Wayne Wang ("Maid in Manhattan") has signed on to direct an Albert Einstein biopic for Hollywood Studios International reports Variety.
Tentatively titled "Einstein", the project looks at the famed scientist's personal life including "his struggles with poverty, his dyslexia, his love for music, his relationships with the women in his life, his persecution by the Nazis and his battle to deal with living in the public eye and being under constant scrutiny" says executive producer Koldo Eguren.

Ron Bass (who’s wrote both Rain Man and Entrapment, so there’s that) has written an Albert Einstein biopic, and the hit-or-miss Wayne Wang (Chan Is Missing, Last Holiday) will direct it. The project’s titled Einstein for now. Because, you know, it’s about the German mathematician.
Paul Schiff will produce the film for Hollywood Studios International while Hsi CEO Steven Saxton will executive produce, as will Eric Christenson, the Hsi Films President. Koldo Eguren of Hero Pictures is executive producing also, as well as Golan Ramras of Go Long Productions, who’s on as producer.

No casting has been decided at this point, so actors, it's time to break out your wild white fright wigs.
