[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 4 Episode 16, “A House Divided.”] The latest 9-1-1: Lone Star is tough for Judd (Jim Parrack) — and that’s before the shocking twist at the end! First, Tommy (Gina Torres) disobeys his order during a call; he’s filling in as captain while Owen (Rob Lowe) is away with his half-brother Robert (Chad Lowe). Judd and Tommy fight immediately after the incident, and his wife Grace (Sierra McClain) and her boyfriend Trevor (D.B. Woodside) join in during one of the most entertaining dinner scenes on television. But none of that matters after Tommy discovers that a young man on a bicycle hit by a truck is Judd’s son Wyatt (Jackson Pace). At the end of the episode, he’s in surgery with confirmed brain swelling and several broken vertebrae. Parrack takes us inside the episode and teases what’s ahead in the two-part finale (yes, including ...

Judd (Jim Parrack) and Grace (Sierra McClain) think they’re just sitting down for dinner with his son Wyatt (Jackson Pace) to meet his girlfriend, but as TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the April 4 episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star shows, they’re in for a couple of shocks. As Judd and Grace get to know Leanne — she’s an early education major, and all she’s ever wanted to do is teach — they find out she has a 4.0, even after midterms. That’s when the conversation takes a turn, as Judd admits he didn’t even realize it had been that time of the year. So how did Wyatt do on his? Uh-oh. “I didn’t take them,” Judd’s son reveals. Why not? “Because I am dropping out of school.” Judd reacts just as expected — “No, you ain’t dropping out of no damn school” — as does Grace,...

For those hoping to be able to breathe a sigh of relief sooner rather than later after that cliffhanger ending to the penultimate episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3, we’re sorry to say that won’t be the case (as everyone should have expected). At the end of the last episode, firefighter Judd Ryder (Jim Parrack) insisted on trying to score his son Wyatt (Jackson Pace) another interview for an internship after his advice for the first one led to less than ideal results. He went inside to talk up his son and get him a second interview, while Wyatt waited outside in the truck. But soon after, there was an explosion and the building started to collapse. Now, TV Insider’s exclusive sneak peek of the Season 3 finale, “A Bright and Cloudless Morning,” offers a look at the scene of the explosion as Wyatt calls 9-1-1. “Please hurry,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 3, Episode 5 “Child Care.”] Congratulations, Judd Ryder, you’re a father … again?! In the latest 9-1-1: Lone Star, Jim Parrack‘s firefighter finds out that he has a teenage son, Wyatt (Jackson Pace), when the kid tracks him down. It turns out that years ago, Judd and Wyatt’s mother, a barrel racer, met at the rodeo in 2005 and didn’t even exchange names. So now Judd’s family — his wife, Grace (Sierra McClain), and their daughter, Charlie — is growing. Parrack tells us how Judd’s handling the news and teases what’s ahead. What was your reaction to finding out Judd has a teenage son? Jim Parrack: Tim Minear told me ahead of time and my first reaction was, “I wish I had known that.” He said, “No, no, no, Judd didn’t know.” So I kind of misunderstood what he was saying. Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not yet watched “Child Care,” Monday’s episode of “9-1-1: Lone Star.”
Baby made three for Judd (Jim Parrack) and Grace (Sierra McClain) on last week’s “9-1-1: Lone Star” — and on Monday’s episode, an estranged teen son and his mother made five. Totally unbeknownst to Judd and Grace, he had a son Wyatt (Jackson Pace) with Marlene Harris (Robyn Lively), a barrel racer he can hardly remember having met at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in 2005.
On Monday’s “9-1-1: Lone Star,” that boy comes to find Judd with the help of an online DNA ancestry website and Judd and Grace, just getting the hang of taking care of newborn daughter Charlie following her birth at the tail end of the Fox drama’s weeks-long ice-storm plot.

Secrets. We all have them. To keep them safe, we hide them behind masks to appear “socially acceptable”. There’s Someone Inside Your House from Creep director, Patrick Brice explores this idea under the clever guise of a 1980’s style slasher. We recognize this familiar and comfortable territory immediately in the opening sequence of the film when hot shot Osborne High School football star, Jackson Pace (Markian Tarasiuk) is being terrorized by an unknown intruder in his home. For those of us who grew up watching Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees silently stalk their prey on the silver screen, like Jackson, we know someone is there but we can’t see them lurking in the shadows. While we sit on pins and needles watching the story unfurl,...

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 2
So far in season 11 of The Walking Dead, the biggest weapon in the arsenal of the survivors hasn’t been a gun, but the brain. Specifically, the power of observation. Princess used it to good effect to nearly get the group out of Commonwealth processing prison, and now Yumiko is taking the information Princess and others have gathered on the people around them, churns it through her lawyer-trained mind, and comes up with a line of patter so effective it makes Ezekiel’s summation of lead guard Mercer (who I can only call the Pumpkin King due to the color of his armor) look like me taking notes on a television show.
Yumiko, Princess, Ezekiel, and Eugene were all put into a no-win situation, and figured out a way to get out of it with everyone intact and...

This Sunday, the final season of “Homeland” will finally arrive. Stars Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin, showrunner Alex Gansa, and a lucky hundred or so of the rest of us got to see it Tuesday at the world premiere, which was held at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
The after-party played out at the Lobster Club, a few long city blocks over. For a “Homeland” fan, the evening was about as good as Tuesdays get. For so many former “Homeland” stars, it was a homecoming.
Below are a few of our non-spoilery takeaways from the nice-enough February night in Manhattan.

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “The Walking Dead,” Season 10, Episode 4, “Silence the Whisperers.”]
To its credit, “Silence The Whisperers” is the most thematically interesting episode of the season so far, arguing that it wouldn’t take much of a push for the communities’ new society to descend into chaos, as everyone works themselves up into a frenzy about the Whisperers. Also, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) finally gets some attention this week, sharing some tender moments with Michonne (Danai Gurira), which is a surprisingly fresh pairing on this show, considering how long both characters have been around.
Of course, this is still “The Walking Dead,” so a lot of this material is pretty ham-fisted and cartoonish, and the season still doesn’t have much in the way of narrative drive. But we’ll hand out some points for effort.
The main focus this week is on Lydia (Cassady McClincy) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who have a...

The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 4
The outsider is the easiest target for radicalization. That's a simple fact as old as anything. When you have a homogeneous community, particularly one that's been through a series of disasters that have served to bring them closer together, and introduce a couple of people who haven't, introduce outside pressure, and viola, an “us against them” mentality develops, with the us and the them easily spurred to violent action.
That's the brewing powder keg in “Silence The Whisperers,” a tense episode of The Walking Dead in which the redeemed Negan and the abused Lydia are forced to band together for mutual survival against a radicalized faction of Alexandrians led by the last surviving teenager Gage (Jackson Pace), Alex (Austin Freeman), and Margo.

AMC Theatres is launching a new program, AMC Artisan Films, as a programming-marketing effort to put a spotlight on character and narrative driven movies as an alternative to blockbusters.
“Because AMC is the industry’s top choice for blockbuster movies, many consumers don’t realize that we play more elevated and celebrated films than anyone else in North America,” said Elizabeth Frank, executive vice president of worldwide programming. “With the launch of AMC Artisan Films, we aim to expose more movie-goers to specialized films and increase their theatrical success.”
Frank said AMC is seeking earlier runs in platform releases while holding films longer in the theater to give audiences time to learn about them from other customers.

“Happy Anniversary” says new Hilltop member Hilde to her husband Miles. The penultimate episode of “The Walking Dead” Season 9 leads viewers to believe that this happy couple will become series mainstays. But as we chart their relationship through years of anniversaries, their stay on the show is cut short. On the way to the fair, their cart winds up overturned, Hilde’s cache of cute Hilltop pendants strewn across the forest floor. The couple is dead, murdered by Alpha (Samantha Morton). This brutal episode expands upon this opening montage, as joyous characters are destroyed by the end credits. These are the five most shocking moments from “The Calm Before.”
The Charter
Everyone unites at the fair. Ezekiel (Khary Payton) gives a rousing speech about joining to celebrate their accomplishments and friendships. Not everyone is in a celebratory mood however, particularly Tara (Alanna Masterson). She’s angry Lydia (Cassady McClincy) was granted asylum by Alexandria.

But the group has no time to worry about the herd’s behavior, as they must find Eugene (Josh McDermitt) before it’s too late.
In Alexandria, Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) sits with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and tries to instruct him in spirituality. Negan is happy to simply needle Gabriel, particularly about his relationship with Rosita (Christian Serratos). An eerie storm and foreboding fog descend upon the survivors in the Season 9 mid-season finale of AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” Episode 8, “Evolution,” made it clear that the series intends to bring a horror element back to the hit series. It turns out there is still plenty to fear when darkness descends. A villain is set loose, a search party contends with an aggressive herd, and not everyone makes it through the night. These are the five most shocking moments of “Evolution.”
Mind of Their Own
Daryl (Norman Reedus), Aaron (Ross Marquand), and Jesus (Tom Payne) spy on a herd of walkers as they search for Eugene (Josh McDermitt). The one hundred-strong horde behaves strangely, milling about in tight circles instead of walking straight ahead. As the trio presses on, Daryl hears the herd at their backs. He tosses an alarm clock to distract the zombies so the party can rush into the woods.

When Homeland returns to television this fall, fans of the Showtime political thriller will have to come to terms with a dramatically transformed show. Brody (Damian Lewis) is dead and gone, his wife Jessica (Morena Baccarin) and children Dana (Morgan Saylor) and Chris (Jackson Pace) are no longer part of the show, and protagonist Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), heavily pregnant with Brody’s child, has become the CIA’s station chief in Istanbul. Even Saul (Mandy Patinkin) is facing changes, now that he’s been fired from the CIA.
Luckily, there will be a host of newcomers to help Homeland get its momentum going again. Following the additions of Laila Robins (as a series regular), Corey Stoll (as a recurring guest star) and Suraj Sharma (in a heavily recurring role), Homeland has landed Raza Jaffrey and Michael O’Keefe for its fourth season.

Already I can tell that Homeland’s fourth season is going to be an entirely different animal than the one we’ve experienced thus far in Season 3. In my mind, there is only one natural conclusion for the current plotlines (at the time of writing this, the finale has not yet aired) and the recent announcement that series regulars Morgan Saylor and Morena Baccarin would be stepping down from their positions has only strengthened my convictions. Next year, Homeland is going to be a completely new series with a large chunk of its cast missing, including Damien Lewis.
While Mr. Lewis has not been announced as leaving the show, Saylor and Baccarin’s departures would only come about if there were no more need to hang around with the Brody family. People have strong opinions about Homeland, the explosive drama that will wrap its third season on Showtime at 9pm Sunday, and they often lead to disagreements. "Homeland's" Season 3 premiere "Tin Man Is Down" shows that Dana Brody had a very difficult time dealing with her father Nicholas Brody being revealed as a traitor to his country at the end of Season 2. A good deal of the premiere episode is dedicated to the Brody family coping with her return home after a suicide attempt, and it's clear that a lot has changed for those closest to the former Congressman beyond just his disappearance.

This single photo has us white knuckling more than any single episode of Homeland ever has. While celebrating his Golden Globes victory, Damian Lewis took to the dance floor at the Fox afterparty to dance "Gangnam Style." Suddenly, the lingering effects of being a Pow are far more chilling. So maybe it's super adorable that he's joined by his TV son, Jackson Pace. And it's not like we didn't already know Nicholas Brody himself could "Gangnam" with the best of 'em. But Psy's viral hit should have been left in 2012 (if not months before that). In the end, he gets a pass from us for one reason and one reason only: As Mr. Lewis quickly made his way down the carpet at the...

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for wishes to come true.
As the holidays are upon us, we’re making lists and checking them twice, raiding stores for sales and keeping our fingers crossed for the perfect present.
I like to think I’ve been a good TV watcher this year, so hopefully all of my TV wishes will be fulfilled. I may be a little greedy, but they’re worthwhile — I promise.
So sit back with some fruit cake, latkes or what have you, and take a look at my 20 TV wishes this holiday season.
20. ABC’s Nashville keeps producing such hits as “Wrong Song” and “If I Didn’t Know Better.” Music producer T Bone Burnett is a gift to TV.

Spoiler Alert! Seriously, Do Not Read On If You’Re Not Caught Up With Homeland!
Sunday night’s episode of Homeland ended with one of its trademark omigod nail-biter twists, after CIA operative Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) nearly bumped off series lead Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) in the back of a limo. We’d been told Quinn was a mere mild-mannered analyst, but as the wily Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) discovered, Quinn is actually some kind of deep-cover black-ops agent with a spartan apartment, a sniper rifle cleaning kit, and a secret kid with a Philadelphia cop. Homeland star Morgan Saylor has hinted at "big changes" to come in season two's final episodes. The 18-year-old actress told The Los Angeles Times that she was "excited" and "nervous" to take on a bigger role in the Showtime drama's latest season. "It was a surprise," said Saylor, whose character Dana has become involved in a hit-and-run storyline. "My character got a little bigger at the end of last season, but this season I have my own plot-line. "It's crazy. Each script came out and it was juicier and juicier. And I was excited, but so nervous and scared that I wouldn't be able to carry it." Saylor suggested that her on-screen brother Jackson Pace - who plays (more)...

Chicago – Very few programs of the last few years have been as instantly engaging as Showtime’s “Homeland.” Complex characters, daring storytelling, some of the best acting you’ll see on TV all year — this is a Great show from episode one and it’s remarkable to think that it could even get better. I’ve seen so much mediocre-to-ok new television this year that the series premiere of “Homeland” was like a shot of adrenalin. Nothing comes close in the race for the best new show of the Fall season.
Television Rating: 5.0/5.0
“Homeland” stars a spectacular Claire Danes as CIA agent Carrie Mathison, a troubled government employee who has more than enough personal issues of her own to make her judgment questionable. She pops pills, sleeps around, and seems to have burned most of the bridges in her professional and personal lives. In the opening scene, Mathison is in...
