After last week's episode, I thought they were going to kill Kira as a catalyst between Helena and Sarah. It would have been a cheap move, and wouldn't have had the gut punch they would have been expecting. Luckily, they didn't go down that route. Also, they don't just save Kira's life in some unbelievable way, they set it up as a plot thread. I thought that it was overall a really great way to handle it.
After that, the episode just continues to get better and better. Alison is confronted about her recent behavior in an intervention style meeting, and she ends up having a rant that reminded me a lot of Tyrion's trial from Game Of Thrones. It was a great performance moment from Tatiana Maslany.
Speaking of which, the situation between Cosima and Delphine reaches a head. This was a painful scene, but I still think that this is the weakest story thread overall. The police finally put the pieces together. Tensions between Sarah, Helena, and the warring religious and scientific organizations continue to rise. It looks like everything is coming to a head next episode.
