‘Ordinary Angels’ Review: Hilary Swank’s Passionate Performance Drives True Faith Based Family Drama
Lionsgate’s collaboration with faith based movie producers Kingdom Story Company has reaped boxoffice rewards for both, and with their latest, Ordinary Angels, the inspiring true story of a small Kentucky town that comes together in a historic snowstorm in order to transport a 3-year-old girl to an Omaha hospital for a life-saving liver transplant, they have another surefire heartfelt film tailor-made for audiences looking for a little uplift. This actually would have made a perfect Christmas season release but has been delayed for several months, now opening in the same February corridor where Kingdom’s surprise hit, Jesus Revolution did well last year. Midwest crowds will especially respond to a never-say-never tale that is about bringing people together, not tearing them apart in this age of division.

A babymoon is supposed to be a relaxing pre-birth break, but it looks set to take on a very different meaning on You're Not Supposed to Be Here.
The Lifetime movie will debut on Saturday, November 4, at 8/7c, and the first trailer is insane.
Chrishell Stause stars opposite Diora Baird, with the pair playing a couple whose babymoon to a remote mountain town is anything but peaceful.
The movie came from a concept by Lauren Caster, who won The WrapWomen and Lifetime PitchFest for Emerging Female Filmmakers in 2021 as part of Lifetime's Broader Focus initiative that supports female creatives.
"When pregnant lesbian couple Zoe and Kennedy struggle with the stress of work and family life, Kennedy's boss offers them a cabin getaway in the woods," the logline teases.
"When they arrive at the beautiful cabin located in a remote mountain town, the locals aren't all overly welcoming," Lifetime adds.

Exclusive: The Kingdom Studios and Lionsgate drama Ordinary Angels starring 2x Oscar winner Hilary Swank is departing from its Oct. 13 theatrical release date as AMC’s Taylor Swift: The New Eras Tour looks to open to at least $70M off a female-heavy audience.
Universal’s The Exorcist: The Believer seeing the crazy amount of presales at $37M+ yesterday opted to go a week earlier on Oct. 6, which is much richer release date where Joker, and Venom have launched.
No bother for Ordinary Angels which is Tbd in regards to its release date. Lionsgate runs an entirely grass roots campaign on these pics, so there’s complete flexibility and no wasted media or P&a costs. Furthermore, we understand, that Swank wants to promote the pic. So, potentially waiting out the SAG-AFTRA strike is prudent for a smaller feature such as this.

By now, it’s become apparent to all that Gotham hasn’t been a show to go for the slow burn. Though it’ll ultimately end its run at nearly half the length Smallville had been able to, it likewise saw many costumed villains emerge before its respective superhero-to-be had the chance to fully suit up.
As such, the Batman prequel series has often capped off each season with finales that struggle to tie up their threads just because there’ve been so many characters involved in a number of concurrently running subplots. And while I’m not entirely sure if the fourth go-round is my supreme favorite, I must compliment the producers for putting forth their tidiest effort yet.
In other words, there’s still a lot going on in Gotham City, but this time around, everything comes together perfectly in the end. I don’t know how John Stephens,...

Calm down, “Gotham” fans, ’cause we are this much closer to Batman. Well, we are this much closer to one of his biggest rivals, Bane. Probably.
TheWrap has obtained the titles for the first eight episodes of the fifth and final season of the Dark Knight prequel series and the last one is — are you ready for it? — “I am Bane.”
Ok, if that isn’t a clear indication we’ll be seeing the man who was born in the dark arrive on the Fox drama next year, we don’t know what is. Especially because when the network announced in May this would be the show’s final season, it said the installment “will focus on Bruce Wayne’s transformation into the caped crusader.” So Batman v. Bane, yes?

Spoiler Alert: This article contains details about Thursday night’s season 4 finale of Gotham.
Fox’s Gotham’s Season 4 finale took a toll on the titular city, with one of the Batman prequel’s original characters getting killed off — and it looks like this time it’s for good.
About halfway through last night’s final episode, Butch Gilzean, a.k.a. Solomon Grundy (Drew Powell), met his end — again. But this time it looks like he won’t be coming back.
Butch has been with the show since its launch, but we didn’t know his real name until he was shot in the head by Barbara in the Season 3 finale. Turns out he was Solomon Grundy alias Cyrus Gold. But shortly after he was transformed back into his normal self by Dr. Hugo Strange, his demise came at the hands of Oswald Cobblepot.

Of all the crazy things that happened on Gotham Season 4 Episode 22 (and there were a lot), the one that had me screaming in delight was Penguin finally exacting revenge on Tabitha.
It was a bittersweet moment for sure, but it was still one of the best moments of the finale.
It always drove me crazy that Penguin let Tabitha live when she was the one who killed his beloved mother. I never understood why he didn't chop her up into tiny pieces for brutally stabbing Gertrude.
I still don't understand why it took him so long when he had so many other chances to kill Tabitha, but the fact that he actually shot Butch to make Tabitha suffer was quite shocking.
Solomon Grundy's story was pretty pointless all season. There was potential when he was under Riddler's command earl on, but then he started having flashbacks and things got...
