Things got a little hot on “The Masked Singer” for R&b superstar Ginuwine Wednesday night. “I don’t want to be no diva,” he recalls about complaints his Husky costume was overheating. The “Pony” singer was eliminated on episode 9 following an “I Wanna Rock” night performance of “Always” by Jon Bon Jovi. “For what it was all worth, it was something that I overcame. You can’t maneuver in that suit and it’s really heavy. I’m used to moving, so when I couldn’t move as much as I wanted to it got a little difficult.” Watch his exclusive video interview with Gold Derby senior Denton Davidson above.
Despite the heat, Ginuwine loved Husky and his experience on the Fox reality TV competition. “I thought they did their due diligence because that’s pretty much something that represents me,” he says of his costume. “I’m a go-getter.

Fox’s The Masked Singer Season 10 continues after a stellar premiere. The premiere introduced five new masks — Gazelle, Cow, Rubber Ducky, Diver, and S’more. While we saw Rubber Ducky get unmasked, S’more remains a mystery — though, given the clue package, we think we know who’s singing as the flaming marshmallow. Here’s who we (and fans) think S’more is.

Who is S’more in ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 10? It’s likely this boy band member
The Masked Singer Season 10 brought S’more out in style with his rendition of “Slow Hand” by Niall Horan. It’s clear the contestant has confidence on stage, as he has the presence of a singer. He even playfully approached the judges with a giant stick of marshmallows that he handed to Nicole Scherzinger. We’re unsure if the marshmallows will help him stay in the competition, but the audience loved it.

If you grew up in the '90s, then - whether you liked it or not - you were probably caught up in the boy band craze. However, most people's knowledge of the scene at that time only extended to what could be found in the pages of TigerBeat and Ym, and few knew of the man who was orchestrating it all: notorious record producer and fraudster Lou Pearlman. Best known for managing '90s hit machines the Backstreet Boys and *Nsync, Pearlman was later revealed to be running one of the most epic and long-running Ponzi schemes in history, and in 2008, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy, money laundering, and making false statements during a bankruptcy proceeding.

We never need an excuse to revisit our favorite music videos of the early aughts — who doesn’t want to relive all of Justin Timberlake’s hairstyles or the glory days of frosted eyeshadow and crop tops made out of bandanas? — but thankfully, the universe has given us one: MTV is reviving that beloved after-school staple of our childhood, Trl.

Some networks wait a lifetime for a moment like this.
ABC has tried for nearly 20 years to launch a hit music competition series. Now, it has finally acquired one: “American Idol,” which ended its run last year on Fox, will relaunch next spring on the network. Details are slim, including new judges and who will host. (“Idol” veteran Ryan Seacrest, now firmly a part of the ABC family as co-host of “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” was not mentioned in the press release.) But the network and producers FremantleMedia North America and Core Media Group made the announcement Tuesday morning.
ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey called “American Idol” a “pop-culture staple that left the air too soon,” while Ben Sherwood, co-chairman, Disney Media Networks and president, Disney/ABC, said the show “is an entertainment icon, and now it will air where it belongs, in ABC’s lineup of addictive fan...

Image Source: Getty / Mark Weiss Music producer Lou Pearlman passed away in prison on Friday, and his sudden death is being met with conflicting emotions from former members of the boy bands he managed back in the mid-'90s and early 2000s. Lou was serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, TX, for a number of fraud charges, including money laundering, conspiracy, and bank schemes; in 2008, he was convicted of cheating various investors out of more than $300 million. In addition to managing *Nsync and the Backstreet Boys, Lou Pearlman also oversaw the careers of O-Town, Lfo, and Aaron Carter. Image Source: Getty / Evan Agostini A handful of Lou's former artists took to social media over the weekend to share thoughts about his passing. Justin Timberlake tweeted, "I hope he found some peace," while his fellow *Nsync bandmate Lance Bass remarked, "He might not have been a stand up businessman,...

Ashley Parker Angel probably won your heart back in the day for his good looks and even better singing voice in the boy band O-Town, but after they broke up in 2003, Ashley seemed to exit our lives just as quickly as he entered. Despite documenting his pursuit of solo stardom on the short-lived MTV show There & Back in 2006, Ashley remained mostly under the radar . . . until now. Thanks to the beautiful power of social media, Ashley hasn't been shy about sharing extremely racy photos with his Instagram followers (as well as the occasional life update). In addition to posting about his journey on a fitness challenge, Ashley also shares pictures of his time playing Fiyero in the Broadway musical Wicked, his beach runs, plus some Nsfw bedroom (and bathroom) snapshots. What happens when Nsync's Joey Fatone, 90-Degrees' Jeff Timmons, O-Town's Erik Michael Estrada and Backstreet Boys' Aj Mclean get together? They reminisce about their boy band past, of course! The teen idols all stopped by "Dancing With the Stars" this week, where they shared some fun facts that '90s music fanatics might not know. The guys fielded questions from fans, including one about how each of their bands got their names. "Our name is the last letters of our first names," Fatone explained. "We used to call Lance 'Lanston.' So, Justin for the 'n,' Chris for the 's,' Joey for the 'y' and so on." "We were shooting the 'Making the Band' show in Orlando. They didn't have a name for it yet -- everyone's nickname for Orlando was 'O-Town,' so they called it 'The O-Town Project,'" Estrada said.
