Well it was bound to happen...

Warning: Spoilers
I guess for the show to come full circle they had to end it as they did. I'm glad revenge was had. The show ended tho as if there was a spinoff that could be called Atlas or whatever they changed the name to. I think the premise is a good idea for a new show. Kind of like NBCs Taken final season, secret off books missions etc. Shadow govt agency for good. Overall I really enjoyed the show. I saved the episodes as they aired & always binged each season. It was like a long mini series that way. There's a lot of characters & plot points to remember each week so I like to binge these types of shows.

[8.6] Hurriedly packed up

A very dramatic episode with good storyline, thrilling action sequences, amazing VFX, fitting score and a deserving ending.

Bob Lee tried so hard to save all angles of his life and for that he can't be praised enough.

Great Season Finale
Avid_Movie_Viewer15 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The episode was great. The team finished finished off Atlas, took out Red Bama, and got rid of Swagger's wife. Her character was awful from the beginning. She vacillated between support for Bob Lee and hating Bob Lee. This series doesn't need that personal life nonsense. It's dead air each episode.

Really? This is the worst ending!

Warning: Spoilers
Your showing us the fight and survival of the family and then you kill Julie? Who wrote that? Did you even watch the crap that you wrote? This is the worst ending after showing the loving family and values.

Love the show but come on!!!

(Spoilers) Like why.... Julie was the best. I'd rather Bob Lee get shot than Julie! Mouse needs her mom over her hardly present dad. The writers definitely should not have done that.

Show is a 10/10 and everything about this last episode was great but killing off Julie takes it straight to a 1/10. Lame!

ACTION PACKED EPISODE! And then the ending...
sunny842029 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed this entire series up to this episode. It was action packed and kept me on my seat until the moment a bullet went through Swagger's wife from a long range shot by the guy who owns BAMA. Even after surviving an attack of mercenaries with assault rifles and grenade launchers. I honestly feel that the writers/producers had to wrap the show up and this is the end result. Rushed, and very disappointing.

I don't typically take the time to make a review because I genuinely believe it's pointless... However, when you take a pretty good show and pull a Game of Thrones, it must be noted.

If Swagger's wife survived, then I would've given this episode 10 stars. The fact the writers made his wife, Julie, go through such a great character arch just to be killed in the last 5 minutes is just plain awful. It's NOT like a, "OH MY GOD, No Way!" reaction. Instead, it's more of a, "Really. That was dumb," reaction.

Show is 10 out of 10 but ...
roshanstreak28 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I loved this show from the beginning to the end. Every part of it was enjoyable until the moment Julie Swagger was put down. Bob lee had gone through a lot of things to make sure his family was safe from the beginning. The least he deserved was to have a happy family towards the end which he and his entire family needed. This is like showing if one goes and peruses his dream and ambition he will have a big back drop in his life, that shows a negative aspect which i didn't expect towards Bob Lee. Now in the upcoming seasons there will be a missing part in Bob Lee's life, that is love. The chemistry they both had was truly wonderful. I hope you guys fill it because that was an important part of this show. It gave his soul the fire to burst out the right way. I understand it was necessary to kill Julie because then how will he go back to the person he was. The future seasons need to have him in missions, right? Like Bob Lee says, there is always a way!

Very Disappointing!
ronwoolley11 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It's February of 2023, and I just finished watching every episode. The last episode of series 3 made no sense. Killing Julie after surviving literally everything else was a disappointment to watch. I can understand entertaining an audience, but this was alienating a fan base, and that is breaking the cardinal rule of making a tv series.

The network should have decided by the end of series 3 if the show would be cancelled, or the series would continue. If cancelled than at the least make it a happily ever after. The last part of the series was badly written. Making Bob Lee and Julie on the verge of divorcing, if the series continued put the future writing in a corner, which should have never happened.

With Julie threatening divorce, how could Bob Lee do any future jobs or missions without breaking up the family? This made it impossible to continue the chemistry between them that was an intriguing part of the series.

All I can say is great job to Mark Walberg, the rest of the producers, and the Network for either directing or allowing the writers to make such a disappointing ending to a great series.

30 hours I'll never get back!
amir-718016 May 2023
What that ending demonstrated, was nothing short of contempt for audiences of this show who had invested literally days in a storyline and character arc, to literally have it shredded in the last ten minutes. I have seen some crappy endings in my lifetime of movies but this one takes the prize.

I understand that there are some viewers that get some kind of melancholic thrill from a tragic ending to a story, but let's be honest, this show is no soaring epic, its a shoot-em-up action series that by it's nature, would lead 9/10 viewers to expect the young family, around which the entire show was built, to eventually have their struggles repaid with a happy ending.

Instead, the producers flattered themselves into thinking they had created some kind of epic saga that demanded a deep and tragic conclusion.

As another reviewer said, this ain't no Game of Thrones, get over yourselves, and thanks for nothing. If you're reading this and have just started watching the series, stop now, unless you enjoy massive disappointments.

Fantastic series totally ruined by ridiculous sad ending
richardtravers-9503111 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I loved this entire 3 season show, right up the the ending of the final episode, which was needlessly sad and when you really think about it, actually made no sense.

So OK, Red decided not to let things go, accept defeat and move on with his life. That being the case, as an expert sniper himself and wanting to feel the sweet smell of the kill, why pay 100k to hire a South American hit man?

Having done that, does he then sit back and await the benefits of paying all that money?

No, he still puts on his sniper gear and waits for his expert hitman to mess up.

Then he misses Bob Lee, the only threat to him, kills Julie instead and then heads off the Canada thinking job done.

The very final scene of Bob Lee eventually putting a sniper bullet in Red's head is the only thing that made sense, But this should have happened without the pointless, senseless and ridiculous sniper death of Julie.

Clearly the writer's wanted to go for a shock ending, but it made no sense and ruined a fantastic show.

SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!
