Lili Reinhart and Jack Martin aren’t seen together that often, but they made a rare public appearance while attending a screening over the weekend!
The cute couple posed for a photo while attending an advanced screening of the Max film Turtles All The Way Down on Saturday (April 27) at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.
Lili and Jack joined other special guests including Kirsten Dunst and Bailee Madison.
Turtles cast members Isabela Merced, Felix Mallard, Cree, and Maliq Johnson, director Hannah Marks, and best-selling author and executive producer John Green were also in attendance!
The movie, based on Green‘s book, tackles anxiety through its 17-year-old protagonist, Aza Holmes. It’s not easy being Aza, but she’s trying… trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, and a good student, all while navigating an endless barrage of invasive, obsessive thoughts that she cannot control. It was announced two weeks ago that Paramount is resurrecting the Scary Movie spoof franchise with a brand new reboot movie, which will likely arrive in theaters next year.
The new movie, a joint venture between Paramount and Miramax that will technically be the sixth installment in the franchise, is expected to go into production this coming Fall.
We don’t yet know who will be writing, directing or starring in the Scary Movie reboot, but two actors in particular have already expressed an interest in joining the franchise.
The first is Melissa Barrera, who can currently be seen in theaters in Radio Silence’s bloody horror movie Abigail. Barrera is of course also the star of Scream and Scream VI, which kind of makes her a perfect candidate to lampoon herself in a Scary Movie reboot.
“I always loved those movies,” Melissa Barrera tells the website Inverse. “When I saw it announced,...

What do you do when they come for you? Beloved horror franchise “The Strangers” is getting a revamp, courtesy of prequel “The Strangers: Chapter 1” starring “Riverdale” alum Madelaine Petsch. Two more sequels are due later this year, all from “Die Hard 2” and “Cliffhanger” director Renny Harlin.
In this first film, Petsch stars as a young woman who is trying to start a new life with her fiancé. Yet, during a road trip stop in a remote vacation rental in the woods, the couple become the prey of a mysterious gang of masked strangers who attack without warning or reason. Froy Gutierrez, Gabriel Basso, and Ema Horvath co-star.
Sure, it may sound like a run-of-the-mill slasher, but “The Strangers” franchise has a haunting allure, thanks to its creation by filmmaker Bryan Bertino. The director has a “story by” credit for “Chapter 1,” which is helmed by Harlin and written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland.

The third film in “The Strangers” franchise, which originated with Bryan Bertino’s 2008 film, stars Madelaine Petsch as a woman moving to the Pacific Northwest to start anew with her fiancé (Froy Gutierrez). Their plans go askew when they stay at an AirBnB in Oregon, where they are subject to the torment of three masked strangers that show up at their door.
Other cast members include Rachel Shenton, Gabriel Basso, Ema Horvath, Richard Brake and Ella Bruccoleri.
“Chapter One” is the first film in a new trilogy directed by Renny Harlin, who has previously helmed “Die Hard 2,” “Cliffhanger” and “The Long Kiss Goodnight,” among other projects.
The original “Strangers” starred Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman as the targets of masked killers who break into their home.

As another year of horror ends, we reflect on the best this genre had to offer. Usually, that means focusing on those movies that drew the most attention. However, there are also those movies that slipped under everyone’s radars for whatever reason, ultimately causing them to be overlooked. So the objective here is to bring more attention to these releases as horror fans play catch-up.
Like last year, 2023 was a strong year for horror. And these ten hidden gems might have escaped notice at the time, but it’s never too late to discover them now.

Iconic scaremaker R.L. Stine has been terrorizing kids and teens for over three decades. The mere mention of the author’s name readily brings up memories of Goosebumps and Fear Street. Yet, it was his two short-story collections, The Haunting Hour and Nightmare Hour, that inspired one of the best horror TV shows for young people.
The beginnings of The Haunting Hour can be traced back to a 2007 straight-to-video movie called Don’t Think About It, which then aired on Cartoon Network. Despite its title and Stine’s writing credit, though, the movie’s script wasn’t based on anything from its literary namesake. In fact, this was an original story penned by creative partners Dan Angel and Billy Brown. One of the production companies behind Don’t Think About It, The Hatchery, then revived the Haunting Hour brand a few years later once its co-founder and the movie’s executive producer,...

Production on Pretty Little Liars: Summer School is officially underway, and there will be a major throwback to the original series.
HBO Max confirmed Friday that Annabeth Gish would be returning as Dr. Sullivan for the second chapter of the reboot series.
If you watch Pretty Little Liars online, you know fans had theories about the doctor on multiple occasions throughout the original Freeform series.
Thankfully, Dr. Sullivan was just doing her job and attempted to help the liars process their trauma.
Given that Gish is playing the same character here, it should be more of the same.
On Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin Season 1, we were introduced to six new liars who were caught up in a deadly game with A.
Bailee Madison played Imogen Adams, Chandler Kinney as Tabby Haworthe, Zaria as Faran Bryant, Malia Pyles as Minnie "Mouse" Honrada, Maia Reficco as Noa Olivar, and Mallory Bechtel as Kelly Beasley.

A familiar face is returning for Season 2 of Max’s Pretty Little Liars reboot. Original Pll cast member Annabeth Gish will reprise her role as Dr. Sullivan in Pretty Little Liars: Summer School.
Gish recurred as the character in the original Pretty Little Liars series, which aired for six seasons on Freeform.
Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, the new series debuted five years after the original Pretty Little Liars series ended, focusing on new characters in the new fictional town of Millwood, Pa and with multiple references to iconic horror movies (think Carrie and the original Halloween).
Season 1 picked up 20 years after a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in present day, a disparate group of teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed...

Paul Mescal brought his younger siblings, Donnacha and Nell Mescal, as his dates, and Lukas Gage was joined by Chris Appleton after recently addressing dating rumors.
While speaking with the New York Times in March, Gage discussed whether the recent vacation photos of him and Appleton in Mexico were a hard-launch for their rumored romance. "If they want to think that, they can," he said. "I'm a pretty open book about most things in my life, but I have a problem with the culture of everyone needing to know everybody's business and nothing can be sacred. It's a weird line that I'm still trying to figure out."

US medical system is a gruesome house of horrors in Patrick Lussier’s macabre and surprisingly effective film
The US medical system proves a house of horrors in Patrick Lussier’s macabre and surprisingly effective thriller in which skint criminal forensics student Chloe (Bailee Madison) and brother Tj (Anthony Turpel) are on the verge of being evicted from their house, their dad’s life insurance having been invalidated because he killed himself. Tj and Chloe’s ex, Ross (Chris Lee), decide to steal the money the family needs, but the latter is gunned down during the robbery. When the siblings realise that Ross’s mobile phone, full of evidence that will incriminate Tj, is in police hands, Chloe has to find a way into the morgue where it has been logged.
If you can overcome the basic implausibility – that the two dudes would be daft enough to plan a heist on a phone,...

Play Dead is a horror movire directed by Patrick Lussier starring Bailee Madison and Jerry O’Connell.
The morgue is a very appetizing place in which to film a horror movie, this is very obvious. Besides, these locations are cheap, it is not necessary to reconstruct a ship nor pay millions to the actors. Several things are needed: actors that know how to act and do their best to stand out, a decent screenplay, committed production and, above all, a director that knows what he is doing.
Mr. Patrick Lussier, director of this film knows what he is doing.
Storyline
Chloe, a criminology student, fakes her own death to sneak into the morgue and obtain some incriminating proof against her brother, but soon she discovers that the morgue is not the “party” she was expecting.
Movie Review Play Dead (2023)
