Murder on the Orient Express (1974)

After watching this and the modern version and the television series can safely say this is the worse I don't normally like remakes of classic films but can't believe this is deemed a classic

So many people say this is the definitive film but cannot see it. Assume scores were based on no other film to compare with

All of this is basically finney He is an awful poirot Walks around like a deformed goblin with the worse accent ever. Over acting isn't helping the situation either

The star studded cast really doesn't make the film either. Found the acting etc in the new version better and characters far more convincing.

The first episode though long did very much deal with the man and what his outside persona was Zany odd extrovert Doing charity work. Stoke Mandoville would not be the place it is without him.

That's the terrible irony that starts to give u the idea that he either did this to cover his perversion or was his way out of guilt.

2nd programme didn't seem to really go into his perversions and victims. The ones interviewed are so brave to do it but there story must be told. Upsetting as it was think more time given to them.

Didn't really go into what historical allergations were levelled At him in past.

Really should have got the police bbc to express Opinion

Ian hyslop didn't like his jokes And frankly looked appalled on have I got news for You. He didn't really say if he heard the rumours before that.

Vile Man who never got His just desserts.

Midway (2019)

Bad acting bad cgi

Battle scenes were almost like a video game. Not realistic.

The story of midway is an epic battle that potentially could have been a loss. The 1976 film least portrays this.

Found acting very poor and main character as a brash cocky person dire.

Forgets to mention the code breaker being sacked for what he did at end of film

As always To the men who fought in the battle There bravery and sacrifice should be remembered.

Hunting Hitler (2015–2020)

Hitler dies in bunker but was it suicide

Lot of the people in the bunker had very conflicting stories about hitlers death. I think this and the soviet unions secrecy etc did cause problems

Personally I think hitler was murdered as the conflicting information from the people who went into the room for the bodies doesn't add up.

Murdered to allow the breakout that then happened of other people in bunker to escape.

I think you have to realise that a lot of what they find is not about hitler but about possible escape routes.

Also we know South America and Argentina were not adverse to having Germans living there and they did get there somehow after the war

Glad s rambam wasn't in all Shows as he was so bad.

Better than thought

Firstly people giving low scores seem to be mainly Christian's and other folk who are quite happy for Comedy but not not on these subjects.

Shame

Think this was the better of all There movies. So what alien is rude etc. But typical Hollywood would have them prim and proper or they will eat you alive.

It's very apt now to heed the message in the program People being accused on social media and judged guilty and having to prove innocence rather than other way around.

Silence seen as guilt rather than any other reason.

What a great show to watch Has it all Job was a great character and scene stealer

Was good that they limited it to just 4 seasons rather than try and endlessly put bad seasons in.

The original professionals was good. Characters and stories etc

This is just bad The characters are just to wooden. There as stiff as can be. Edward Woodward obviously just wanted some money.

Catering to American audience no doubt by having an American actor but just doesn't work or both lead actors are useless

Strike back much better series and mix.

Bodyline (1984)

Aussie whinging to this day.

Let's be very honest here Leg theory at the time was an allowed method of bowling. There was no cheating.

Bradman was the finest batsman ever. Sorry tendulker. England came up with a plan to beat the man. Using some of the best fast bowlers ever they made use of leg theory.

Aussies lost. Should be end of story

At time it was deemed unsporting which just goes to show how effective it worked. Australia didn't employ it as they just didn't have the bowlers to do this.

The serious injury occurred during normal field positions but changed to add drama.

The saddest thing was that larwood took the blame for this and never played test cricket.

What a great movie A subject that is hard to watch and relevant even today

Shows never to late to Change and all sorts of people can. The now and the future are not the past so move on to better things

Unfunny Boring in places. Forgetful performances of most of the characters.

Really really poor. One for the chicks but most will feel written So badly that must be a mans revenge.

Spader outstanding

The show has been eroded by the keen story lines Done to death and is not interesting anymore

Go back to what people like best on This show. Either kill her off ASAP or get the writers to make It more interesting.

Have to say I thought this was pretty dire. I know some of the Godzilla films are old and cheesy but this was pretty stale I have heard there are sequels.

Brian donlevy seems to be drunk all of his scenes. Guess hard time
