Very Underrated Film
17 September 2006
Memois of an invisible man was very underrated and deserved a lot more credit then it got cause this was an excellent film, very well written and very good special effects. Chevy Chase plays an obnoxious business man who as the result of a lab accident becomes what we all dream of as a child, becoming invisible, But for Nick (Chevy Chase) he is not so lucky especially when the evil sleaze ball Jenkins(Sam Neil) from the CIA gets word of it and wants to use Nick for a country spy. All Nick wants to do is go on with the rest of his life and be with the woman of his Dreams, Alice (Daryl Hannah)but he has to constantly be on the run from the CIA as they will stop at nothing to get him. However, th ending was good cause Jenkins got what he deserved and Nick ends up finally going on with his life with Alice.

This movie goes to show that Cheve Chase can play a serious role and John Carpenter can make a good film. There was some funny parts in the film but all in all the film was sort of a serious story. This film should have got a lot more credit and recognition then it did because all their actors did a wonderful job in the film so If you haven't seen this film I highly recommend it cause it's definitely worth seeing.

One of the worst films out there
16 September 2006
I remember seeing this movie when it first came out in 2001 and it was by far one of the worst films I think I've ever seen. David Spade can be funny at times but in this film he worsen't funny at all. The script was lousy, the actors were awful and the story was terrible. This was a complete waste of film, time and money not to mention that the movie was not even funny or amusing and David Spade could have done a heck of a lot better cause some of his films are actually good but not this one it was horrible and boring and a complete waste, So my advice is If you haven't seen this film yet then don't bother because it's not worth seeing at all.

Our Miss Brooks (1952–1956)
One of the best shows of the 50's
28 April 2006
I've seen a good many episodes of Our Miss Brooks and they are excellent, a not so everyday school with an English teacher and her strong crush on the bashful biology teacher Mr. Boynton. My favorite was Mr. Conklin, the crusty no nonsense Pricipal who always clashed with Miss Brooks as well as the nerdy Walter Denton who had a crush on Conklin's daughter, Harriet. But, in the 4th season the show show was not as good at all because Miss Brooks transfers to a private school along with Mr. Conklin who also gets a job there as principal and so then the show just just kind of sunk. I never liked it as well. The 1st 3 seasons were the best when the cast was at Madison High school. Those are the episodes worth watching, after that the 4th season isn't worth seeing because it just wasn't as funny.

Average Movie 5 out of 10
26 April 2006
I just rented this Movie recently and it is not as bad people made it out to be, But then again it most certainly isn't a top notch movie either compared to the horror or science fiction movies shown today. This film is good to watch on a rainy day if you need a good laugh. Attack of the giant leeches was a bit more cheesy then funny. It makes you realize that back in the 50's and 60's Scary movies weren't as graphic as they are today. I wouldn't spend good money on it though, to me it's a movie to watch if you are bored and want to kill an hour. even though there are a few good scenes in the movie, The special effects just aren't what special effects are today due to the fact that most special effects now a days are done by computer graphics.

A classic that families have enjoyed for decades!
1 December 2005
Warning: Spoilers
The Wizard of oz is most definitely a favorite film for several generations. Children have enjoyed this film for years. However what many people never quite realized is that Dorathy's journey in the land of oz was all in her dream. The film starts out with Dorathy being very upset because the nasty woman Ms. Gulch wants to take her dog Toto to the sheriff to be put to sleep because Toto bit her so she gets an order allowing her to take the dog to the sheriff, so Mrs. Gulch takes Toto in a basket on her Bicycle and heads for the Sheriff. Toto jumps out of the basket and runs back to Dorathy who is in her room crying. When Toto jumps in Dorathy's bedroom window, Dorathy takes Toto and starts to run away and she and Toto end up at Profesor Marvel's Trailer, After talking to Professor Marvel Dorathy realizes that running away from Aunt Em and Uncle Henry was not the right choice she starts to head for home right when the tornado hits. By the time she reaches the house the tornado is getting stronger and everyone has gone to the basement cellar. Dorathy goes in the house and looks for everyone and the window caves in right where Dorathy is standing and it knocks her unconscious and that is when Dorathy has her dream about the magical land of oz with characters who resembled people she knew in Kansas such as the three workman on the farm, Professor Marvel and The wicked witch of the west who resembled the mean Mrs. Gulch. When she wakes up at the end of the movie from the dream Everyone on the farm is there beside her. Nothing was mentioned about Mrs. Gulch so most of us assumed that she was killed in the tornado. Bottom line is this film has been a favorite for many generations and it always will be.

Get a Life (1990–1992)
The show was original
28 September 2005
What can I say "Get a Life was so Strange that it was funny. Half the episodes didn't make any kind of point, but it was funny just the same. The show was basically about a middle aged boy named Chris Peterson who had a paper route and lived with his parents, at least in the 1st season and above all else, HAD NO LIFE! The show only lasted two seasons. During the 2nd season Chris moves out of his parents house and into the basement of retired police officer, Gus who was his landlord-friend. Why FOX didn't keep the series on longer I don't understand because the show had many amusing episodes, corny but funny. I do miss this show I look back and remembered laughing my self silly watching this show every week. But, as usual FOX always cancels the good TV Shows.

Not a Christmas film for young children.
26 August 2005
First off I would like to say that this movie should have had a PG rating and not a G rating. Most young children between the ages 4 through 10 are not going to understand the plot or point to this film because it is kind of a dark and depressing film. Even though at the end Ginny turned out to like Christmas, throughout the movie was very tense especially the scene where Harry kills Jack at the bank. Even though it was all part of Ginny's dream by Gideon to like Christmas most young children are not going to understand that along with many other scenes in her dream. So, the bottom line is if you have young children between the ages of 4 to 10 sit with them when they watch this movie because it may frighten them like it did me when I was 5 years old.

A chilling but yet sad film.
8 May 2005
After watching this film about 3 or 4 times I really understood the point. SY Parrish was truly a guy that I really felt sorry for because it was quite obvious that he had no one in his life. I strongly believe that even though SY got carried away with his obsession with the Yorkin family I feel that he truly cared about Jake and his mom. That is why I understood why he did some of what he did. SY however went about it the wrong way but all in all SY in a weird sense was trying to prove to Jake's Mother that Mr. Yorkin (Jake's Father) was a jerk, and I think Mr. Yorkin got what he deserved at the Hotel, the scare of his life to wake his A** up and make him see how he was hurting his family which at the end of this film it was clear that Mr. Yorkin felt bad about having the affair in the first place. The bottom line is this, even though this Movie was a thriller it was also sad and depressing-because I know people who are sad and lonely like SY and that is why my heart truly went out to SY because all he wanted was someone in his life to care about him. We all need to be loved.

Mary Poppins (1964)
10/10
One of if not the best classic Disney film made.
16 March 2005
I have enjoyed this film ever since I was about 8 or 9 years old. Mary Poppins is about a British nanny in London to two rambunctious children, Jane and Michael Banks with a no nonsense father, George Banks. This film is an excellent Disney classic. I never get tired of watching this film. The laughter, the humor and the story all together was touching and funny. Julie Andrews was great. My favorite character was Dick Van Dyke who played the Bert, the lovable chimney sweep and then there is Ed Wynn who played the hilarious Uncle Albert who loved to laugh all the time. Another thing I like about this film is that I am so glad that Disney has not made a crappy sequel like they have done with so many other classic Disney films, with Mary Poppins, so far they have let this one stay the way it was originally and for that I am very grateful because every sequel that Disney has made to the original classics are horrible. Never the less, this film is touching, heartwarming and funny. If you have not seen this film I highly recommend that you or you and your children see this film. You will love it.

Great Classic!
30 October 2004
Warning: Spoilers
When this Movie first came out, I went to see it and I still to this day think it is the bomb. This Film is a hell of a lot better then almost a third of the Disney movies out there. The story was great The animation was good too. This movie had a lot of funny scenes as well as serious ones, I think that is what made the film so good. My favorite Character was Tiger the wonderful and charming alley cat. When you first see him you think he is going to be mean like all of the other alley cats who are out to kill the mice. But, Tiger was fun-loving when he Fievel became friends while Fievel was locked in a cage by the other cats. Tiger sets him free and then gets fired by Warren T. Rat, The greedy cat who is in charge of all the other cats and cares about how much money he can make. It was interesting though throughout the series when Fievel is separated from his family because his sister Tilly/Tonya knew in her heart that Fievel was still alive Somewhere Out There. and tries to tell her mama and papa while His mama and papa were sure he was dead. There were so many times in the series where Fievel and his family passed each other and didn't see one another like when Fievel and Tony were walking on top of the bridge and his family was right below the bridge, It was funny though because just be fore that Tanya/Tillie had just asked her papa to play his violin to see if Fievel would hear his song. There were a couple of times when there was a violin playing and when Fievel heard it he thought that it WAS his papa. The ending when Fievel and his family were reunited was touching when they are all hugging in the water and the fireworks are going off. All and all this cartoon film was the bomb and I am very happy that someone else besides Disney gets credit for such an awesome film. Fievel Goes West was also a pretty good film as well.

Not too bad for a remake
11 July 2004
All in all this film was not too bad for a remake of the classic 1947 Miracle on 34th street. But it was interesting because the storyline had been changed a little bit. It could never replace the original film but then again most remakes are never as good the original films. This film was heartwarming and funny though. It is just that the story and focus was changed a little bit. I usually watch this film around Christmas time for a good holiday cheer!

Out to Sea (1997)
what can I say it's a great film
7 June 2004
It is a great film, just like any other movie that Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau do together. This one was hilarious. Two guys that pose as dance hosts to go on a free cruise. This

film was funny, hilarious and a joy to see. I remember when this film first came out and I first heard about it I said to myself I can't wait to see it, I know this film will be good and it was. I liked Jack and Walter's adventures in this film especially the Cruise Director, Gil Godwyn who was such a jerk to work for, But it was funny to see Jack and Walter test his patients. Never the less if you haven't seen this film yet you are missing out on a great film. Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau always work so well together in films. It is a shame that they are no longer with us.

The Golden Girls (1985–1992)
The Golden Girls were one of a kind!
7 June 2004
The Golden Girls were without a doubt one of a kind. four older woman living together that in a lot of ways were completely different from one another. I remember growing up and watching this show every Saturday night with my mother. I would sit there with my mother and we would both laugh our selves silly at the show and all the cracks and comments Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia would make to one another. My mothers favorite character was Dorothy and my favorite was Sophia because she always had a wise crack to make especially at Blanche. Then there is Rose with her St. Olaf stories that she constantly told. I do still see The Golden Girls on Lifetime and I do still watch them every now and then for a laugh. Every time I see Betty, Rue, Bea or Estelle on TV it always reminds me of this show. I think that they worked very well together.

Bewitched (1964–1972)
A very Unique but interesting show.
7 June 2004
Bewitched is a unique show for the 60s. But, Never the less it was a wonderful idea A witch and a mortal and what married life is like for that life style. I watch this show all the time and I love it the magic, the love and the hate that goes on in this show is outstanding. My favorite character is Endora who is all the time looking for ways to make Darrin's life a living hell. Endora is the spitting image of a wicked witch except for her appearance. My other favorite is Samantha's Uncle Arthur with his warped sense of humor. The show was great But, When Dick York left the series the show wasn't quite as funny without him. Dick Sargent was good but he just could not replace the character of Darrin that Dick York was. Dick York played Darrin the best, especially with his fights and battles with Endora. The show just was not as funny without him. The show airs on TV Land. Remember if you want to see the best episodes look for the ones with Dick York.

Jim Carrey was what made the movie funny.
13 May 2004
I have seen this movie 5 or 6 times and every time I see it the only character that was funny was Jim Carrey as the grinch. Some of the

other characters were good in their roles but if Jim Carrey had not been in this film it would have bummed out. Never the less the movie it self had a very interesting storyline but could never compare to the all time Dr. Suess classic. I realize they had to stretch the

story out in the movie considering it was an hour and a half long movie instead of a half an hour cartoon and they did OK. So if you haven't seen this movie yet see it if you like Jim Carrey because he did a fantastic job playing the grinch in this movie.

This movie is great.
13 May 2004
I don't care what anyone else has said this is a great movie. I have seen this movie several times and Bill Cosby is funny, A single dad trying to raise 3 children until he has his accident and becomes a ghost. The adventures that Cosby goes through in this movie while he is a ghost are interesting. It is a great film for children of all ages. So, see this movie if you haven't already and I think you will be very surprised at the adventures of Cosby and the other Characters in this film.

The Simpsons (1989– )
The greatest show to hit FOX.
13 May 2004
The Simpsons is the greatest not to mention the longest running show in the history of television. I have watched the Simpsons ever since it was introduced in 1989 and I never get tired of watching it. The show has attracted viewers of all ages anywhere from 10 years old to 80 years old. This is about the only TV show that I know of that people have never got tired of. However there is a down side to it, Like many other cartoon series The Simpsons are frozen in time, with Bart always in the 4th grade, Lisa always

in the 2nd grade and Maggie always remaining 1 year old and never talking. What I think would be an interesting change for the show is that if they would make some episodes showing Bart and Lisa a few years older and with Maggie at an age where she could talk. I think it would be an interesting change for the Simpsons and that some of the viewers would enjoy it. Never the less the show is great and I am almost positive that everyone has seen the Simpsons one time or another.

Roseanne (1988–2018)
The show it self is OK, but Rosanne her self sucks!
13 May 2004
I have seen the show several times and the TV show is alright. However I do not like Rosanne Barr/Arnold at all. I think she is nothing but a fat obnoxious opinionated broad that has a very negative attitude. The only characters that even made the show worth watching were John Goodman and the kids in the show. Rosanne's personality in the show is about the same way she is in real life, a bi**h. I don't see why so many people like her, I Don't like anything about her or her attitude or personality. The TV show lasted way too long. A little bit of Rosanne goes a long ways!

The Price is Right (1972– )
The best game show on Television!
13 May 2004
The Price is Right is without a doubt the best not to mention the longest running game show in the history of Television. I have watched the Price is Right ever since I was a little boy and I still watch watch it to this day. But, Here is what makes the Price is Right the best game show and that is none other then BOB BARKER! Bob Barker is the best host ever and he is the one that that makes the show the success that it always has been. I can almost a sure you that once Bob Barker either retires or dies that the show will never make it because no matter who they get to replace Bob the game show just would not be the same because Bob Barker is a one of a kind and there is only one of him!

Problem Child (1990)
A good show about a boy who was misunderstood.
13 April 2004
Warning: Spoilers
I think a lot of people who see this show miss the point of why Junior sometimes acted the way he did. Usually when Junior got into mischief some of the time he was provoked or treated unkindly, mostly by other children and sometimes Big Ben. For Example:

When Junior, Ben and Flo were invited to a little girls birthday party, the girl was disrespectful to Junior by at first saying she didn't want him at her party because he was adopted. Then when she is forced to invite him she is mean to him at the party by leaving him out of all the party games and telling him he can't watch her magic show. So

therefore because of the way the girl treated him he gets even by destroying her party. Another time is when Junior plays baseball on the team that Ben is coaching, the boys all make fun of him there by calling Ben, his dad a dork so Junior knocks half the other team out with the baseball bat. I feel that Junior never believed that he was loved considering the fact that his real mother abandon him as well as several other families. The only one that ever tried to give Junior a chance was Ben Healy(John Ritter) his wife, Flo was too concerned with fitting in. Never the less this movie and Problem Child 2 were both excellent movies.

King of the Hill (1997–2010)
Mike Judge's worst creation of all time!
16 March 2004
This is about the most boring animated series I think I have ever seen in my life. The story lines and plots are so dull it just makes me want to rip my hair right out of my head. How can anyone in their right minds enjoy this pathetic show. I have only seen this show very few times and it is so lame, it is not nearly as good as Mike Judge's previous creation Beavis and Butt-head. In my opinion they should cancel King of the hill at once and bring back Beavis and Butt-head. Bottom line is this: If you are watching TV and see this show my best advice to you is CHANGE THE CHANNEL AT ONCE!! because this show will make you want to rip your hair right out of your head.

Beavis and Butt-Head (1993–2011)
9/10
The best animated TV series that MTV has ever had!
16 March 2004
When Beavis and Butt-head first came out in 1993 I thought

that it was and is the most awesome animated show I have ever seen, two typical teenagers always trying to get chicks, although Beavis and Butt-head (especially Beavis) have the brain the size of a walnut, they always make me laugh. I have a lot of episode on tape. However There are still many episodes I have not seen yet. I wish that MTV would release the entire series on DVD or VHS but so far they have not done so yet. Never the less Beavis and Butt-head was and still is the best thing MTV has come out with and it is a shame that it got canceled back in 1997. I miss this show and would give anything if MTV would either return the show or release the series on DVD or VHS.

Married... with Children (1987–1997)
A TV show that got ran into the ground.
9 March 2004
When this show first came out I thought it was interesting and unique, but after about the 4th or 5th season the show just got kind of lame and boring. I couldn't see how the show got to be as popular as it was. Married with Children was just one of those TV shows that really got ran into the ground. Granted, Ed O'Neil was funny from time to time but the show was too lame and half the time pointless. One of those shows that you would watch on a rainy day or if you were absolutely bored. I don't see why everyone thought it was so funny, because it wasn't. Fox could have done a lot better with the script. Ed O'Neil as Al Bundy was the only character who was semi funny and even he had his dull points.

A good sequel to the original Peter-no-tail
9 March 2004
I saw this film on the Disney channel about ten years ago along with the original Peter no-tail. This cartoon film was just about as good as the original, but the original was still my favorite. This one

however had a good point to it: What happens to someone from another country who is not use to a big city in America. Never the less Peter no-tail was still a kind-hearted cat to everyone even if the other cats were not nice to him. This one had a little bit different story then the original, but it was still an excellent film, not only for children but adults should enjoy this film as well as children. It is still a shame that this film and the original Peter-no-tail are not very well known.

Peter-No-Tail (1981)
A terrific film about a cat who felt as if he didn't belong
9 March 2004
Warning: Spoilers
(Possible Spoilers)

I saw this film years ago on the Disney Channel and I still have it on tape. I like this cartoon Peter no-tail was a cat from the country that was born without a tail who was adopted by a family in the city. Peter was a kind and caring cat who was teased and tormented by the other cats, especially Max, the town bully. It was kind of sad in a way but with good results. Max tried so hard to turn all the other cats against Peter, which worked for a while but each time Peter came out looking good and Max got made a fool of. 1st Max holds a dance along with a multiplication quiz in which Peter ends up being the winner. Then Max holds a cat Olympics that he tries to cheat in by making a heavy ball just for Peter to throw while he and everyone else use light weight balls, and giving Peter spike shoes to run in with spikes on the inside and finally in the race cheating by having cats at the side hold their tails down for Max as he passes and holding their tails up when Peter passes so Peter would trip and fall. However, at the end of the Olympics Max was disqualified and Peter was the winner and won the gold metal. Once again Max got made a fool of. So, Max tries one last time to get rid of Peter by trying to have a bulldog chase Peter back to the country. This is where Peter becomes a real hero to the other cats, he saves a kitten of one of the cats (Frida) from being attacked by the bulldog and just in time. After that All the other cats cheered for Peter and called him a hero while Max and his partners Bill and Bull get chased by the bulldog to the country. This film had a good moral to it, especially for children: Bullies don't win or come out good in the end nor do they ever win. Look what happened to Max. But throughout everything Peter always remained kind to everyone. It is a shame that this film is not well known because it is a cartoon that everyone at a young age should see. It is a wonderful cartoon.
