Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)

Solid 7/10 for me BUT.

While this series does tie up some missing time between the movies, it also leaves even more plot holes behind, and to give us a peurile 6 episodes is punishable by exile to one of Jupiter's moons. Also while Kenobi has been in hiding ALONE for so long, why stop using the force, his connection now is about as good as Ukraine and Russia atm, I see NO reason why he would stop connecting with his Master or Stop using the force in any way whilst alone in his hovel. Disney we the fans deserve better from its 2nd half.

Mad God (2021)

Throwback to a Film era best left behind.

IMO, Mad God is an ode to a past way of filming, that's best left to school projects and in some dusty unsused 80s recording studio.

I an age where cgi can bring things to life upon the screen, why go back.

But full credits to the makers, Stop Start filming is a laborious task that they stuck to.

The Batman (2022)

Surprisingly Good.

Being a Batman fan, and loving the previous movies with Christian Bale & Ben Affleck (Yes Ben Affleck) whom many didn't like, I'd heard many negative things about this movie, so watched without great expectations, but wow was i happily supprised, Yes I was.

Robert Pattinson played the role very good, and the Darker take on Gotham fitted perfectly into the DC universe, I hope to see a sequel in the making soon, give it a watch it's action filled and loaded with intrigue.

Ad Astra (2019)

I'll be basic so as not to waste your time, goog actor's Great visuals, let down by an overly drawn out pretty boring story.

Shame this one could have been so much better.

Halo (2022– )

Good BUT.

Good so far BUT like many tv series they seem to actually think we prefer 1 episode per week, NO copy Sky with the Peacemaker and release them all at once, or at least 3 per week, I grow bored awaiting the new episode and either move on or forget about it. I then just end up waiting until their ALL out then watch em all, so your method of release fails anyway, dragging it out serves No positive purpose.

Peacemaker (2022– )

I started watching Peacemaker with no real high expectations, BUT after the very first episode I was hooked, and binge watched the rest, thanks Sky for releasing the whole season, and not one weekly.

Give it a go it'll supprise you, it has Humour action and good plotlines, the character Vendetta is a great funny addition also. 9/10 from me.

American Siege (2021)

This film is dross, Bruce Willis has entered into the realms of Nick Cage, turning out for any old script that pays.

Least Nick gives out the sporadic lil gem here and there.

The Secrets We Keep (I) (2020)

The SS did some atrocious things in WW2, and having excuses like, "i was just following orders and I'd been on amphetamines and had been up for five nights, is a weak peurile excuse, he deserved all he got.

Karma eventually catches up in one form or another.

Stranger Things (2016–2025)

Good 🛑BUT🛑 kinda spoiler ahead

Loved all first 3 series, with the exception of one BAD detractor.

EVERY creature scene was constantly lit with FLASHING LIGHTS, a Cheap over used effect.

This is worse for me as I'm an Epileptic so I have to squint or avert my eye's, as quite probably thousands of other viewers had to.

I hope Season 4 isn't more of the same , and we can have some properly lit scenes if so it'll get an 8/10.

We thoroughly enjoyed this movie, the actors ALL play their roles well, and there's plenty if action, watch it if your disappointed go watch sound of music this genre obviously isn't for you. A solid 8/10 here.

Please DON'T watch this movie thinking of anything like Jack The Giant Slayer, NO this is Far better IMO.

The whole of this movie is full of metaphors that help many people that watch it. And the acting is great, give it a try.

Raya and the Last Dragon (2021)

Zak Schneider has created a Masterpiece here, the story is now filled out with back stories, and the whole look and feel is gritty and Darker, after all this isn't a Disney Marvel movie is it, it's DC. Love it totally worth a watch and a BIG thanks to Zak for making it.👏🏼

The little hark backs to the funny original were slightly humorous, but the rest was hampered by the terrible CGI, and the introduction of the Genx character was 😩 PLEASE stop force feeding us this NOW, your ruining your own movies.

Space Sweepers (2021)

I watched Space Sweepers with my family, and we ALL agreed it's time well spent. The English language version was so well done, it became unnoticeable. For their 1st big outing, this Korean movie well deserves a sequel.👏🏼

So many armchair critics give bad reviews, take it how it comes, and stop comparing it to other films, only then will you enjoy it. My advice make a drink and enjoy it WITHOUT comparing it, yes it's not a Casino Royal but we'll worth a solid 7/10.

Paranormal (2020)

While I enjoyed Paranormal, the lead character Recast, caused me to only rate it a 6/10. His sheer stubbornness to adhere to scepticism, constantly causes problem after problem, that he refuses to learn from. But other than that, it's well worth a watch.

This series is actually quite good, each episode brings something new, and the characters play their parts well. BUT me and it's my problem, I just don't like Subtitles, and feel that my score of 6/10 is probably lower than it should be.

Unhinged for me was one of the best movies I've seen this year, the sheer ferocity of Russel crow, and pace of the Movie kept me glued throughout, watch it you WON'T regret it.

Yes I kinda enjoyed Love & Monsters, BUT the lead character played by Dylan O'Brien, was immensely frustrating by his momentous ineptitude. (LIL SPOILER). The events depicted in the movie, take place 7 years after the events that caused the insects to grow, BUT it would appear Joel has learned absolutely nothing about how to survive. Just imagine your playing a really tough RPG game, set on extra hard and the companion your given, is the level 1 village idiot, (That's Joel). But other than Joel's complete ineptitude, the movies worth a watch, given a 6/10 because of Joel.🤣

2067 (2020)
