Left-wing lies
28 December 2018
It breaks my heart to see such a funny comedy like Jimmy Carr sell his soul to the left just to make a quick buck.

Wasn't funny in any way, the delivered lines were horrendous

Just another left-wing indoctrination program because the right are rising and they're terrified.

Brilliant show
3 February 2016
I didn't expect to enjoy this, only knew one actor (Daniel from Lost, which is why I tried this) but this is a very cool show. Has a lot of action, crime and A LOT of comedy. My favorite 3.

The banter between Steve and Daniel is gold, the physical comedy reminds me of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia a bit. The episode they get stranded at sea is hilarious.

All the main characters are extremely likable, usually with every TV show there's always at least 1 character I don't like. Not just the good guys either, but the bad guys who appear over the course of the show are likable too, especially Sang Min, very funny character. I actually want them to evade whatever member(s) of the team are chasing them just so they'll re-appear later on.

The whole thing with Steve's mom I thought was a bit boring though

I would of liked to have seen Sang Min and Kamekona in it a bit more, especially Sang Min.

But yh, great show.

Why is it always the good shows that get cancelled
27 January 2016
I've never seen a show that has been cancelled at a worse time. The way season 2 ended was awesome and I was so looking forward to season 3 but 'ey.

The reason I watched this is because Jimmi Simpson, huge fan of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and I wanted to see him in more stuff so I checked this out and it is....AWESOME. I was always looking for another prison show after Prison Break

It took a while to like the characters, especially Ray, but they grow on you eventually.

The ways the runners escape are very entertaining, it's the thing I looked forward to the most.

I like how Jules hasn't got an over-the-top computer set-up either like Garcia in Criminal Mind for example, makes for a nice change. This shows feels a lot more earthy and real compared to other criminal catching shows like NCIS/Criminal Minds etc.

The whole '1 month of your sentence per escaped criminal you catch' is very cool too.

Raising Hope (2010–2014)

Incredible show just one problem...
24 December 2015
The main thing in the show is Jimmy and Hope, the description on this site is "Jimmy becomes a single parent to an infant after the mother he had a one-night stand with ends up on death row.".

I personally don't care too much about Jimmy's situation due to the extreme likability of Burt and Virginia and as I watched more and more episodes I saw the focus move to them more and in a lot of episodes Hope was just dumped of at day care or something. Then Shannon Woodard (Sabrina) came in started appearing more often and it took even more attention away from Jimmy and Hope.

Burt & Virginia are the best couple on TV I've ever seen. I had no idea who Martha Plimpton (Virginia) was until this show but she is amazing. I'd love to see a show where it's just those 2 going about their lives.

But yh, I could go on all day about this show. It's incredible so give it a go!

Pleasant surprise

Amazingggggg show.

I NEARLY enjoyed this as much as NCIS.

My favorite thing was there wasn't much, if any politics (so far). Politics in shows like this are so boring in my opinion, it just gets in the way.

All the characters are very likable, especially Kim & Kevin and Trudy. They all provide a little bit of comedy to the show which is nice in shows like this. As partners Kim & Kevin go well but Trudy is my favorite.

But ya, great show, I'd definitely recommend watching it, it's a lot more violent than any other criminal busting show I've seen and the plots seem to vary more.

Hank, the leader, is so refreshing. He just doesn't care, shooting unarmed suspects, beating people up with his bare hands, taking money from criminals. It's great, it's the stuff I personally want to see, not always following this strict code. IT'S TV, NOT REAL LIFE.

Shame there's only 4 seasons.

Starts of bad, but it's getting better
4 December 2015
The pilot episode for this was dreadful in my opinion, I enjoyed no aspect of it, the acting/characters/plot/script. The character Ryan was so unbelievably unlikable even without doing anything to bring on such a feeling towards her.

But you can't judge a series by 1 episode so I watched the second episode and it got a bit better, then third a bit bitter, fourth a bit better and so on.

The acting, plot, script and characters got a lot better as I got further into the first series. Especially Ryan, the pilot episode, I was thinking "can she just go somewhere that isn't here?" but now she's become a fairly likable character.

Overall, it's an OK show, nowhere near as good as NCIS/LA, CSI NY/Miami and so on but it's a good time killer and has some cool episodes.

Remember, watching the pilot probably won't make you want to watch anymore but give it a chance, it's just my opinion but it does get better. :)

Amazing show, there was just one thing I disliked

Warning: Spoilers
Chris and LL go perfectly together. Despite not being my favorite show like this overall, they're my favorite duo, their characters go together so well and it causes for some very funny insults/jokes between the 2 and great teamwork in the field.

The show for me picked up when Eric came in (Deeks). I think Deeks is so funny and he can take a joke, for example when he gets tortured and his mouth is all messed up and Callen wears the crooked teeth and asked if it's too soon and Deeks just laughs. And Sam does something before but I can't remember the scene exactly, but it's something like that. Very funny! The first episode he was in I was really hoping he would join the team and I'm so glad he did. Even though it was very enjoyable before, I enjoyed the show so much more with Deeks in it.

Only thing I didn't really enjoy was the on-going story with Callens family, I just thought it was a bit cringe and sometimes boring but that's just my opinion. Doesn't take anything away from the extreme likability of his character though.

Gang Related (2014)

One of my favorite shows
26 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
This is an unbelievable show.

The way the story develops I thought was excellent and Ramon, who plays Lopez, is an incredible character and actor, especially in episode 7 of season 1.

I've seen a few bad reviews and I think (not just with this show) people concentrate on the specifics and let it ruin it for them. Like how gamers say unrealistic games ruins them. Shut up and just enjoy it for what it is.

This show has action, drama, a bit of comedy every now and then. It has secrets and lies and when there are scenes involving the secrets/lies like when Jessica finds Ryan's bag towards the end of season 1 with pictures of him and Javier it keeps me hooked on what may happen next.

Since it seems good shows get cancelled I'm not expecting a season 2 but I really hope there will be, especially with how season 1 ended.

Truly incredible show, I wasn't actually going to watch this as I'm not into the whole gang thing too much, but I saw some of the actors in it such as, Sung Kang, Terry O'Quinn and I'm not sure what his real name is but Sucre from Prison Break and gave it a chance and man I am so glad I did.

Very good !

I see a lot of people complaining about how it's horrible to the kids, the kids are horrible anyway, some even after they go in. I know they're young but some of the stuff they do is terrible.

I absolutely loved this show, it was nice to watch a couple of episodes whilst laying in bed falling asleep and finishing what I missed in the morning.

I'm only up to season 4 but I'll watch the rest eventually.

The criminals stories are interesting too, how it started out so small but turned into something life changing.

Hopefully this goes on for a LONG TIME!

Awesome show! :)
17 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Raymond 'Red' Reddington is an INCREDIBLY interesting character and by far my favorite in the show and my second favorite overall, behind Gibbs (NCIS)

The criminals he baits out are interesting too. I've been waiting for a good show where criminals actually commit their acts. I've seen a few, but not to the extent of some of the ones in this show. CSI NY/NCIS you see it, but it's only ever at the start in most episodes then it's the team solving it.

Anyway, because of this I'll always remember Season 1, Episode 7, Frederick Barnes (No.47), I was watching it and thought "Ahh, he won't be killing anyone. The other side will get there a split second before like most other shows and movies and stop him" but I'm happy to admit I was VERY wrong.

Definitely give this show a chance if you haven't already. I personally loved it and watched season 1 and 2 back to back over a weekend haha. Haven't done that since NCIS ^.^
