Escaped Convicts (2008 Video)
1/10
So bad, not even funny bad...just terrible.
18 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This film is so bad it actually hurts to watch it. Two rejects from a pitiful, low budget, mob movie decide to kidnap and rape a woman from a bar, after a bad lesbian bathroom scene, during the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. There is a lot of build up that goes nowhere. The acting is amateurish at best. The camera work shoddy. This movie has no redeeming features, and the blue ray comes with a COMMENTARY and the original movie trailer.

This "movie" (I feel bad calling it one) has only 6 chapters. The special effects are the quality of a 1950's movie. The cover has nothing to do with the movie. You should ask for a refund Before purchasing it.

Camp Murder (2022)

Sad. Just sad.

Well, I didn't expect much going in and that never changed. The movie actually has 14 minutes of previews of there other bad movies at the beginning, so the actual movie is 14 minutes less than advertised. A poor attempt at making a farce of old slasher flicks. Over used jokes, bad acting, deliberate misunderstandings, and over gore filled murders. Nominal plot twists, bad 1980 stereotypes, as well as an obligatory sex scene to round out this disaster. The plot is people at camp being murdered. That's about all your going to get out of this. Stoner, teens, and murderer, oh my. Skip this unless you really don't have anything else to do.

This is a series about a crazy low budget movie being filmed in Brazil.
10 March 2023
Rather odd show, about a low budget movie producer, a con artist actress, and a odd director in an even odder relationships. The movie being filmed is a low budget mild softcore reminiscent of a mild Jesus Franco movie, odd love scenes, chains and very little plot or connection.

The show also jumps around a lot, elements are dropped, other things have little to no explanation. Still I cannot say its not worth watching, as odd as it is it, it still has some history and life storylines that are interesting. Such as trying to get around a censorship system that is both strict and a little ridiculous.

Overall not the worst thing you could spend an afternoon watching, but maybe more of an acquired taste.

This is a very rough diamond that needs a Remake

Warning: Spoilers
This low budget Corman film had everything it needed to make a fantastic movie except a decent cast and better special effects. The scenery was fantastic, I've seen worse alien temples in big budget films. The plot a little thin but workable. Robert Englund shines as his small part is actually well done (Not sure how someone who could act snuck in). Suspense, check, Horrifying moments, check, comedic bits, check. Lead actor who looks like a bad Tom Selleck, and acts like a robot doing a hemorrhoid commercial, sigh, check. This movie is such a mix of good and bad it's kinda in a league by itself. Expound the plot, redo the cheesy parts, swap actors, and definitely keep woman vs giant horny maggot, and you'd have a blockbuster.

Disjointed mess.
9 January 2020
A convoluted mess of an investigation into a woman's disappearance. A maniac with red glowing eyes and a lot of unrelated plot elements lead to an undramatic, underwhelming ending that is sure to bore just about anyone.
