On Night 29 of our horror marathon it is Rick O'Connell to the rescue in The Mummy 1999. This Binge-Watcher also explains how you can fix the Scorpion King movies by returning to the Mummy and Mummy Returns in a time travel plot bringing back Brendan Fraser. Stumbling upon an ancient tomb, the hunters unwittingly set loose a 3,000-year-old legacy of terror, which is embodied in the vengeful reincarnation of an Egyptian priest who had been sentenced to an eternity as one of the living dead. Release date: May 4, 1999 (USA) Director: Stephen Sommers Box office: 415.9 million USD Budget: 80 million USD.
