Thief TDP was good...the Metal Age was absolutely incredible! I was hoping I would have a chance to play more people-based missions (e.g. breaking-and-entering, espionage), and sure enough that's what happened.
I'll never forget the heart-stopping, nail-biting tension of pulling such crazed stunts like breaking into the Sheriff's home, tailing a police woman through the streets of the city, and getting the low-down on some rich-guys home...ALL while avoiding detection and stealing as much money as you can carry.
And the intricacy of some levels was unbelievable. Running through the city streets like a hunted animal, getting from the inn back to your home on the other end of town while the City Watch march on was FUN! I do wish Looking Glass had beefed up the ending a little bit, but here are the four amazing levels that make this game what it is:
Ambush! (Level 4)
Sheriff Truart's Home
The Lost City
Casing the Joint (Bram Gervacious' Home)
You'll see what I mean when you get there.
