Sheila Carter, mega-villain on The Bold and the Beautiful, always seems to get away with her crimes. For over three decades, she’s avoided hefty prison time. Plus, she always comes back to strike fear into the hearts of those around her.
Fans of the show love to hate her, even when she evades the law, including one of her most famous prison breaks.
Sheila Carter’s sordid history
Villain Sheila Carter, played by actor Kimberlin Brown, has terrorized Genoa City and Los Angeles residents during her time on The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
A character on both soaps since the early 1990s, Sheila had conflicts with many characters, but none more than Lauren Fenmore, whom she kidnapped and tried to kill several times. Their initial beef started in 1990 when Sheila became obsessed with Dr. Scott Grainger (played by Peter Barton), who was already married to Lauren.

It's been over 30 years since Kin Shriner and Robin Mattson first teamed for crime and romance on General Hospital and now they've been reunited on the ABC soap in the most unexpected way: It's been revealed that their characters — district attorney Scott Baldwin and nutcase villain Heather Webber — are the parents of serial killer Franco (Roger Howarth)! TV Guide Magazine took the longtime pals to lunch at one of their favorite Beverly Hills restaurants, La Scala, once the hangout of Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack, just as Heather's current reign of terror has come to an end. Will she be back? Can the Heather-Scott spark be reignited? And then there's the question we're dying to ask: Did Shriner and Mattson ever get it on in real life?

Take notice, Daytime Emmys! Annually for the last 10 years, our savvy forum posters have come together to decide the best in daytime television, and for the first time they've picked "General Hospital" as daytime's Best Drama. The long-running ABC soap, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, won six awards total, including Best Writing and Best Ensemble Cast. "Gh" also won three acting prizes: Florencia Lozano won Best Limited/Guest Performance for a brief crossover of her "One Life to Live" character, Tea Delgado. Jason Thompson (pictured above, right), who also contends at the Daytime Emmys, won Best Actor. And Robin Mattson was awarded Best Supporting Actress; she was pre-nominated at the Emmys for her villainous turn as Heather Webber, but didn't make the final cut. "The Young and the Restless," which leads the Daytime Emmys with 23 nominations, had to settle for two wins from ou...

But there's one thing that's been missing: Kin Shriner! Well, good news, my peeps. TV Guide Magazine can now report that Shriner will bring his beloved Scotty Baldwin character back to Port Charles on Feb. 19, just days after the arrival of Francis, his former Gh wife. Will Scotty and Laura reunite romantically? Might they even remarry? Will Luke catch the bouquet? Our imagination is running wild! So far, ABC will only hint that "Scotty's arrival in town will have a ripple effect on the Spencer family." But here's some scoop from our exclusive chat with Shriner. Look for more in an upcoming issue of TV Guide Magazine.

Though April 1 marks General Hospital's actual 50th anniversary, the show's executive producer, Frank Valentini, and head writer Ron Carlivati, have been honoring the show's rich history ever since taking over the ABC soap opera one year ago this week. Their efforts have paid off in spades — with a serious rise in ratings and multiple award nominations. With old favorites like Finola Hughes (Anna), Ian Buchanan (Duke), Tristan Rogers (Scorpio), Kristina Wagner (Felicia), Lynn Herring (Lucy) and Robin Mattson (Heather) already back on the canvas, and Genie Francis (Laura) and Jon Lindstrom (Kevin) soon making their way back to Port Charles, what else could possibly be left for fans to look forward to as the actual anniversary date approaches? Turns out plenty. Valentini opens up about all he's cooking up to celebrate Gh's golden jubilee this spring...
