Pretty Smart (2021)

pretty good I would say.

This is not 'The office' or 'Modern Family'. My first statement is for those who are scoring this as 1-2 just because it is not the pinnacle of the TV. Everything does not need to be "The Best". Its a good show with likeable characters and a cute little premise.

Except Emily Osment, who cannot show any range of emotions, every actor and character have their own life's and are likeable. The laugh tracks could have been done away with though. The ending of season 1 was a neat hook, while generic, nicely used and as I said previously, it doesn't need to be world altering.

One more thing that I loved about this show is that it doesn't push any hidden agenda. If you want to start a decent light comedy show, this could be a good pick.

Great News (2017–2018)

Started out fun, season two was just a downfall

Season one seemed like a light hearted fun series with good enough/decent characters. A show which you can watch having dinner and chill.

The second season started with bad writing and a LOT of propaganda as if the actual show is dead and just "girl boss this and girl boss that". Why do they have to ruin everything. Why do some of these feminists think that the whole world is out to get them and they are prying just to stay above ground. Let's assume for a second that is true, then please go do you activism elsewhere. Please don't ruin perfectly good TV shows with the "message" and ruin it for everyone.

Dahaad (2023– )

A very good watch.

Wow. Seriously didn't knew Sonakshi Sinha could act so well. The story, pacing of it and the way it was shown was so engaging and exciting that it kept me glued to the screen the whole time. Whenever Vijay Sharma came on screen all eyes were on him, his performance is on another level. Although all the side characters had good dialogues and were not neglected. One police officer had a sweet wholesome side arc which showed his growth in a beautiful way. Overall a great one time watch about a gruesome murder thriller case which is based upon real events (does really shocks you when you read about it in times of India).

Obviously it has flaws like the finale seemed streched, sometimes the screen went too dark and was unable to see stuff happening. No piece of art is perfect, but still I can open heartily recommend it.

Superstore (2015–2021)

De-railed a LOT.

First season started off with a decent premise. The second and third were also okay-ish like something you watch just to pass your time or lighten the mood. But after the third season I think they just continued it for the money. Cause the show had no structure, no particular storyline that it followed and overall more importantly it got so boring and unbearable to watch. The characters which were fun to watch in the starting seasons gained no archs/backstories or any meaningful growth. They remained one dimensional.

Eternals (2021)

One of the worse movies in the MCU genre

I could sum up the whole movie in one word - boring. We can argue about the amazing CGI or the runtime being long, whatever maybe the internals of the movie. Any movie of any genre should have have the bare minimum of thing i.e. Entertainment, which this movie completely lacked.

F Is for Family (2015–2021)

A great show.

I thought this was gonna be a just an average one time watch thing but I couldn't have been more wrong. The story writting and character development were so well treated and at an Excellent pace. Bill burr really surprised me. Overall the main thing, it was also really hilarious. Every episode packed a nice punch.

The Good Wife (2009–2016)

It works and I love it!

The story is hardly anything new but the way it is executed has such a charm to it. Best part of the whole series- very entertaining. The acting was decent overall while the protagonist took the crown. She was straight up awesome. The character developments, plot lines and daily shenanigans moved like clock work and gave a very fine show which is still quite re watchable.

JL50 (2020– )

India's best.

India's entertainment scene is evolving at such a good rate. These kinds of shows are a proof of that. Such an awesome concept and storyline. While the series could have been better in a few aspects ( the speed and length). The songs, scenes, acting and the concept more than makes up for it. It's a calm series and an easy recommendation. I would dearly like to thank the makers of series to take such a good risk.

Karenjit Kaur - The Untold Story of Sunny Leone (2018– )

Was bored in quarantine and gave this a shot. I do not regret my decision. It was funny ,heart touching (at moments) and most importantly entertaining. The show is a reflection of how the life we live is just a chain of decisions and chances and I loved it.

A Little Late with Lilly Singh (2019–2021)

God this is the worst night show I have ever seen. When I switch on the TV I want entertainment with a little of what going around us in the world... I dont want to hear you whine about how bad you have gotten it as a brown person and because of your gender how many difficulties you have to face. For that go to your friends. For your audience make a good show or quit!

Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones (2019 TV Special)

The best thing on Netflix!

I mean the set was real tight...all the jokes landed wonderfully and just LOVED the way Dave messed with the PC people. The only problem with it was it was just an hour long. If you haven't watched it...then stop whatever you are doing RN and go watch it.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi (2019)

My thoughts-Kangana's acting was exceptional as Rani Laxmi and there were some really brilliant scenes too that captured patriotism beautifully. Lekin as a person who doesn't goes to movies regularly, I feel there were many negative things about the movie too. Like the movie felt streched and tiring as it inched towards the conclusion. And as pointed out by the critics(Rajeev masand& Anupama chopra), the supporting roles had little to no screen time in such a huge runtime, which made kangana ,even though excellent,a bit tiresome to watch. Plus the below average VFX(even by Bollywood standards) and age old clumsiness of Brits portrayal didn't help either. Strictly for an entertainment purpose (the actual reason of existence of movies) and if removing the nationalism angle- I wouldn't recommend this movie. However due to kangana's phenomenal acting and the legend of the Rani herself, you won't be too disappointed if you decide to give it your 3 hours and money. All the best 🙏

Girls Hostel (2018– )

The series is sweet and simple. I think this is my favourite part about it; the series doesn't tries to solve world problems or women inequality. It just portrays them as it is in a very fun and humours way. Plus the way of narration from a normal and aspiring girl done in a very suitable way was pleasantly satisfying. The cast was effective and even the supporting actor had passion and weren't one toned. Every episode packs a punch, with many witty dialogues, fun plots and thankfully no overacting (,overdrama) and no cringy love story. The series is funny, will always leave you in chuckles and totally worthy of binge watching.

Sacred Games (2018–2019)

Didn't know what to except but the series delivered fantastically.

The series will ALWAYS keep you on the edge of your seat and is filled with action. The best part about this series (also the reason for 10 stars) is that I couldn't find a single moment where it bored me or made me skip a second. The only downside...... If you watch the 1st episode you feel compelled to complete the series (yeah it's that good!).
