Almost perfect (I prefer the Complete Saga)

I really enjoyed this game. As a Star Wars fan I was really hyped for this game and I played the first two episodes with my friend. It was fun, action packed, the humor fit in pretty well and the puzzled were 100% Lego style.

The idea of an open world Lego Star Wars game was a very good one and the result shows why. With a huge character roster, a great variety of bonus levels and side quests, tons of planets to explore and a wide selection of starships the galaxy is basically yours for the taking.

On a technical point of view, I played this on an Xbox Series S and it runs smoothly. The controls are pretty smooth and reactive and the graphics and textures look really good.

But all this wonderful content doesn't blind me to its weaknesses.

As a fan many of my problems were the lack in the episodes. For example, there are so many great moments that could have been included in the game like the space battle at the start of Revenge Of The Sith. Instead, they just fitted all in a cutscene of just a few seconds.

Another issue (maybe it was only me) but episode 5 was REALLY buggy. I had to either constantly die or reset the game to play normally.

The last issue was the inclusion of the sequels. Nah I'm trolling. On a serious note though, my main problem was the fact that the game was WAY to easy. Especially in the original trilogy. Just for some context, I usually suck at video games. But in this game there were some bosses that I was literally able to beat in less of a minute. Take for example the Boba Fett boss battle in Return Of The Jedi. His AI seemed to be made on purpose to be dumb. I stood literally stood still most of the time and just completely missed and he rarely attacked.

Honestly this wouldn't be an issue for me if there was an option to increase difficulty. I understand why this wasn't a thing though because this game was made during the pandemic and for what we got it's a pretty good game.

Overall, this game is recommended for any Star Wars fan both young and old, Lego fans, and for kids. If you get the chance I recommend it.
