I have watched this sci-fi flick at least 5 times and enjoy it every time. I like how innovative he was in setting up his residence to keep The Family at bay. I have always wondered what he would do when his food stash ran out and the stuff in stores started expiring. I also don't understand how he kept putting himself in harms way by staying out until dark. Another thing that puzzled me was why he did not kill The Family when they came around at night? He had a sniper rifle with night light. He could have been rid of them in a couple of evenings. Still this was a very good story about "the last man on earth".

Decent story of cavalry & Indians

I enjoyed this one despite the typical mistakes in actual history. It is set around 1860 and everyone on both sides has repeating rifles. The actual Mangus Colorado died a horrible death in 1863 at the hand of soldiers. However he was well over 60 when he died, not the strapping character portrayed in the movie.
The O.C.
(2003–2007)
A nice break from today's TV
22 December 2021
This series popped up as a 'You might like this" so I have given it a try, So far, so good with a good story line and characters.
I finished up the original Roswell series a while back and while watching the O. C. I got to thinking I had seen the plot before in Roswell.
The outcast boy (alien in the case of Roswell) meets and falls in love with the popular girl in high school causing her to break up with her big jock on campus boyfriend. Big jock has several confrontations with the new boyfriend. Later on, jock boyfriend becomes a friend. Meanwhile the new boy's sidekick (fellow alien in Roswell) falls in love with popular girl's also popular best friend. And so it goes. I will keep watching because I do like the stories.
I have just finished the series and was really pleased that I took the time to watch. A lot of things happened in the first 3 seasons mostly dealing with the yo-yo romance of Ryan and Marissa which was annoying at times. The parenting of Sandy & Kirsten was fantastic and showed that there are differences and disagreements among couples, unlike 50s TV families, but love always wins out.
On casting I thought Marissa was mis-cast. I think Mischa Barton was too tall and skinny to be cast as the most popular girl in school. She just didn't come across as sexy. I saw several other actresses throughout the series who would have been a better fit. I really enjoyed all of the other characters and the actors who played them. The biggest waste was the character Che, so annoying.
All in all I would highly recommend watching this series.

Its the government
20 October 2021
Well 4 episodes in we find out that the government has knowledge of prior sinkhokes and has sent teams in them before. So it looks like our group will be now be facing Beasts from 10 000AD and some secret govt squad. I doubt we will see a season 2.
Mayberry Got Political
20 September 2021
In all of the years of the Andy Griffith Show politics never was part of the program except when Barney ran for sheriff. Ted Koppel who hosted the segement on Mt Airy/Mayberry and the popularity of TAGS 50+ years after being canceled did just that. Sadly he injected the 2020 election into a group riding a tourist trolley and ruining the segment for me.
The Good Fight
(2017–2022)
Get rid of the political BS and F Bombs.
4 January 2021
Seasons 1 & 2 were really entertaining, but since then its been on a slippery downhill slide with the constant Trump bashing that has nothing to do with a legal drama. Also I can't imagine a high profile law firm being laced with F Bombs such as heard on the Good Fight. Clean up your act and get back to entertaining.

A step down from The Good Wife
23 August 2020
I have continued to watch this spinoff although it is NO Good Wife and am getting tired of all the F-Bombs that get thrown on every episode and really do nothing to add to the stories. I would imagine if I visited a high power law firm every day for a year I would not hear as many are dropped in one episode. The random cartoons are also annoying as is the endless Trump bashing (no not a Trump supporter) and ridiculing. Diane's fully clothed sex scenes are also really a hoot. Season 4 is a little better and more watchable.
Blindspot
(2015–2020)
Time for this one to end
12 June 2020
Fortunately this is the final season of Blindspot as it has really gone downhill in the past 2 seasons before this one. What was an intriguing plot about solving crimes and helping people it has fallen into another evil government trying to stop or destroy our heroes, ala Person of Interest where a super computer helped put bad guys(and gals) away and help victims avoid being victims. It eventually descended into an us versus evil people in gov't. So yes it is time for Blindspot to move into television history.
It Chapter Two
(2019)
True Disappointment
18 September 2019
Thoroughly enjoyed the TV movie and Chapter 1, but left the theater after Ch. 2 shaking my head. It started out really slow, but did get going later and the story got interesting. Then the excess CGI monsters came out adding un-needed minutes, taking away from the story. Then I couldn't wait for IT to end. Very disappointing sequel to a great story.
Pretty Weak
1 September 2019
This is one of the lamest episodes in the 77 series. The opening sets looked like the streets of New York and later switched to a more Casablanca like area. Sorry this one should have been left on the cutting room floor.
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
