Trivia

This espionage-comedy has a number of elements in common with the James Bond franchise. The villain is played by Steven Berkoff who played a villain in Octopussy whilst the section chief is played by Timothy Dalton, the former James Bond from The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill. The movie is predominantly set in Venice which is where three Bond pictures have lensed: From Russia with Love, Casino Royale and Moonraker. Of the latter, both this film and that feature the Hotel Danieli. See more »

Goofs

Audio/visual unsynchronized: In the train sequences early on, the trains shown are electric high speed trains. However the sound effects heard during the aerial shots of the trains heading from Paris to Venice are that of diesel power cars of British InterCity 125 trains. Similarly, in the train interior scenes, no overhead power masts can be seen through the windows. The lines from Paris to Venice are all overhead electric powered. See more »
