Amateurish at best

I just finished watching "Game of Pleasure," and I couldn't be more disappointed, to be quite honest. I truly wanted to like this film; but for all my good intentions, I just can't. How a film could possibly be so bad--when is stars the incredible Tammy Parks and the ever-enthralling Jennifer Huss (two of the only good things this dreck offers)--is beyond my comprehension. Hip (circa 1965) camera angles (all handheld, apparently) and sub-par video quality (not unlike my uncle Stanley's vacation footage [why is it always dark indoors?]) serve to distract the viewer--thankfully-- from the hi-tech Scooby Doo plot. But don't get me wrong: "GoP" is honestly incredible at times...it's incredible they actually had a crew (since it seems less thought out than a highschool production of "You Can't Take It with You"), it's incredible they had a cast (since, apparently, they couldn't find ACTORS), and incredible that it ever got made at all (without bare breasts [and they were few...don't let them fool you by suggesting it's at all racy], it wouldn't have made a dime). I must admit I've learned a lesson or two from this film, though: 1) anyone can make a film, and 2) Fred Olen Ray is a freaking Orson Welles compared to GoP's helmsman, Dale Frantz. I'm sorry for the bile in this review; however, this film was so bad, it hurt...I just wanted to hurt it back.
