Factual errors: When the music video for the Power Station's cover of Get It On (Bang A Gong) was shown, the album it is from was incorrectly listed as "Electric Warrior." This song is actually from the Power Stations' self-titled album. (“Electric Warrior” is not a Power Station album, but rather a 'T. Rex (I)' album -- the band who performed the song originally.) moreFAQ

I can't quite work out why I love this show so much. Maybe it's because I remember seeing it for the first time when I was quite young and it was on late at night. Cartoons for adults seemed like a naughty treat back then, and I loved it. But, even a good few years later, I still giggle uncontrollably when I watch it. There's something about this show that makes it one of the sharpest animated series I've seen in a long while. Perhaps it's the sketchy animation? The lewd jokes? The fact that it's not that far off from reality? Who knows? In the end, I reckon that Beavis and Butt-head wasn't meant to be dissected and analysed. It was made to be funny and provide big laughs for a generation in desperate need of one. It never becomes tiresome or boring, even after watching it over and over. The guys can be pretty shocking at times, but what makes it all the more hilarious is just how real it seems. You'll catch yourself remembering jokes from an episode and laughing, and it's that lasting impression that makes it a great show. It's sorely missed, but if ever I need a quality comedy, I know where to turn.
