From a heartbroken fan of the franchise...

I saw this movie last weekend and it has taken me until now to summon up the courage to write a review. I love the Terminator movies. I watched T1 on video until the tape wore out, and bought the DVD the second it was available. I watched T2 breathless with excitement and thought this was one of the best movies I've ever seen, and it just gets better each and every time I watch it (250 and counting). I watched T3 and thought "Meh, could have been worse".

Then I watched this steaming pile of donkey excrement, and wanted to cry myself to sleep at the desecration of a great franchise that has such a huge place in this movie-lovers heart. It's really, really bad. There is no plot - and I mean that, there is NO plot. The acting...well, there isn't any. Plot holes? I know it must seem nigh on impossible to have plot holes in a movie with no plot, but they're there all right.

I really am finding it hard to find the words to say just how bad this movie is. McG, I've never heard of you before but whoever you are, you should be ashamed.
