“Till death do us part,” they say. That statement rings all too true in today’s episode of World of Death. First up, in Mike McKown’s Scorned, a beautiful woman slaves away cooking and cleaning, all in the preparation for her beau’s return home. Sitting in her sexy lingerie, she slowly becomes more and more impatient. […]...

After seven seasons, last night's Pretty Little Liars series finale on Freeform finally revealed who the mysterious blackmailing A.D. was and the I. Marlene King-created drama went out with a rare ratings rise. Unlike many series nowadays, the two-hour final episode "Till Death Do Us Part" saw not only an uptick week-to-week but also year-to-year. Surging up 75% among adults 18-49 from its June 20 penultimate episode "Farewell, My Lovely," the King-directed finale…...

Pretty Little Liars will go down as one of the most bonkers shows in TV history, naturally the series finale wasn't an exception. In the big episode, titled "Till Death Do Us Part," Uber A, or A.D., was finally revealed. And here's your one spoiler warning! Who's A.D.? That's none other than Alex Drake. Who's Alex Drake? Why she's Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) twin sister! Get the full story right here. Bellisario told Elle that she's know about the twist since the end of season five when series creator I. Marlene King gave her the big pitch. "It's been real rough. But for a long time, people would ask, "Who's A.D.?" And I'd say,...

Pretty Little Liars came to an end with "Till Death Do Us Part," and not only was A.D. revealed (to be an evil twin!), but Aria and Ezra also got married, Hanna shared good news with the others and history seemed ready to repeat itself with a new group of high school girls.
Here are the best quotes from the series finale.

In the series finale of Pretty Little Liars, we discover the true identity of A.D., and it both makes perfect sense and no sense at all. So, basically, Pretty Little Liars is Pretty Little Liars right to the end -- a show where birds sing clues and snakes are thwarted by mannequin legs, and teen girls pilot airplanes with masks of their faces over their own faces. On Pretty Little Liars, things make perfect sense and no sense at all simultaneously almost all of the time.
"Till Death Do Us Part" is not the greatest series finale, but it delivers on over-the-top action, nice emotional moments and one of the best final characters moments I could have ever imagined. Mona Vanderwaal is the hero we needed but never deserved.

Norman Lear- Just Another Version of You
By Eddy Friedeld
The first two people in my life who taught me to think deeply about social and political issues and argue cogently and passionately for what I believed in were my late father David and Norman Lear.
Lear, the 94-year-old entertainment icon is the subject of a terrific American Masters documentary: Norman Lear- Just Another Version of You, which premieres nationwide Tuesday, October 25, 9-10:30 p.m. on PBS.
Speaking from his home in Los Angeles about both the documentary and his masterful 2014 autobiography, Even This I Get to Experience, he still has an energy level that would put people a quarter of his age to shame.
“People think when you’re over 90 you’ve changed. It’s everyone else who’s changed. Suddenly I’m extremely wise,” Lear says. Charming and reflective, he explains why he wears the...

45 years ago, one of the most divisive shows ever made debuted and became the biggest hit of the 1970s. All In The Family hit the airwaves in 1971 and created a maelstrom of controversy. The non-pc humor of the show would never be tolerated today. However, was the show really racially insensitive or was it just using humor to cast some light on the ignorance and prejudices of the world?
Based on the Brit-com Till Death Do Us Part (which had debuted in 1965), the CBS series All In The Family (1971-1979) was a no-holds barred sitcom about working-class bigot Archie Bunker, an unapologetic racist, homophobic, sexist lout from Astoria, NY. Archie had an opinion on everything, and never failed to offend everyone. The character used inflammatory, non-pc language on a weekly basis. He regularly squared off with his liberal Democrat son-in law Mike in heated arguments about minorities, immigrants, women, non-Christians...

The hugely ambitious Star Trek: Deep Space Nine has no shortage of classic episodes. And you'll find a few Klingons here too...
Spoilers lie ahead for Star Trek: Deep Space 9
See related Little Me: My Life From A-z by Matt Lucas review
Overlapping with both Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's seven seasons had some very high points, It also had some very low ones that strayed a bit too far from the core of Star Trek for some fans, yet gave the show a unique texture that some savour.
If you only ever watch 25 stories from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, these are they, at least in my opinion – the only rule being that multi-part episodes count as one story (but great big multi-season Dominion flavoured arcs don't!)
With the 50th anniversary of Star Trek as a whole this year,...

Beyonce scratched her seven year itch on Saturday by surprising fans with a new song on her and Jay Z's seventh anniversary.
The track is titled, "Die With You." Traditional marriage vows include the line, "Till death do us part," which is interesting to note, given that it's their anniversary afterall.
"Because I want to wake up just to sleep with you/I open my eyes so that I can see with you," Beyonce sings in a short snippet of the piano ballad that can be heard on her Facebook and Instagram accounts.

As “Curtain Call” brought American Horror Story: Freak Show to a close, Dandy at last made his stage “debut,” and Elsa arrived in the one place in the world that might actually be weirder than her own Cabinet of Curiosities: Hollywood.
Here’s how it all fell apart and came together.
The Beginning Of The End | As the finale kicked off, Dandy was pitching a fit over the fact that, just like Penny predicted, audiences weren’t lining up to see a “rich Nancy sing show tunes.” And, in no time, he’d become so intolerable that he’d been decked by Amazon Eve,...

Falling Skies' family melodrama is never its strongest suit, and this week's episode is chock-full of it...
This review contains spoilers.
4.10 Drawing Straws
Falling Skies works best when it's blasting aliens and having fun with its sci-fi, or when it dabbles in horror elements to try to be creepy. The Mason family drama is not the show's strongest suit, though it has worked at times in the past. This week, however, the Mason squabbling throws a spanner into the works and detracts from some very good special affects on the beamer ships. Lexi travels to the Dianetics commercial lava world, overhears an alien plot, and destroys some valuable alien hardware in her return to the good side, but we spend much more time listening to people bicker than we do watching Lexi turn good and kill some fish heads
Tom bickers with Anne about his inability to let anyone else be the hero,...

Tom Mason is shooting for the moon in this week's Falling Skies. Here's Ron's review of Till Death Do Us Part...
This review contains spoilers.
4.9 Till Death Do Us Part
If a show actively has characters lampshading decisions, does it still count? Falling Skies, which typically opts for the happiest of all choices in the end, even when it comes to betrayal, had a character from Matt's past return in a big way this week. While Tom, Cochise, Anne, Weaver, and Matt—you know, the most important people in Charleston and the leadership of the Second Mass—are off looking for a cache of Volm weapons, Mira runs into them on the road. She spins an implausible story about how she graduated from the camp but just happened to run into them on the road and that she's thrown her Espheni dog whistle away, but Tom and Weaver see through it pretty instantly.

Since Una Stubbs's film debut half a century ago, she's never been out of work. With a string of memorable TV series to her name, from Till Death Do Us Part to Sherlock, how does she feel now about her return to the National theatre stage at 75?
Una Stubbs can't quite believe she's being interviewed. "So who else are you speaking to from this production?" she asks when we meet backstage at the National Theatre. No one, I tell her. Just you. Behind her round-framed spectacles, Stubbs's eyes widen anxiously. "Oh," she says, brow crinkling. "Really?"
You might expect Una Stubbs to be more convinced by her own reputation. At 75, she has starred in some of the most memorable television programmes of the past four decades (Till Death Us Do Part, Give Us a Clue, Worzel Gummidge, Sherlock) and been directed on stage by such theatrical luminaries as Sir Peter Hall and Michael Grandage.
"Really?"

For years, the UK and the Us have swapped TV formats around as a simple way of gaining new ideas and building on established successes.
Just recently we’ve seen HBO and Armando Iannucci putting a presidential spin on The Thick of It with Veep, while John Leguizamo is all set for a cushty role as Del Boy in an upcoming remake of Only Fools and Horses.
While many UK to Us remakes have managed to successfully avoid being lost in translation, others have sadly proved that sometimes you simply can’t recapture the same magic twice. Join us as we take a look at the 5 best and the 5 worst, Us TV remakes.

NCIS Preview: The Explosive Arc To the Season 9 Finale Continues Tonight
NCIS continues its explosive climb to the May 15 finale of Season 9. The four-episode arc started by showing that, even after nine years, there is much left to explore about the NCIS team. The first installment in the arc, "Rekindled", explained how eternal frat boy, Tony Dinozzo, (Michael Weatherly) became a cop.
The "Rekindled" episode featuring Dinozzo saving a child from a fire was as emotionally combustable as the fiery bomb material, thermite, that is the thread connecting the arc. Weatherly's poignant portrayal of a man whose life found meaning in the screams of a child is a far cry from the class-clown-exterior schtick he uses to razz his team. Dinozzo opened a painful vein for McGee (Sean Murray) and Ziva (Cote de Pablo) that is not revealed often to his NCIS teammates.

“Till death do us part.” Just about everyone knows these words and their significance. They’re a public sign of commitment to a life together. Many couples who say them don’t make it to the “till death” part. Sometimes life has a way of forcing people to grow apart. And sometimes it intervenes in other ways. The Vow, starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, tells the story of a couple separated, in a sense, by an accident — and how they managed to find their way back to each other. Based on the true story about — and subsequent book written [...]...

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Debbie Gibson's debut album, Only in My Dreams. She was just 16 at the time but penned the entire album, and in the process she took America by storm. In addition to the title song, the album also contained the hits "Shake Your Love" and "Foolish Beat," which gave Gibson the distinction of being the youngest person to write, produce, and sing a number-one single. It's a record that still stands today.
While Gibson acknowledges her past and never disowns any of her songs that may be considered "bubblegum pop," she lives very much in the present and continues to make plans for the future. Starting Feb. 19, Gibson will showcase her savvy business skills on the new season of Celebrity Apprentice. She'll be playing for Children's International, a charity she's been involved with since 1989 that provides health and educational support to children around the world.

Since Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective Sherlock Holmes has broken free of its copyright laws, there have been many to snatch up the character in order to give it a make-over and present it to audiences as something shiny and new. Starting the Sherlock craze was Guy Ritchie, who has taken the character to the big screen in not one, but two action packed movies starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. The two movies did very well overall at the box office which has lead to others jumping on the Sherlock bandwagon, including the prominent BBC network and now the Us CBS network.
Rising to prominence in Trainspotting, but likely more known to us geeks as Zero Cool, Jonny Lee Miller has been cast as the title character in the pilot episode of CBS’s Sherlock Holmes reboot entitled Elementary. This will be a modern take on...

Castle took viewers to the chapel on the first new episode of 2012, as Ryan exchanged vows with Jenny on "Till Death Do Us Part."
Below, our Round Table team of Jim Garner, Chandel Charles, Courtney Morrison and Christine Orlando break down the ceremony, the case of the week and a lot more. As always, reader feedback is encouraged...
-------------------------------------------
Were you disappointed there was no actual wedding/reception shown?
Jim: I wasn't. While I think that a reception could have been fun, having it end when Castle and Beckett walked in was appropriate for the show.
Chandel: Yes, while I appreciated the attempts to depict some aspects of the wedding, mainly Jenny's dress and Ryan's tux, I would have Loved to see more. Much more!
Courtney: Absolutely! I was expecting more time devoted to Ryan’s wedding, not just the last few minutes. Although the little bit we saw was sweet,...

Castle 4.11 "Till Death Do Us Part" Review
Well, that was a fun episode, wasn’t it? I think the best description for this week’s Castle, “Till Death Do Us Apart”, is adorable. The winter premiere of the ABC hit crime drama delivered a solid episode with all the trademarks of what we all like to call classic Castle. It was fun, the case was actually interesting (although I did guess right who the killer was when she first showed up on screen) and the lead up to Detective Ryan’s wedding was hilarious.
This episode felt very reminiscent of last season’s “Nikki Heat”, but in the way that it was just an all around good episode with a nice balance of humor, drama and mystery. The only scenes that fell kind of flat for me were the ones with Martha and Alexis, but that is most likely because...

Welcome back, Castle fans! After what seems like forever, the ABC hit returned this week with the first new episode of 2012, "'Till Death Do Us Part." The episode carried us through a fun murder and ended with the much anticipated wedding of Ryan and Jenny. How did it turn out? Let’s discuss now!
The Pick Up Artist Goes Down. In more ways than one. The weekly case focused on a pick up artist who played women to find out espionage secrets. This was a fun twist, being that it dealt with his career instead of just trying to pick up women. The best parts about it? The code names for the pick up moves (that Espo later used) and the victim’s ledger of conquests. In that ledger was a woman we were getting ready to see walk down the aisle...

Interview - Seamus Dever Talks Tonight's Castle, and Beyond
Just like Castle itself, Seamus Dever has built a devoted following of fans for his work as Detective Kevin Ryan. Tonight's episode of Castle, Till Death Do Us Part airing tonight at 10Pm Est on ABC, is not only a Ryan-centric episode, it also gives the actor a payoff few actors get to enjoy: Dever will be marrying his real life wife, Juliana Dever, on the episode; in character, of course. We had the opportunity to speak with Seamus about the episode, and as the conversation went on snagged some pretty cool hints on what is to come from the remainder of this season of Castle.
Tvom: If most folks brought their wife to work it would be pretty forgettable, you actually get to renew your vows in a fictional setting as characters – that has to be pretty unique memory-making for you guys.

Jingle bells will be replaced by wedding bells on Monday's new episode of Castle, as Ryan exchanges vows with long-time girlfriend Jenny.
I'll post an interview with star Seamus Dever over the weekend, regarding his character's big day, but first let's take a look at a couple scenes from "'Till Death Do Us Part," shall we?
In the first, Castle and Beckett take in a crime scene. In the second, we watch Ryan down a cleansing shake, while Esposito receive some bad news about the wedding and who might be coming. Watch for yourself:

Josh Stamberg is set to play an "important" role on Castle, according to creator Andrew Marlowe.
The former Drop Dead Diva star will come on board the two-part February Sweeps episode - which also features Jennifer Beals - as an intelligence officer.
Castle Promo: "Till Death Do Us Part"
Beals will appear on the special installment as a CIA agent who teams up with Castle and Beckett when another agent goes rogue.
Look for Castle to air its first episode of 2012 on Monday, as Ryan and Jenny walk down the aisle. Return to TV Fanatic later in the week for an interview with star Seamus Dever in which he discusses this union.

Wedding bells will ring next month on Castle.
The show's winter premiere, titled "Till Death Do Us Part," will center on the nuptials between Jenny and Ryan, but Castle and Beckett's personal life will be explored in their own way, as well. Look for the Case of the Week to bring them closer (as teased in the following promo) and for the wedding itself to provide some romantic moments for more than just the bride and groom.
Prepare for one of our favorite shows to kick off a run of new episodes on January 9 now:

Yes, Sunday was Oscar night, but your Big Love columnist is on the case! Thanks to the joys of owning two TiVos, I can cover both without missing a beat. Glad that I did, because while it might have been the movies' big night, on Big Love, the night belonged to Barb Henrickson.
Throughout "Till Death Do Us Part," Barb shows compassion to all around her -- including those who don't deserve it. But even this tower of strength might waiver as she's drawn into a police investigation that could tear her family apart.

NBC's "The Office" is a remake of BBC's "The Office." It feels howlingly stupid to write this because it is assumed (rightly) that everyone knows this already. The reason everyone knows this has a lot to do with things that would probably take too much time to unpack in a Seriously Random List, like the heightened awareness among today's TV watchers of how their sausage is made as well as the surge in popularity and accessibility of foreign television thanks to DVDs and online streaming. But the takeaway is that there are and have been plenty of series that have found success here in the U.S. that were based on British shows, which is how this list came together. If you never knew that some of these shows were remakes, now you can impress and potentially bore people at parties. (If you already knew that each of these was a remake,...

Six years after releasing "Till Death Do Us Part" in 2004, Cypress Hill finally make a comeback with a new album "Rise Up" this year. The Latino group are gearing to drop their next studio installment in the U.S. on April 20.
In this effort, the band include rock sound like they first did in 2000 "Skull & Bones" which led them return to the Top 10 of Billboard Hot 200 after failing to crack the list with its predecessor. Instead of separating the rap and rock music in a 2-disc album however, they blend the different sounds into one single-disc set.
On how they came up with such idea, the band's member B-Real told AOL, "We did the bulk of it [the album], but after we got halfway, we said, 'Let's try some different things'." One of the featured guests in the album are Mike Shinoda of the Linkin Park.

Everyone is out dancing under the sun in a music video for Cypress Hill's new single "Armada Latina". B-Real, Sen Dog and Pitbull pack into Los Angeles' Mariachi Plaza, which is decorated with colorful balloons and small flags, along with a bunch of friends.
"Armada Latina" is included in Cypress Hill's April 20 release "Rise Up", which becomes the band's first studio album since their 2004 effort "Till Death Do Us Part". Beside featuring Pitbull, the song actually also has Marc Anthony as a featured guest but the Jennifer Lopez's husband doesn't appear in the accompanying video.
As a promotional effort for the forthcoming record, the Hip-Hop group are embarking on a series of concerts across North America and Europe. The traveling show includes live performances at "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", Lollapalooza as well as Leeds and Reading Festival. Detailed info about their upcoming shows can be found on their MySpace.

Will Smith has opened up about the heartbreak he suffered after his first marriage, insisting the divorce was the "most painful loss" he's ever endured.
The Independence Day star married girlfriend Sheree Zampino in 1992 and the couple welcomed a son, Trey, before they decided to end their relationship in 1995.
Smith is adamant he has learned how to navigate the ups and downs of married life since tying the knot with actress Jada Pinkett Smith - and admits he could have sustained his first union if he'd tried harder.
He says, "That (first marriage) is probably the most painful loss of my life. I quit. I could have fixed it. It really was not that bad. With Jada, I stood up in front of God and my family and friends and said, 'Till death do us part.' So there are two possible outcomes: we are going to be together till death or I am dead.
"Jada and I have problems; everybody has problems. People ask, 'What happens if you made a mistake?' Well, you should be a little more careful before you stand up in front of God and your family and friends and say, 'Till death do us part.'"...
