I was at a film festival and heard Loren Marsh talking about this movie as part of a panel before I actually saw it. He said that he went to Europe in order to write without distraction and ended up writing about Mission, a neighborhood in San Francisco. This was an excellent movie full of real characters played very well by the actors. I was sort of skeptical about Joshua Leonard's acting ability, since the only other thing I had seen him in was "The Blair Witch", but he was great. From the first time you see him with his hand in a toilet while flushing. This was my favorite film from the festival. I hope it gets a wide release.
If you have seen this and liked it check out another festival movie "A Million Miles."
