” (Amanda Detmer) stormed in and pointed a gun at the Lyons.
While the Fox hip-hop drama’s showrunner, Brett Mahoney, wouldn’t tell TheWrap if White Tracy is going to pull the trigger — and who she might hit if she does — when the show returns in the spring, he did tell us the situation with Cookie and Lucious just before Tracy puts their lives in jeopardy does “set up clearly what we’re talking about for the back half of the season.

Spoiler Alert: This article contains details of tonight’s midseason finale of Empire‘s sixth and final season.
“I think what we’re seeing here is that this family truly loves one another, but they have a lot of baggage and they have a lot of drama,” Empire showrunner Brett Mahoney says of the Fox series’ Lyon clan as they head toward their final episodes. “So, the question is, at the end of the day, do they have enough love to keep them together or will the drama pull them apart?”
To that question, halfway through the supersized sixth and final season of the Lee Daniels- and Danny Strong-created hip hop drama, tonight’s midseason “Cold Cold Man” finale ended with a typical Empire bang — at least that is the implication.

Hey, fellow "Empire" fans. If you tuned in to try to watch the brand new episode 5 of this current season 6 this past Tuesday night, October 29, 2019, you were most likely quite disappointed to see that it wasn't on. It had already been canceled the week prior to that on October 22, 2019. The reason was because Fox was doing Live coverage of the 2019 Major League Baseball World Series between the Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals. They played the best 4 out of 7 games. So, it eventually got pushed to a Game 6, which took place right when Empire was supposed to air on October 29, 2019. After that, the series got pushed to a maximum 7th game the following night, October 30,2019. The good news is that the World Series is completely over now. The Washington Nationals won the series for anyone out there who may give a damn. But, we know what you guys give a damn about,...

Hey, fellow "Empire" fans. Unfortunately, it's that time of the year again where we have to deliver bad news for your favorite show. It turns out that the next, new Empire episode 5 will indeed be delayed next Tuesday night, October 22, 2019. Instead, episode 5 is currently scheduled to air on Tuesday night, October 29, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on Fox. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars. Why is Empire not airing next Tuesday night, October 22, 2019? That's a very good question, and we certainly have an answer for it. It's World Series Baseball time again, and the huge Game 2 is scheduled to be played on October 22, 2019. That means Fox will use all of their primetime time slots to provide Live coverage of this major sporting event. According to the TV Guide listings, Fox will be providing a whopping 3 full hours of Live primetime...

Spoiler Alert: This article contains details of tonight’s Empire Season 5 finale.
“The idea of moving forward without him is a true challenge, and no decisions have been made as of yet of how we move forward,” Empire showrunner Brett Mahoney admits of the contentious Jussie Smollett’s exit from the Fox series at the end of the just-concluded fifth season.
“We’ll work that out when reconvene the room and we come up with the creative,” the executive producer adds of the upcoming Season 6 of Fox’s hip hop drama.
Although Smollett was written out of the final two episodes of the Lee Daniels- and Danny Strong-created series following his legal troubles in Chicago, tonight’s Mahoney co-written “The Roughest Day” didn’t miss a beat in turning out to be the whirlwind ending we’ve come to expect from an Empire finale.

Lucious didn’t come to fight on tonight’s “Empire” — but he will.
In TheWrap’s exclusive clip from Wednesday’s episode of the Fox hip-hop drama, Lucious (Terrence Howard) comes to visit his baby mama Tracy (played by guest star Amanda Detmer) to have a frank discussion about their son, Jeff Kingsley (A.Z. Kelsey), whom he only recently learned about.
Lucious does not understand how Tracy could be so mad about him abandoning Kingsley as a child, when she never even gave him a chance to know he had a fourth son. You know, in addition to Andre (Trai Byers), Jamal (Jussie Smollett), and Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) — the legitimate Lyon boys Lucious has with his wife Cookie (Taraji P. Henson).
The conversation doesn’t go as cordially as Lucious had hoped it would, but he’s not ready to back down and take responsibility for bailing on Kingsley.

Rob Estes and Evan Handler have both nabbed roles on season two of Necessary Roughness.
The former Melrose Place and 90210 star will appear on the September premiere as Tk's agent, someone willing to do anything at all for his client.
Handler (Sex and the City, Californicaion), meanwhile, will portray Marshall Pittman, a media mogul who owns the New York Hawks and who will guest star on three upcoming episodes.
Necessary Roughness starting shooting on season two today in Atlanta. Entertainment Weekly also confirms that Amanda Detmer will return on a recurring basis as Dani's best friend, Jeanette.

ABC has pulled their ratings-challenged sitcom, Man Up!, from the schedule. While their pulling the surely-cancelled series certainly isn't much of a surprise, the timing is a bit odd.
Starring Christopher Moynihan, Dan Fogler, Mather Zickel, Henry Simmons, Teri Polo and Amanda Detmer, Man Up! debuted on October 18th and attracted an underwhelming 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.78 million total viewers. The second week saw the demo drop by 17%, followed by a 10% decline in week three, and another 6% after that in week four. This week's installment, the show's eighth, hit a series low with a 1.6 in the demo and 4.82 million.
Man Up! has averaged a 1.9 in the 18-49 demo and 6.44 million. It's the network's second-lowest rated show this season (just below Body of Proof and just above already-cancelled Charlie's Angels). On our ABC ratings...

ABC has announced their upcoming mid-season schedule and, not surprisingly, Man Up! isn't on it. Does this mean that it's cancelled?
Man Up! revolves around three adult guys who have questionable childish behavior and decide that it's time to finally grow up. The sitcom stars Christopher Moynihan, Dan Fogler, Mather Zickel, Henry Simmons, Teri Polo, and Amanda Detmer.
The sitcom debuted to a mediocre 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 7.78 million total viewers. It lost a significant number of viewers from lead-in Last Man Standing and saw a decline in viewership of 12% between the first and second halves of the premiere. It was in third place for the timeslot.
Week two saw a decline of 17% in the demo, week three fell another 10%, and week three fell another 6%. It seems that the show's performance has evened off...

We've entered that time of year that is a sort of television black hole, and I can hardly imagine something that better showcases this idea than ABC's Man Up!, a show that gives the impression that the writers are running out of material before the pilot ends. A kind of shtick series (think the pilot of Cougar Town), which one imagines will be forced to "level out" before, Man Up! centers around three men who have some serious questions about their inclusion in that particular category.
Will Keen (Mather Zickel) plays Call of Duty with his friends Craig (Jake Johnson) and Kenny (Dan Fogler), and something about that fact (and his penchant for hazelnut creamer) doesn't quite translate into "man," especially when he considers that his father and grandfather both fought in wars. Well, there's also the fact, though the show won't mention it exactly, that he's rather whipped by...

Chicago – What can be said about “Man Up” that wasn’t already said about “Last Man Standing”? Neither show has the slightest shred of insight into the mind of modern man. They appear to have been conceived by network executives who hate men with a fiery passion. How else to explain the thoroughly insulting, utterly asinine portraits of masculine arrested development?
Whereas “Standing” cast Tim Allen as an aggressively ignorant family man yearning for a less enlightened yet more testosterone-fueled era, “Man Up” assembles three pathetic schlubs who represent the man-children who Allen reviles. As bad as Allen’s show is, with its stale banter and laugh track that guffaws at every single line, “Man Up” has achieved the unthinkable: it’s even worse. In fact, it’s flat out torturous.
Television Rating: 1.0/5.0

We start the Top 7. You finish the Top 10.
Killing teenagers on-screen is a bloody cash cow of sorts for Hollywood, however strange our desire to watch such events may be. Before the Final Destination films, the killing of meddling kids was usually up to serial killers like Jason Voorhees or Freddy Krueger. Starting in 2000, director James Wong introduced a new, elusive serial killer to teenagers – Death itself. And instead of being limited by physical capabilities or select iconic weaponry, this villain would be able to destroy its victims in any way it could imagine. Unlike Freddy, this villain would also have the ability to force screws to loosen, or blow something over with a gust of wind.
When deciding upon the “Top 7″ death scenes from the franchise’s five films, one must consider a few things: gruesomeness, memorability, and their importance to the entire philosophy of Death, according to the franchise.

'Final Destination 5' opens today, and with it, the franchise joins a somewhat-exclusive club of horror franchises -- including 'Friday the 13th' (12), 'Halloween' (10), 'Nightmare on Elm Street' (9) and 'Hellraiser' (9), among others -- that can claim at least five entries.
The series started off quite well -- the second one was nearly as good as the first -- but saw a slight dip in quality with the third and fourth installments. However, we've heard that the latest film is a return to the thrilling heights of the earlier flicks. One thing that that never really lagged is its casting of attractive young stars eager to meet with grisly on-screen deaths, a time-honored tradition in the horror genre dating back to the '70s and '80s classics listed above and continuing through the 'Scream' series in the '90s and 'Saw' in the aughts.

USA Network is hoping to put together a "doctor in unusual circumstances" one-two punch with its new show Necessary Roughness following the new season premiere of Royal Pains. After HankMed has its way with you, Necessary Roughness will offer up a therapist who finds herself diving into less than the normal routine, and since the world of physical health doctor out of water did so well, hopefully the mental health world will perform as well.
Necessary Roughness has a few more chinks in its armor than most of the new shows that USA puts out, and what stands out most is that it is difficult to tell where it's going, and it's even more difficult to tell who exactly the show is for. The pilot sets us up with Dr. Dani Santino (Callie Thorne) as a therapist who is a fan of hypnotherapy, and the first thing that happens in...

Chicago – USA’s new summer drama “Necessary Roughness” gives new meaning to the phrase “the psychiatrist is crazier than the patient.” In this case, Callie Thorne (“Rescue Me,” “Californication”) is Dani Santino, a freshly dumped wife and mother of two teenagers who runs a psycho- and hypnotherapy practice out of her tony suburban Long Island home.

Tough-as-nails, but with what can best be described as functional obsessive-compulsive disorder, she confronts her husband’s serial philandering after noticing that the pristine bed linens in her guest room have been tucked in with hospital corners instead of box pleats. Taking a page out of the successful television playbook, Necessary Roughness introduces viewers to an exclusive world where the rich and powerful play and where they can stumble into some thorny predicaments if they do not keep their game face on and cannot keep their head in the game – whether the game is competitive sports, politics, the news room, on a race track or in a boardroom. To help keep these power players in the game, they seek the aid of Dr. Dani Santino, a psychotherapist, deftly portrayed by Callie Thorne. During a recent press call, Callie shared what makes Dr. Dani the best player in the game.
What was it about the premise of the show and your character that made you want to do it?

ABC has a slew of new shows coming, many of which need a lot of luck if they're going to last more than a handful of episodes. The schedule has been released, so let's take a lot at what's coming.
Oddly enough, as part of the new announcement, ABC has solidified the return of several more shows, including Happy Endings, despite the fact that two other networks have shows on their slate with cast members from the show. That should be interesting. Of course, it works for me, because I'm a fan.
In other news, Desperate Housewives will not die. Are you kidding me with this show still being on?

Judging from the fall schedules released thus far by NBC, ABC, and Fox, a decent number of the networks' comedy offerings will aim to encroach on the formula used in Judd Apatow's recent films: they focus on beautiful and/or powerful women, and the slightly emasculated, slacker guys who love them.
NBC, with its Thursday night block of critically acclaimed, laugh-track-free, single-camera comedies, will try the multi-camera approach with "Whitney," which follows a couple (played by comedian Whitney Cummings and a shaggy, bearded Chris D'Elia, fitting the bill quite nicely) who watches most of their friends marry off, while they choose not to tie the knot.
Watch a preview:
Also slated for the fall is the Lorne Michaels-produced "Up All Night," featuring Christina Applegate and Will Arnett as parents of a newborn daughter. Applegate is the high-powered working mom and Arnett is the stay-at-home dad who plays Xbox...

Earlier we shared ABC's primetime lineup, and now we have some clips from the new comedy series for you. The new comedies include Apartment 23, Suburgatory, Last Man Standing, Man Up, and Work It. So far I think Apartment 23 looks the best. Check out the clips below and let us know what shows you are liking the most.
Apartment 23
After a naive Midwestern girl's big city dreams are dashed her first week in New York, she finds herself living with her worst nightmare in this hilarious, contemporary comedy about a female odd couple who are surrounded by an outrageous cast of characters. June (Dreama Walker) moves to Manhattan for a dream job and the perfect company apartment, only to have them disappear in a puff of reality, thanks to a CEO from the Bernie Madoff school of embezzlement. Deep in debt and out on the streets, June scrambles to land a job and place to live.

What do you get when you cross iconic fairy tale figures with a pair of cross-dressing men? How about a mysterious Amazon monster with a trio of Angels? Or even a bitch in a New York walk-up and a team of ’60s flight attendants? Why, that motley crew is at the center of ABC’s colorful 2011-12 TV season lineup.

NBC and Fox have both unleashed their Fall 2011-2012 TV schedule, now ABC has released theirs. I’m excited to see Castle, Modern Family, and The Middle back in the mix. Most of the new shows they have line-up don’t really interest me, but there are a few that have caught my eye. PanAm is another 1960’s based TV show that will go against AMC’s Mad Men and NBC’s The Playboy Club. There’s a show called Revenge that sounds really interesting, but the new series I’m most excited about is is the fantasy series Once Upon A Time, a show where fairy tales collide with the modern day.
Here is ABC’s full schedule along with a description of all of their shows. Go through them below and let us know what TV series you’re most excited about seeing.

Chicago – NBC & Fox released their schedules already this week and there are a few interesting highlights, but ABC has released easily the most aggressive and ambitious new slate of programs, which will feature at least one new program five nights a week. Overall, they’re debuting seven new programs in the Fall alone, clearly trying to cement an exciting schedule before the mid-season instead of holding back programs for 2012.
