Big Shots (2001)
Russian Mafia Characters seem like Pretend Italians
Russian Mafia..its sounding more pathetic every time i see it. leave the mafia bosses for the Italian-Americans. It sure makes the movie a lot more better when the Mafia Boss is an Italian. Russian characters seem to be all Godfather & Italian copy-cats. I'm totally getting sick of all these Russian Mafia characters, directors must think the viewers are stupid, as the majority of the Human race will realize that all there trying to do is make it look like some character out of the Godfather. Personally, i wont take out a film from now on if I've heard it features Russian gangsters. I hope we get to see more real mafia bosses in the future, as there the characters the viewers want to see. Not some Russian thinking hes in the Italian Mob.
Mambo Italiano (2003)
Would have been better if there were some Mafia Bosses involved
The movie seemed pretty dull from start to end. It needed a little more action top pump it up. Would have been a lot more exciting if there was a local Mafia Boss (Canada's own Vito Rizzuto The real Life Montreal Godfather) now that would have really pumped it up and given it that little more excitement the movie needed. Also, why to film directors & Producers keep putting anglo-saxon actors in a role for an Italian ??? I can understand if there weren't many Italian-American characters in this country, but were loaded with them. Apart from Paul Sorvino & Claudia Ferri, i don't think there was any. It certainly makes more of an impact when there are at least Italian Looking actors playing the role of an Italian Character. I have no idea why more Italians weren't used !!!!
Be Cool (2005)

Prison Break (2005)
John Abruzzi- Mafia boss is Great !!
Great Drama & Peter Stomare plays the Character of Former Chicago Mafia Boss John Abruzzi so well. Great to see another Mafia Character on Television. We can never have enough of the classic Mafioso if hes on the street like Tony Soprano or in prison like John Abruzzi. Apart from being excited every time i see John Abruzzi and fellow Mafia associates like Philly Falzone played by Al Sapienza, The series is a hit. I've seen nothing like it, and personally i hope its around for a long time. Its also very addictive and i already cant wait for the next episode. This is one of the best drama series I've ever seen. Ripper of a series, maybe one day we may see a film with the same characters including John Abruzzi.
