Breaking Bad (2008–2013)

The best and the perfect

I was stuck with GOT, then the ending disappointed me. Then I was recently watching The 100s and I really likes it till the after the second season when Clark and Abby appeared to painfully annoying and then it kept drowning. OMG why I kept ignoring this? Thanks to my friend who made me watching the first episode, then you know, I believe you know what happened, I literally stuck with it with all of my likeliness. This is the best series I ever saw, and I dare to say it is the best series ever created, The characters by Bryan and Aaron are so perfect and the story, writing acting everything is perfect. You will love it and I know you already love it.

Indeed the show is good and fun to watch but only if you have tolerance to keep watching the most annoying character, yes I mean Clark and also her mother Abby. The somehow ruin the fun, explaiinded by many others here. If you watch Clark's face whenever she talks, you will see the head either moving up and down (yes) or ight-left (no). Its hardly any scene where she doesnt do that, Thaat makes her character one who always think she is always right and others are wrong. OK, here and there its OK, but keep watching useless dialogues and yes/no movement made me so upset, that after season 3, whenever Clark or Abby start talking, I got busy myself something else. Else the show is good.

Waste of time

Imagine 6 terrorists in a truck and 2 terrorists in a car all with sun-machineguns and firing/killing every living thing in their path, shooting heavily on cilvilians and killed them earlier, yet ou hero with a pistol which had only 1 or 2 bullets left, is chasing them, avoiding all of heavy bursts magically, omg thats a true failry tail, no my mistake, its like some lonely tunes cartoon. And the terrorists AKA 47s were bult in a way that they kill any person other than our hero. OMG, thats all. here I stopped watching this and fast forward just to see a scene where Joanna Pacula invites our hereo. The truth is I just wanted to see Joanna Pacula, but this highly intelligent film even stopped me to watch any further. Hope you get the rest.

old B-Class story twists

So many childish twists that just bored the viewer. Old style story twists, everything needed just suddenly somehow appears just to support this s!lly story go on. Only watchable if you have any attachment with old school actors. Some special effects are however admirable having considering the time (90's). I rate it 5/10

Not so good rather annoying

The story is nothing special, its old repeated so many times nazi-zombi experiment now-boring plot. It could be not so bad if the Boyce character seems a little bit less annoying, he acts like he has taken a high dose of Ritalin, hyperactive yet doing silly things. Boyce acting doesn't fit in the presented scenario.

Best Man Down (2012)

Marvellous and captivating

What a wonderful and marvellous film. A simple story yet powerful enough to keep your interest from beginning to end. It is kinda film that make you delightful and light and there are not so many of this type. It is also funny at moments, oh look at Kristin's (Jess Weixler) face in the car when Ramsey said its 2 hour drive, and "What is caftan?". Good acting overall and good direction. I like it, it gave me one of my best entertaining moments.

Bad Times at the El Royale (2018)

Incredible, amazing, astonishing and beautiful

This kind of movie you won't see more often. It is really astonishing, will capture you with its thrill, suspense, mystery, passion, with solid performance from Jeff Bridges and Lewis Pullman (Miles). The story is nearly unpredictable, will keep you at the edge of your chair from start to its end, I am also a huge fan of Jeff Bridges and he always impresses me, no doubt he is a great actor with unique mesmerizing style. The ending made me cry. I can't remember when I cried last time like this. And I want to share my experience here. I always thought stupid about confession, but now I believe in it, its the only thing we all need if we are righteous. Go watch it, they wont make films like this often.

No offense but... is this you called a comedy?

By reading those tremendous "reviews" it seems this film is something special, look at the weightage they gave, like "surprisingly pleasant", and "One of the 10 best cinematic chronology crunchers ever made" and "a great British comedy". Taking some bit and pieces from other movies and making comedy in a toilet is just disgusting. No way its watchable, just waste of time, looks like a stage show. Nothing attracts and boring dialogues and random illogical scenes, only the audience have to think and give it a story, and that kind of audience happens to reside in a small place. Not an entertainment.

So Natural

From where I start, well the only thing that came is that this is so natural, I mean the acting, the story, the characters everything is great, but I dont wanna talk about al those things, I just want to say that this movie is so touching, it is funny and at the same time it made me cry. Especially, the mom-son relationship and love, oh my God, and the friendship. While I was watching this movie I was planning how would I write a review, gathering topics, because it was so pleasant and touching in every aspect. When I came to IMDB, I read those remarkable reviews nd I second them and I think there is no need to add from my lack of words thoughts, I assure you, this kind of movie, you will love it.

thrill-packed entertaining sci-fi drama

It has been a long time there is some genuine sci-fi film that is not out-of-logic or fantasy oriented super heroes kind of thing. This is certainly different, contains action, thrill, drama with a touch of sci-fi, and best of all, showing good moral intuition. All characters appears to be real, good acting and nothing is annoying. A good entertaining 1h 42min.

How a serious movie turn into a joke

Despite all of funny moments, action scenes and thrill, it is just a wrong film. I try to explain that. The Predator's audience are not fun lover kids that like to see Thor in action, Hulk roaring, and Avengers doing save the Earth stuff, neither they are exaggerating themselves to watch some funny characters with music and dance to save the galaxy. "The Pedator" (the original) evolved because of its seriousness and horror-packed thrill, and that is what its audience like. When I started watching this , all was OK until that chopper lands and soldiers scattered then a guy (Traeger) with chewing gum came out and giving them instruction.... what he would have given them before landing or at least before they scattered. So what the.....? After 2 or three same out of mind and logic acts, I stopped thinking and said, OK that is what that is, lets have fun with it and don't burden on my brain. But as it went, it appeared to be more annoying than a fun delivering show. Look at the Lab scene, where unconscious predator was lying and they were doing some lab tests on him, the same guy there, munching, i mean chewing the chewing gum, so annoying and doesn't make any sense, BECAUSE in all labs, munching is seriously prohibited, I know because I work in a Pharma lab. Also this guy does not fit in that character, he is more like a comedian, oh wait, that's what they are trying to do? Yes it has its funny moments and jokes and they are not bad, but they just doesn't fit with "The Predator" line. WHY THEY DID THIS? The original Predator (1978) was a classic top movie in all aspects and one of the top in its genre, yet it did not get the same attention and fame as compared to The Avengers, Guardian of the galaxy, Hulk, and Thor franchise. What I concluded is this. After the success and popularity of Avengers and The Guardian of the galaxy, they thought to turn that serious stuff into a comedy like action pack to gain popularity, but they did not consider the audience, who had been attached to the seriousness and horror of The Predator. This movie just made a fun of those serious audience. It failed because they try to copy the theme of some kids movie and turn a precarious story into a joke. The film is not bad, but it just not fits itself in that specific environment and it ruined the Predator essence. It is so bad that I consider it just like giving a serious incidence a comedic style. I just get disappointed.

Yes, it is what it is, and I enjoyed watching. Don't believe critics, the gonna criticize and we gonna like, because it gave me one and a half hour of joy and I felt very light headed all the time yet to kept the interest growing. If you like light romantic movie, you will definitely love it, just not for action/crime/sci-fi lovers

I watched this movie almost 10 years ago and since then I watched it many times whenever I need some refreshment, and believe me it is so refreshment. Very light, funny and adorable. The three friend make such a funny team and acting is good. I wish they make more of like this.

I watched First Light and it left me in comma. Because of this comma I could fully watch it. For me its shallow and C-Class movie with bad script and dialogues irrelevant to what the story want to go. On the other hand the story is par. The acting is annoying, especially of the lead teen boy. The idea is too much used that it offers nothing and adds nothing.

Unique in all aspects

I gave it 9 out of 10. Why? Because not only this wonderful film is so attractive throughout the story, it does have a mind blowing idea with totally mesmerized story and in this regard it is certiainly a unique film. It touches deep down in your brain provoking those hidden question which are hidden and tells what possibly be an alternative explanation. I love that and I love this film. Acting is perfect in my opinion and the script totally justifies with the story. I strongly recommend it. And after writing this review, I just changed my mind, I am going to give it 10/10.

Skyscraper (2018)

Thriller at its top... a M ust Watch

Although I dont like action movies very much, but to be honest, this movie didn't let me leave m chair. From start to end it is captivating. It is packed with action, breathtaking thrill, suspense, stunning visual effects, and on top of this, there is The Rock, as good as always. And I noticed in this movie, Dwayne is a decent and good actor, far better the Arnold and Sylvester. Negative responders didn't like this for God knows whatever the reason except they actually don't like the genre, so, why they bother even to watch this stunning movie? This movie fully justifies its genre, a must watch

First of, the name of this film reminds me James Mangold's 2001 master piece "3:10 to Yuma" (starring Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, Ben Foster...). Now when you try to become great by copying/matching a great name, it never works. The film is far from reality. I am a great fan of Clint Eastwood (as a great director) but this didn' t convince me his directorship. Not worse, but an average. 5.5/10

Death Wish (2018)

We thought Bruce is no more an action star, we thought its the end of his carrier. BUT after watching Death Wish, all just vanished. This provides great entertainment and fun. The script is cleverly wrapped around a simple story and then glorified by Bruce's great performance. Indeed this feels like good old days action entertainment, Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed

As I said, it is very entertaining, funny, interesting and a very good movie! and I couldn't understand why some people criticize and rated it very low, I assure you this is a very entertaining movie I watched in years, brilliant acting, excellent script and it will not let you leave your chair until you finish watching it. I gave it 9 not because I want to bring it up from under-rating, but I actually think it deserves 9/10

Nothing in it, no art, no story nothing

This is just a waste of time, nothing else. Some fakers try to fool others by saying it as an Art "marvel", just read those review, some of them are word-to-word duplicates posted by different names. I have nothing to say as some posters like Theo Robertson and The_Sceptic19 already posted very good reviews, I second them, and to fill this review I take some of their words: What I really hate about it is that there is absolutely no substance to the movie . David Hemmings plays a photographer called Thomas who smokes hash , has sex with a model , sees some mime artists driving past , smokes some more hash , has sex with a couple of models , smokes some more hash and sees some mime artists driving past again . That's it , that's the plot of the movie and don't be fooled by the promotional con trick that states this is a murder thriller because this is only a minor subplot that really goes nowhere . To tell the truth BLOWUP is a load of 1960s crap made by pretentious snobs who were no doubt looking down their noses at commercial British blockbusters like ZULU , ALFIE and the James Bond movies . It also contains just about the worst ending I've ever seen in a British movie - Theo Robertson

I was forced to sit through this in a film class, and it was by far the worst film that I have ever seen. This film made me wish that I was watching Battlefield Earth. This movie made the Cable Guy look like a work of art. I can not express in words my contempt for this film. The plot was fragmented and went nowhere. There really was no point to this movie. Characters were added and dropped constantly for no purpose. Portions of the plot that seemed to be important at the time were dropped and never mentioned again. This movie did everything wrong!!! And the last scene was simply confusing, pointless and offered no sense of closure whatsoever!!! DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! -- genocidal6 watch this only to regret

A Good Entertaining Sci-Fi

Warrior (2011)

This will grip your heart

It is not that I am very keen of writing some reviews, I hate that, there are so many others who can write far far better than me and understand far far better than me, I am talking about acting, story, character building, cinematography, music and all other stuff which I, without any doubt, have very less knowledge, if any. But what could I do? When the first half of this movie kept giving me thrilled shocks and brainstormed my conscious to look deeper into human relationship and our deeds, and then, oh my God, the second half I couldn't bear that, the grip is so hard, I was hiding my tears from my wife and kids, but they never stopped, and my wife gave me some tissue papers and said its OK. This hits me really hard. I am not talking about the technical and artistic stuff, this movie is just another thing, it will hit your heart. May be I am just a subtle person, but I just wanna say this is the movie that is gonna crush your heart and you will cry no matter how hard you try, you will cry, guaranteed. A must see movie. The best movie I have seen in this year. 10/10.

This is the best movie I ever watched. I love it. It keeps me at the edge of my chair all the time. No it is not the thrill, but the passion, the humanity, and the love that made me cry many times. Tom Hanks, I love him, at his top performance ( btw he is always). I have actually a one line comment for this movie, "What a movie".

The Discovery (I) (2017)

This movie has its idea as its heart

Not neglecting the negative but solid criticism, yet this is a very good movie. The main idea, the after life, and what the writer thought of it, is amazing, and it was shielded in a pack of mystery and suspense, gave me a thriller many times. Of course it is a very exceptional movie regarding its theme, plot and dramatic events. If you missed, or not accepted the idea of the non-linearity of time, then you may find some flaws in it and you may not understand the whole concept of the movie. Just recall when Harber asks Isla "Do you accept the fact that time is a nonlinear illusion created by man?". The philosophy presented in this movie somewhat resembles Buddhism view of afterlife, so its not merely an atheist point of view (as some reviewers pointed out). It also reminds me of another movie, Contact, but that was far better than this. I voted 8, but that's just to compensate to many "false-negative" things, but this deserves not less than 7/10.
