Without a doubt this is one of the funniest things you can sit down to watch. It irritates me that The Detectives seems to be a show that's been forgotten, having re-watched them it becomes obvious why this show used to get millions of viewers. This is one of the funniest episodes of the series. Bob and Dave are their usual hilarious selves, but the guest turn from Anthony Valentine is painfully funny, I can't remember seeing him in any similar role, his camp Chauffeur is so wonderfully over the top, but works so well. Rula Lenska adds the touch of 90's glamour, fitting that she plays a titled Duchess, she's brilliant throughout. I vividly remembered the closing scenes, Badgerwatch, with Bob running around with A Lion's head on, daft and slapstick, but true Comedy gold. Hilarious!! 9/10
