Good start!

I think it was a great start for the new season, the pace was right from the beginning! The two storylines of Ferry and Bob are mixed in a great way, excited for the second episode!

Dixieland

I don't understand why they picked this song in this episode? Taking hats off and covering their hearts. It was weird. It's not weird that the country and location were line dancing to country music, but whoever picked that song shouldn't be picking songs. This is a 9-10 rating series but as a country boy in the US, that was weird.

Mommy, where's Bouman?
isgust6 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Stop whining about the so called absence of Bouman (Lammers). First of all: he isn't absent in the first place. All the tension in season 1 was built up to explode into the goal of that season: Bouman finally getting his game over call. As the episodes of this new season are delivered one at a time, you can easily notice that Bouman will get out of jail sooner or later. Eventually there will be a new war between Bouman and the undercover team. The fact that Bouman is shown just a few times adds up to a new tension building up around his character. Bouman will be back. Stop whining.

Okay start to the season, but with an overused trope
elientje-9823329 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Overall this episode nicely sets up the second season (which sadly isn't as good as the first, but still enjoyable). However, the fact that the death of a female character is used as motivation for the male lead character bothers me. This is such an overused trope in storytelling, and it reduces the woman's death to a plot device.

Disappointing
deaeight15 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Very very little Ferry & no Danni. That's annoying in itself but the tone of season 2 is completely different to one. I understand why they would want to make it different but all of the magic of season 1 has evaporated. All the air was sucked out of the room when Kim died. As another reviewer says, it was a cheap trope we've seen a million times. "Get revenge for the murder of the close friend & ex colleague" yarn. I'll stick with it but man do things need to improve. No more dynamic between Kim and Bob, no more dynamic between Ferry and Bob, no more dynamic between Danni and Kim. No more dynamic between Bob, John and Ferry. It just goes on and on! No beautiful camp site setting which felt relaxing just to observe! We get dingy, miserable Ukraine instead, Great. Right now I'm feeling like too much has been lost...
