Jerry's Diary (1949)
7/10
Sometimes remembering the past makes you forget about some problems
2 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
MGM was at the top, its Short Films were the ones that won the Oscars and its cartoons are among the most Iconic Above cartoons like Woody Woodpecker, Looney Tunes or Mr Magoo, everything was perfect, but the lack of ideas always consumes the animators' minds at least once, and this was the case here.

Tom is about to set a trap for Jerry, but he listens to the Radio and they announce that it is the International day to take care of animals, Tom gets angry, but the Announcer with his Nice character manages to convince them to treat Jerry well, so He brings him A Cake and a Bouquet of flowers, but he realizes that Jerry is not there and snoops around his house finding Jerry's Personal Diary, Tom discreetly takes it and begins to read it, finding that Jerry was mocking behind his back, so in a fit of rage, upon Jerry's arrival, he smashes the Pie in his face.

The Idea is not entirely bad, the rehashes are of excellent shorts, but the problem is that there is no development and comedy, they are simply fragments of previous (and superior) short films while Tom reacts furiously to the end of each one.

The Animation of the short, as well as the Music, is decent, but these last two points are scarce, since 70% of the Short are Reruns, so they cannot be appreciated well, although I praise how well synchronized the scenes are and how They develop the short minimally, although the plot is not convincing at the end.

Finally I can say the following, the short is neither bad nor good, it lacks in development but it is strengthened in its good use of reruns to try to reach an ending, which is quite decent to tell the truth, but it is not entirely good, the Animation was quite good, as was its humor, which was somewhat lacking to tell the truth, but finally I can say that it is a decent short, it is not boring, but Comedy is scarce and it shows the Few ideas that they put into this work.

It's not entirely bad, but it's not good either, so a 7 is more than deserved.

When the Greed reaches its highest point
2 April 2023
After leaving Warner Bros, Avery got a job at MGM again directing Short Films, after several Characters like Screwy Squirrel and George and Junior, Avery learned what it takes to be funny after Dumb Hounded in 1943, where with a very simple plot she managed to entertain and funny, but the focus was not obtained by the Wolf who was the protagonist of that short, but by the Hound that appeared there, previously called Happy Hound.

Happy Hound (later renamed as Droopy) continued to appear in supporting roles until gaining the recognition he deserved in The Shot of Dan Mcgoo in 1945, so he got his own series of short films, where he was paired with many iconic MGM characters, Like the Wolf and the Little Red Riding Hood.

And after following a path full of success, Droopy reached its highest point with Wags to Riches, in the last year of the 40s, "we must close this decade well" Avery thought when creating this masterpiece, which I consider it one of his most important works and one of the best he directed.

Here he is paired with Butch (here called Spike) a Bulldog similar to Spike but with a Greedy and Treacherous Personality, who upon learning that his late owner left his entire fortune to his Housemate Droopy, is filled with anger and envy , and after reading a text that says "in the case of the death of the Droopy dog, all the money falls into Spike's possession" he takes the Initiative trying to assassinate him but failing in all his poor and miserable attempts.

The animation was glorious, MGM at its Highest Moments, attractive and well colored backgrounds, there is a great use of Smear Frames, which cause a more attractive and moderately fluid Animation, as well as exaggerated expressions, which fit the humor well.

The Music was good at best, once again praising Bradley I can just say it was well placed and a delight to the ears.

It really was a good short, it has a simple plot but it was charmingly done, it has relentless animation and a Humor on par with Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry, I think it's one of Droopy's best and it will still hold that position.

For all the above, this short gets a more than deserved 6, it's a joke, it's actually called a deserved 10! Congratulations to Avery and his team for this wonderful job.

An Interesting Confrontation between Woodpecker and a Cowboy
15 January 2023
Woody Woodpecker's Shorts from 1954-1972 are usually very Forgotten and little appreciated by Fans, in particular they seemed just as good to me as the Previous ones, and several had good plots, especially this one.

Here we have a Wandering Woody who by mere Chance manages to get a Bandit imprisoned, but he escapes from Prison to take revenge, but Woody will set him Various Traps and Gags in the process.

Animation reminds me of Depatie-Freleng, it's Minimalist but charming, Character Designs are Simple but still memorable, Backgrounds are short in detail but nicely colored and easily likable, Cowboy Design is Pretty Good and his Personality fits to the characters, The Background Music provided by Clarence Wheeler was decent and fits the mood and Dal Mckennon and Grace Stafford excelled as actors.

The Short had a good roll of funny Jokes, it has a new and well-implemented plot, its Characters are Easily Memorable and Woody is still funny as usual.

Recommended, but not entirely efficient, so I give it an 8.

Scat Cats (1957)
9/10
¡That's my Son!
8 January 2023
In this Return to the page, I would like to review Scat Cats from 1957, which I find quite curious for not having Tom and Jerry as stars and much less Tom as Mascot, that's right, a Short Film Starring Spyke and Tyke and with Butch as a pet at Home.

The Short is based on George and Joan spending the Night away, so they leave Spike and his son in charge of the home, but Butch, the New Pet calls his friends to have a party, but the Dogs will avoid all attempts to the Cats for that to happen.

MGM increasingly decreased its animation, now the focus was on making animations on a wide screen (Cinemascope) with limited and minimalist drawings with muted colors and with simpler and recycled animations, but that does not prevent the pleasant environment, the Animation even for the By the standards of that time it was very decent in my opinion (Compared to the animation that UPA, Universal and Warner Brothers had at the time it was impeccable), The character designs look smaller, but the backgrounds in cinemascope were very nice and cautiously colored.

Scott Bradley is still my idol, his music gives the feeling of fun that prevails in every MGM cartoon, cleverly placed, it's great and he attributes something to the fun in this cartoon.

Homer Brightman (coming from Disney and Walter Lantz Productions) may not have been well liked by MGM Fans, but his story was enjoyable, sensible and original, the jokes were cleverly placed, the Animation added too much to the music, the Voice acting was quite memorable and this animation reflects what in the future would be "Top Cat" by Hanna Barbera.

A great, no-nonsense cartoon, which is why I give it a 9.

Yeah, Sure, Save on the Play Ball Some, More...
9 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The Woody Woodpecker Cartoons produced by United Artist used to have the same charm as those produced in the old days at Universal, Lantz's Crazy Clampett-Style Humor was the Big Thing, and Humor is the main reason I recommend checking this cartoon.

Woody is expelled from the Local Park for Vagancia and after finding a newspaper in the Dump he finds out a news story. "Millionaire Wally Walrus is looking for a Baby" Woody doesn't miss the opportunity so he pretends to be a baby and then fights Walrus with a Returning Ball (like a Boomerang).

The Animation reminds me of the Looney Tunes in the late 40s, the drawings are Meticulously detailed and the backgrounds are nice and pleasant to look at, the expressions (part of the Humor here) are Funny and quite exaggerated.

The music is synchronized with the scenes to make them even funnier than they are, it's all about timing really.

Wacky Bye Baby may not be the Most Original of the Series, but it is quite an interesting and comical one, I enjoyed it a lot due to its humor and being a caricature of Woody Woodpecker in his golden age, fully recommending it.

An Insufferable Battle for Jerry
5 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Since T&J started, they were a controversial and fun duo, their Cartoons enjoyed the madness that you would expect from a Merrie Melodies directed by Clampett, their Humor based on Violence was what stood out the most and at the same time, what I like the most about the series, come on, violence is the key to success here, right?.

Tom the Cat seems to be having fun in the Old Way, Of course, in these times Cats still retain those areas of Laziness and Appetite that the ancients had, but nowadays a cat without the need of a mouse has fun, come on!, even with a stick and a Stone manages to have fun, and Tom is a clear example of this, with a Fishing Rod He makes his Adversary suffer, giving him the Opportunity to Flee and then pulling him to his location.

The Game does not last long, since Jerry gets rid of Tom and they chase each other, Jerry finds a Metthead Prototype and that's where the problems begin...

Both parts do not match, So Jerry plays with their Minds to Force them to Fight (In pretty rough ways by the way) to see who gets their Dominion, or well, Eats it.

The Plot is not as Interesting as Bill and Joe came up with, but their Execution was pretty good, it has some twists and enough funny scenes to be considered "Good", It has Exuberant Animation in the detail, The inclusion of a new character was somewhat more interesting and Methead takes advantage of some ways to make the comedy work, the music complements the action and coordinates very well with it, the humor is fun, and boy are you going to laugh.

In conclusion, it is not the Most Entertaining or the most Original, but despite its limits, it becomes fun in several ways.

Pinkologist (1978)
3/10
Basically the same as Pink-In, but with worse animation
31 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
After 1975 Depatie-Freleng Enterprises seemed to run out of ideas, each time the short films had less meaning and took more surreal routes and plots, the fact that the animation faded more and more did not help, but after 1978 the series went downhill, with very bad shorts, boring, unfunny and entirely made for greed, Animation became more rudimentary and minimalist than it already was, and it doesn't help that Friz Freleng and David H Depatie were in Production, they couldn't do anything.

I hate Clip Shows, they were never a good way to keep a series alive, they just used to be Filler episodes in their Respective series, although there were some good ones in the past, Jerry's Diary and Smarty Cat are an example, and that's because They were not entirely based on being Clip shows, but they showed a plot while the Images were processed, but not here, they are simply Repetitions of good cartoons from the past.

The Plot could have led to Something Mildly Funny if handled well, White Man goes to the Psychologist and tries to take out his Traumas with the Panther, but The Pink Panther Itself was the one who was right there listening to the Therapy, maybe as another Critic said, if they had tricking the White Man into doing things that would supposedly help him would have been an easy way forward, but it wasn't, they show a lot of Stock Images with filters applied and Music Changed, this time really bad, with little enthusiasm and fun, even Walter Greene was a better composer, but continuing, Finally all this ends with the Panther Coming Out of a Box and that's it!, one of the most disappointing endings that this good series could have given us.

There is not much to say about it, maybe if the plot had been handled better and they had left the winged clip shows (Or even using some could have helped to progress the plot, but of course, without abusing them) it could have been better, really I don't recommend watching them unless you want to remember some Good Moments from the series (With Worst Music and Filters applied by the way).

Shocking Pink (1965)
8/10
¿You're a Collector... Firearm?
18 October 2022
During its Beginnings, Pinky showed his simplistic but effective Humorous Skills, even a simple situation like going down a ladder became somewhat hilarious here, Shocking Pink although a little different, it was quite effective for me to laugh, and come on, a little variation to Sometimes it doesn't go bad, right?.

Here an Annoying Narrator torments Pinky so that she stops slacking off, she herself gets angry every time she is given orders, but finally she decides to get to work in her little attended house, in which she fixes some errors but with devastating results for our Panther.

Of course, some jokes are present, like the one about the Ladder and the spotlight (which was quite funny in my opinion) and also the multiple mistakes of the panther are funny in my opinion, of course, not everything is perfect, the cartoon is not It has the best rhythm that we can say, it starts slowly and continues with a moderately moderate rhythm, although that is not saying much.

The Animation is clearly simplistic, the drawings do not attract much attention but they are pleasant to look at, the animation is quite good, it is fluid and coordinates very well with the sound.

As usual in the First Pinky shorts, the main theme of the series is not repeated endlessly, but rather, variations of it accompanied by original music composed by Bill Lava, this does not work at all but the Jazz Rhythm of the music is very nice.

In itself, Shocking Pink is not the best that the series can offer, it is not very good in terms of Rhythm but it makes up for it with some laughs along the way, the Jazz Style Music, and the Good Animation help to favor entertainment, in conclusion, fun despite its faults.

For everything I said above, Shocking Pink gets an 8.

A single joke makes this relevant
10 October 2022
Come on Academy, you could have chosen some of the masterpieces that were produced that year, but no! This time they wanted to see the world burn and chose this crap as a worthy Short Film to be the Oscar winner.

This is the most Undeserved Oscar I've ever seen, it's only 2 Miserable minutes of terribly simplistic animation (although a little better than UPA) accompanied by an Awful voice acting that made my ears cry, The short is based on a single Joke, The Woman buys a Bird and it bites her Husband's Buttocks!.

Seriously, how did they get to nominate this Filth, Crap, Nastiness, Degradation, Garbage, Slop, Diarrhea, Stupidity and Sillyness for Oscars?.

Simply unnecessary
9 October 2022
Come on, on YouTube you can do what you want, search for the material that stupefies you as long as you know how to read, thousands and thousands of videos are on that page, but there are some "Trolls" who want to see the world burn, melt until only a layer of dry sand remains in the Galaxy, people who without hesitation would kick a grandfather in the balls, insufferable people who just want to see you die, dismembered by a pack of lions, and that's how it was... of course!, the most amazing video length of youtube, 596 hours.

Simply... Incredible, they should make the one I believe in this video the president of Somalia so that he ends his bloody civil war and gives money to the entire Middle East, who dances samba on the coast of Australia while a camel shoots money with an ak47, that he has a Bughatti and travels through the 31 States of Mexico and returns to Somalia where he travels through its entire capital throwing money in the streets, that they make him president of the UN, he himself will decide the World Destiny.

Come on bro, what were you thinking when you made this video?

Completely Abysmal
8 October 2022
UPA was one of the Animation Producers with the most Oscar Nominations during the 20th Century and all its nominations and victories were unfair! It was made up of Ex-Disney Animators who barely had drawing skills, and this is represented in a large part of his cartoons.

In this Vague and Horrendous adaptation of the Dr Seuss Tale we see Gerald Emitting again and again a terribly synthesized "Boing" every 20 Seconds, there is no magic here, the backgrounds are simple flat colors and without Grace accompanied by Minimalist Drawings and flawed voice acting, the most salvageable would be the music, although that's not saying much.

While MGM, Disney and Warner Brothers produced Cartoons With an exuberant Quality, UPA produced an Animation at the equivalent of 5 Dollars, Miserable backgrounds with Flat Colors and abysmal character designs, these won Oscars and forgot about the others, being Positioned as the "Ninth Best Cartoon of All Time" and having won an Oscar I had a little hope, but seeing that UPA produced Cheap and Bazofic Animation I completely lost hope in this cartoon, and so it was, a complete disappointment.

In itself, a Brilliant Book adapted in the worst way and infernally overrated, whoever thinks Gerald Mcboing Boing is good, must be under the influence of drugs.

Pink Pajamas (1964)
10/10
a Surreal Sequel to The Pink Phink but Effective and Hilarious
8 October 2022
After the unsurpassed success of the Oscar Winner "The Pink Phink" Freleng and his Colleague Depatie continued the series and this time with a cartoon that took a more Surreal direction but also worked.

This time the Pink Panther is at dawn, completely awake and dying, after being kicked out of a Terrible Bad Death Shelter, he finds a key and a mysterious door suddenly appears, he takes the house as his Property but what the panther does not know is that the Owner has already arrived and a game of cat and mouse occurs, both torment each other but neither knows of the presence of the other.

The Animation is very Simplistic, not reaching the Border of the Ugly and Minimalist, but really the drawings are not a big deal, but really the artistic style is what draws the attention of this cartoon, the way of coloring the backgrounds is worthy of Leonardo Da Vinci, the Animation is Simplistic but Fluid and Magnificent at the same time, the drawings are not great as I said but that artistic style draws attention and the colors are beautiful and combine well with the Strange and Surreal style in which Caricature is based.

The Music is Really Good, It has a Peculiar Jazz Style very much on a par with Musicians like Henry Mancini or Lalo Schifrin, William Lava offers a very catchy background music and the classic Pink Panther Theme I will never get tired of listening to.

Just like The Pink Phink, Pink Pajamas offers a simplistic but nice art style, their Jazz Style Music is Relaxing and makes the Cartoon progress, their Mute sense of humor with Some Touches of Surrealism add a lot and make it a cartoon completely enjoyable.

Even the Coffee can't help the Dream of Tom!
7 October 2022
I usually see this cartoon and others that are set at night for one reason only, at this time the detail is more appreciated and the night backgrounds do not damage the eyes so much, but the cartoon is really very simplistic in its concept , although the Execution was quite good and has enough gags to be hilarious.

Tom, after having spent the whole afternoon with his Friends, arrives at the House exhausted to the point that he cannot take a step without falling, Mammy (a bit mean this time) forces Tom to stay awake and take care of the Mice's house, but Tom can't help but fall asleep, so Jerry takes the opportunity to torment his adversary!.

The Plot is Simple and you can devise and execute it in 5 minutes, there is nothing Really amazing about the writing, but the Execution was what led this cartoon to become one of my favorites of the Tom and Jerry produced in the 50s , it has a steady pace and the gags are executed quickly (but not so fast that they are unexpected and unfunny) but are executed boldly and with a great deal of humor, as another reviewer said, this is a cartoon one joke, but it really is funny.

The Animation was completely Excellent, the Night Backgrounds were pleasant to look at, the house is very well drawn and the design of Tom and Jerry (including Mammy's) is certainly nice and classic, it also helps that the movements look fluid and with great attention to detail (backgrounds have that too) but all in all, Tom and Jerry at their Really Best.

The Music is Fun, Calming and Calm, Never Terrible, It is Relaxing and occasionally gets fast and energetic, but usually has a calm and normal rhythm, it is pleasant enough to listen to and enjoy, another effort well done from Scott Bradley!.

It may not be the most Original or the best of the duo, but it is really captivating and energetic to the point of being considered a classic, a good cartoon, it has good Animation and music, it also has enough gags to be entertaining, don't expect a slow pace, everything happens fast!, but not to the point of being rushed.

Sleepy Time Tom is a Good Cartoon, it has a simple but well-executed premise, it really does not disappoint and easily entertains, it is not boring and much less Bad, it is an excellent cartoon to enjoy at night (it would not be so interesting during the day) but inside All in all, highly recommended.

For everything I said before, this cartoon gets a deserved 10.

Tom the Castaway
27 September 2022
During the 50s, Tom and Jerry were at the height of their success, competing with Disney and Warner Brothers, and even their Shorts are rated higher than Disney's Silly Symphonies! But like Warner Brothers, this Cartoon was not spared. Contain Racial stereotypes, examples are Many, Casanova Cat (1950), The Little Orphan (1949) and The Truce Hurts (1948), Although those cartoons were great, Stereotypes are still a bad quality.

In 1951 His Mouse Friday was released, a Cartoon where Tom experiences a Shipwreck and finds himself without Food (Even to end his Hunger he had to Eat his Own Shoe), but he sees an Island in the Distance, so a Wave with Shape of Hand Throws it there, right there it tries to look for food but fails in the attempt, then Jerry appears and that's where the fun begins!.

As in The Million Dollar Cat (1944), Mouse In Manhattan (1945) or Salt Water Tabby (1947) We explore a different environment, in this case a Desert Island in the middle of Nowhere (possibly located in Oceania) The Island It was very well Represented and Drawn we see some beautiful Places and a Little of the Wild Fauna, although its environment is not very well used, it is enjoyable to see the duo in a Different Location.

The Animation is Glorious, MGM in its Pure state really, the Colors are Really Beautiful and the Landscape is perfectly drawn, Both Tom and Jerry (as well as the Turtle and the Indians) are well drawn and although in the case of the Indians they look too Offensive, certainly its Design is not as Monstrous as the African Americans in "Scrub me Mama with a Boogie Beat", The detail is everywhere, I am impressed by the visual Quality of the Cartoon, it is certainly Excellent and the Movements are So Fluid that They make my Eyes Shine with Impression.

Scott Bradley does not disappoint here, His Music (especially the one at the beginning) is Certainly Depressing but then he picks up a Little Better Rhythm, becomes Frantic and fun as always, Of course, It is Well Implemented and plays well with the Sound and the Animation.

His Mouse Friday can be considered Racist, and obviously it is, but I really feel that this cartoon is very Underrated, It has funny scenes and the Pacing is decent, the Biggest Problem is the Indigenous People Obviously, but other than that it is a Decent Cartoon of the Duo.

In itself, His Mouse Friday is a Good Cartoon of the Duo, it has good Gags (especially the Pan) and the Animation and Music play in its favor, the Detail is everywhere and it is Impossible Not to Marvel at the Animation and Backgrounds , has some stereotypes but if you ignore them it is impossible not to laugh at the cartoon, the environment also plays in its favor making it not feel so repetitive, of course, it was wasted but what they did in it was more than interesting.

In itself, Despite being Clearly Racist, I thought it was decent enough to rate it an 8.

A Great Journey through the Different Ecosystems of the United States
24 September 2022
This Cartoon always seemed Interesting to me, it has a different Premise and still maintains Avery's Classic Humor, it shows us a journey through the different Ecosystems of the United States while some Gags Take effect, This Cartoon also stands out from the rest due to its Longer Than Usual Duration, Which is almost 10 Minutes, but the whole Cartoon is really enjoyable and stands out from the rest.

We see various places in the United States, some Husky Dogs in Alaska, a tourist in the Grand Canyon and some Rangers in California, all beautifully drawn while there are many scenes worthy of laughter.

The Animation is Incredible, it is Warner Bros Animation in its purest form, even to the degree of Disney, Avery's style is present at every moment and the Landscapes are Beautiful and the Attention to Detail is Maximum.

There are also Good Musical Moments, The Iguana Creating a New Layer of Skin (in a sexy way to make people laugh obviously) and one or another well-implemented scene, the Music is Well Placed and does not Fail (Carl Stalling never fails as usual).

I found it to be an Interesting Cartoon, it has a different plot and the Gags are also Innovative, The Exquisite Animation and the crazy Humor make this cartoon quite fun to watch and you won't be disappointed in the process.

Now my Final Verdict, Cross Country Detours tells in a Funny Way about the Landscapes of the United States while there are Quirky and Exuberantly Funny Gags (Like the Frog Killing Himself and the Running Ranger) It has a Good Animation and possibly, you will not be disappointed.

For everything I said above, This Cartoon gets a 9.

Completely Unnecessary
18 September 2022
Psycho is the Most Famous and one of my Favorites of the Hitchcook Movies, this version only slows it down to 2 frames per second instead of the usual 24, which makes this movie last 24 hours, a whole day!, but the Question is, what the hell did they do this for?, no idea, I just know that a British Artist decided to do this for fun, and that's it!, Psycho Slowed Down with a Minimum amount of Frames and most probably never you finish watching this, and that happened to me, I haven't even seen this version, since it's only a matter of having seen Psycho, that is, the Normal Version, to know how rubbish this Version is, honestly, this most likely has been done by experiment since for Cinematographic Purposes it is Impossible, a Work done solely for experimenting.

Another Video from Classic YouTube
17 September 2022
Dross in its beginnings was not the Terror channel that we all know, it was a channel with a black and immature humor in which Dross himself played video games, and always ended up getting angry, that was the magic of his videos, in this video we see it play the "Hardest Game in the World" A popular game from the late 2000s that was incredibly frustrating, Dross thought it would be an easy game, but wow, the roles were reversed!

And that's it, a simple but entertaining classic YouTube video, a perfect example of late 2000s Comedy and a great look into the current times, interesting that this is still hilarious 13 years later.

"The Fastest Trap in the West"
17 September 2022
This episode of Tom and Jerry was originally intended to be a Cowboy Cartoon starring Sylvester and Speedy Gonzalez directed by Robert Mckimson, Mckimson rejected Tedd Pierce's script so he decided to sell his script to other people and this fell into Hands of Gene Deitch who turned it into a slightly strange Caricature of the duo.

Sure, being Produced in the Cold Steppes of Former Czechoslovakia, this one has a lot of animation glitches and surreal sound effects straight out of hell, but really Plot and Execution wise, it's much better than other cartoons from this was.

In a stereotypical Old West Town, a Salesman, tired of Jerry stealing cheese from his store, talks to the Sheriff and yells at him to get someone to do the job of catching Jerry, so soon Tom arrives, an "Avil" Mousecatcher who fails miserably at his task and ends up being kicked out of town.

The Animation Quality is Abysmal, the Backgrounds are Scarce and there is little detail in them, the Movements are Brusque and too Spasmodic to be considered "Fluid" the Character Designs are somewhat Gloomy, especially that of the Sheriff and the personality of The Same is Cold, nasty and they are just a filler since they practically do nothing in the Cartoon, Jerry is a little different since due to the script where he was supposed to be Speedy, he behaves a little differently and is less petty than in other cartoons, but as I said, the Animation is certainly Abysmal in Quality and the Detail is Obsolete in the cartoon.

The Music is Quite Generic, I didn't like it Much, although those Guitar touches in the Chases are more or less good, they sound too Generic and out of place, the fact that Tom and Jerry are there doesn't help, The Music doesn't have much coherence and does not fit very well in the tone of the cartoon.

In itself, Tall In the Trap is a quite Acceptable Cartoon despite its errors, of course, it has Bad Animation and Generic Music but in terms of script and execution it is quite good, the Violence is no longer so exaggerated but it is still a little elevated, I liked some scenes like the Duel between tom and jerry and the Stairs Scene, it has some good gags in there and in general, it is not a bad cartoon.

What did these Chinese think when creating this series?
16 September 2022
Gumball was an excellent program, it had good characters, stories and episodes, but you know how the Chinese are, always looking for something to Plagiarize, in this case they made a Copy of such Doubtful Quality that even the Original Gumball Program itself made them a Episode!, this series is really not worth watching and directly watch the Gumball episode, I already tell you that it is a complete waste to watch this cheap Chinese scam!.

By the way, it should be clarified that this program only had 2 miserable episodes, all equally bad and with terrible plots, luckily the original Gumball show managed to be successful instead of this bad program, congratulations Gumball!.

A Bad Copy of a Bad Program
16 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I hate Peppa Pig, it's a generic and unfunny show that only works to distract Kids, this Pathetic Vietnamese copy of the aforementioned show is Even More Ridiculous and Absurd than the Original.

Here we see an Ugly and poorly Designed Wolf who lives adventures with Stories not stolen from Peppa Pig, the plots are laughable and more the lousy Animation that it has made me laugh out loud but not because the program is funny, it is so bad that it is funny.

Tip Number 1 To Create a Copy of a Show, DON'T MAKE A COPY OF A BAD SHOW, seriously, who would want to create a copy of a lousy show? I'd rather easily make a Copy of the Simpsons or the Looney Tunes than this, I think I'm not expressing myself in the best way but certainly with my comments you should find out about the mediocrity of this "caricature".

Anyway, a Bad Show destined to be a successful Plagiarism of a Bad Show that is even better than this, but whatever, the Vietnamese are always Interesting.

What the hell?

Columbia Pictures from the mid-30s began to produce animation, many of these cartoons were interesting or at least entertaining, in the late 40s the Company threw all the concepts of Animation in the Trash and began to launch cartoons with little attention to the detail, lousy backgrounds and animation and simplistic and horrendous character designs, Unfortunately this type of limited animation led to the creation of one of the characters that I least understand his success, Mr Magoo, a bitter and rich blind old man who had adventures of everything less fun, for some reason the Academy decided to Forget the Big Animation Producers like Disney, Universal, MGM and Warner Brothers to Reward and Nominate these Audiovisual Garbage, this shows that the Academy did not nominate stupid things recently, they have always nominated aberrations to the Oscars!.

This is a clear Example on how NOT to make a cartoon, we see the Arrogant Mr Magoo being scammed by a Car Dealer of dubious Quality and instead of paying attention to his nephew he falls into the Trap and uses an obsolete gadget that does not make him more than cause a lot of Boring Situations and without a bit of sense.

The Animation is Even Worse than the Disastrous Tom and Jerry Cartoons produced in Czechoslovakia in the early 60's, It's too Simplistic, Horrendous and Ugly that it made my Eyes Water, the colors are Ugly, Static and Mediocre and they look terrible on the environment, the Animation is too Limited, it almost seems that they produced it with 5 Dollars, the movements are Pale and there is almost no movement, it has very Few Frames and it shows that they did not put any effort at all!.

Luckily the Great Dean Elliot (who would later work with Chuck Jones at MGM) offers an Acceptable music, it is certainly not very good, but it is superior to the terrible Animation that this cartoon has.

I hate the voice acting in this cartoon, it's Low Quality and Poor Daws Butler couldn't even act well due to the Low Budget of this Hogwash, I find Magoo's Voice Irritating, his Screams and moans are unbearable and they do nothing but my ears bleed!.

This is complete hogwash, complete disgust that damages the name of Columbia Pictures and especially that of the Oscars, the person who decided that MGM, Warner Bros and Disney were more of the bunch and chose this crap as the winner of the oscar should have been under the influence of drugs really, I don't like the horrendous animation that this cartoon has, in fact, "When Magoo's Flew" from 1953 is even better cartoon than this, but really that's not saying much since it's also an abomination.

In itself, This is an Oscar winning Bad Cartoon, I did not think that the Academy was so stupid to Nominate and Even give the Award to this mediocre Cartoon!, honestly I prefer a thousand times to see the Scary Tom and Jerry Cartoons produced by Filmation in the middle of the 80s, that this crap without grace and meaning.

One more Discovery Channel Program and a very entertaining one!.

Discovery Channel enjoys Quality Programs, it is one of my favorite TV Channels and it never disappoints, it has excellent programs and they are all interesting and entertaining to watch.

This program tells us about the Rivers of Africa in a Quite Interesting way, we see various landscapes and the beautiful African fauna, we also see some interesting places and animals and the tone of this program is certainly pleasant and entertaining.

I thought it was a good program, it is entertaining and interesting, it has excellent narration and it is 100% healthy and educational entertainment.

Meh
15 September 2022
When I saw this on TV I was a bit disappointed, there are not too many good nominations, while the rest of the show contains hellish filler, if you want to get excited you should see 300 or Ben Hur, here there is only Boredom and disappointment.

Again there are Boring Nominations and some didn't deserve it, some probably did but I think this show had bad decisions.

I actually watched this out of boredom, if I wasn't drawing or doing something else at the time, what a surprise I was when I realized this was just another boring show.

The best thing I can say about this show is that it doesn't contain scenes that drag on into eternity and ridiculous musical moments.

I'm throwin' away a million dollars... BUT I'M HAPPY!
14 September 2022
Tom and Jerry is a complete Classic and the Best Cartoon I have seen in my life, "The Million Dollar Cat" is a complete classic and possibly the Best Cartoon of the duo, I am not lying when I tell you that it is Excellent, surpassing Most of the Disney and Warner Brothers cartoons of the time.

The Story is quite good, Although not original enough to be considered its own, but ideally it has a good plot development, the Cartoon focuses on Tom, who is Surprised while Playing William Tell darts with Jerry, a Telegram arrives where Tom is told that if Eccentric Aunt Harriet has given him One Million Dollars!, But the Happiness does not last long when he reads that one of the conditions to keep the Money is "Not to Harm Any Living Being Again" so Tom has to resist the urge to beat Jerry.

After that we see Tom suffer in a thousand and one ways while Jerry has an incredible time, then Tom is fed up that Jerry is really enjoying the money instead of him, he decides to destroy the Telegram and return to his normal attitude with the Mythic Phrase "I'm throwin' away a Million Dollars... BUT I'M HAPPY!".

Tom is Possibly the most outstanding character here, After receiving the Million Dollars he fills himself with luxuries, bathes in Milk and has Exceptional Banquets, although Jerry gives him an infernal Torment to the point that Tom tried to burn down the Bathroom Door to finish with Jerry, but other than that, Tom is the character you're going to sympathize with the most in the cartoon.

One of the main attractions of the cartoon is the splendid animation that it has, both the House and the Exterior are Perfect, the city looks Beautiful as well as Tom's Car, the Movements are fluid and although the Designs of the Characters They are still somewhat rough, they are a great advance and they are becoming what they would be in the future.

The Music is Completely elegant and frenetic, first Tom Playing Darts a la William Tell and then Tom celebrating having won a lot of money, there are too many good scenes that would not be the same without the music, likewise, many MGM cartoons would not be the same without Scott Bradley really.

One of the things that I like the most about The Million Dollar Cat, was that it explores other environments, we are not in the Typical Rural House of Mammy Two Shoes, now we are in a more Urban environment (Possibly Chicago or New York) We see some Urban shots making this cartoon stand apart from the rest, these same Ideas would be Perfectly Implemented a Couple of Years Later with the Excellent, Mouse In Manhattan (1945), but continuing the theme, it's Interesting and cool to see the duo in a different setting to the usual.

The Cartoon itself, in addition to its Good qualities, expresses an Incredible Message and although quite well known, it expresses it in a good way, We see Persevering Tom suffer due to not being able to fight Jerry, we see him desperate and endure all that Torment until he simply explodes destroying the telegram and voluntarily rejecting the Money, therefore, we see that Tom really did not need the money to be happy and the only thing he needed was to do what he liked!.

The Million Dollar Cat is Possibly the Best Cartoon I've seen of the Cat and Mouse Duo and that's Too Much, I never decided which was the Best but I think this is one of those chosen for that position, but as I said, a complete classic which is basically Perfection reflected in a Cartoon, Animation is Brilliant even beating Disney, Music is elegant and fun as ever and adds a lot to the cartoon, Story is a Great Improvement over previous Cartoons and You can see a better job in the Script, Bill and Joe apply several Gags that really work and the Cartoon itself is Basically Perfect.

For everything I've said above, The Million Dollar Cat gets an incredibly deserved 10.

The Zoot Cat (1944)
10/10
It's time to Modernize Thomas!
14 September 2022
Reasons to Call this Cartoon "Infernally Funny despite its Problems" are many, The Zoot Cat premiered at the height of the Zoot Suit, a baggy suit which became popular in the mid-30s in the Mexican, Filipino, African, Japanese and Italian Population in the United States, of course, Tom and Jerry taking advantage of a bit of the Pop Culture of the Late 30s decided to mix all that with a bit of good comedy!

Something that I always loved about this series was when Tom played the Hunk trying to conquer the Girls! It always seemed like a good way to do comedy and, at the same time, take advantage of Tom's Nobility by giving Jerry a bad time.

As is not to be expected from an Early 40s Cartoon, the Characters Smoke and beat each other in brutal ways, there are many customs and they mix 30s pop culture in an interesting way, Thw Brown kitten is a Typical Teenager from the Late 40s. The 30s who always pays attention to fashion while poor Tom, an adult Cat with the Personality of someone in his twenties, decides to win her over by cutting down the Hammock outside the house to turn it into a Zoot Suit.

The Animation is Luxurious and lushly detailed, of course, there is quite a bit of detail both inside and out, the backgrounds are too well drawn, even rivaling Disney in Quality, the Character Designs are clearly impressive and the Movements are incredibly fluid.

Scott Bradley offers an Excellent and a little Stereotyped Music that fits in the Frantic-Romantic atmosphere of the cartoon, a couple of dances and action must be accompanied by good music clearly!.

Mixing the Pop Culture of the Time with Tom and Jerry was something strange, but you know how crazy Bill and Joe were, they always put everyone in their cartoons!.

In itself, Zoot Cat is a complete Tom and Jerry Classic and shows the Magic of MGM in its Maximum splendor, the Animation is brilliant as well as the music, there are several references to the pop culture of the time and it is interesting if you see it in another way, but it is still a complete classic that should be respected and valued for what it is!.

In itself, Zoot Cat gets a Deserved 10.
