Keep the writers' fecundity going!

Seems like the series has struck a gold vein as far as storylines go. The romantic tension is set up; the police commisioner has laid bare the soul of the family and thus also the other trajectories of future stories; the race tension is set on the table. These are the examples why I look forward to watching the coming episodes. Good stuff, Maynard!

Worth watching but you need to develop taste for it...

At first I must admit that I was bit disappointed to see racial streaks emerged between Erin and her boss. I gave one less star because I don't even like to watch people politicized their race to gain upper hand. Rest is the best part and always enjoyable. Slowly but definitely relation between Baez and Danny is reaching towards a point which we all wish to see. Rarely we see Baez in different outfit and she looks so attractive. She is in trouble this time and of course Danny is there to rescue her.

But that comes with the cost...

Update these cast listings to be ready when the episode airs!

It's frustrating not to be able to identify the actors. (My star rating is irrelevant; it was necessary to post this.)

And Another One
dskaff27 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Are there any people in TV land that aren't cowards? WOKE has hit Blue Bloods as well. Why is it that when a show is flying high, doing well, gratifying to watch, they have bring in a character that is there to upset the apple cart? To make viewers mad. Why can't we just watch a show for simple and enjoyable entertainment? Specifically the new DA openly admits she got her job partially based on race. And then not only flaunts it, but uses it to flex her muscles. It's bad enough that the people we elect are above the law and cheat at every corner without repercussion, but we now have it in fantasy entertainment world as well. Sad!

Enough already with bad bosses
spikeluvr31 March 2021
Even though the rest of the show was interesting I am sick to death of the trite storyline of Erin working for various DAs who are either corrupt, arrogant or incompetent. We've seen one after another putting obstacles in her way. The latest one is there to prove the writers are sensitive to the issue of race in the workplace. But why Erin? Does no one else have a bad boss? How about spreading the misery around?

Jamko storyline could've been better
dchznv10 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Jamko (or really Jamie's) scenes are what I look forward to in every episode. This one though was a huge let down. Eddie once again has put Jamie in a tough spot, partially due to her lying, again, about her activities. She made the argument personal, and she shouldn't be in the position she is because of conflict of interest. The fact that Jamie won the conflict, but then bowed to her anyway drives me nuts! She needs to learn at some point that yelling and whining about something isn't always going to work! Especially when it's her husband she's whining too. Honestly, I agreed with Jamie's stance, and Eddie should have to live with the consequences of her lying to Jamie about her position in the union. Like the consequence of realizing she really shouldn't have ignored his very educated advice, and that hiding and lying about it only made things worse. I know everyone always says that we shouldn't hate on Eddie because bossy and opinionated is Jamie's canonical type, but there is a point when bossy and opinionated turns into egotistical and controlling. Eddie hasn't matured well in this show. She's still got the attitude of a rookie know it all at times. I don't think I've ever heard her apologize for something important.
