So, let me get this straight. This psycho comes into Cals office waving a gun around and demanding that Cal Lightman needs to rove that he is innocent of murdering his wife. If anyone in Lightman's office doesn't do what he demands he threatens to put a bullet into Cal's head. Thus guy acts like he would kill anyone who gets in the way of having him proved innocent. Then the psycho doesn't approve of Cal's interpretation of the man who he accused of being the real killer. Welllllll While this episode does keep you on the edge of your seat, this guy still looks forward to jail time for his radical behavior.

I enjoy most crime/police/mystery series and I did enjoy this series for the most part. Talk about a collection of loonies , The only stable/normal people were Marshall,Raph and Peter. Just when you thought Mary or her mother or sister were stabilizing they would do something odd and irritating. I really liked the first three seasons, but it seemed to start unraveling in season four, Season five was a disaster and they would have been better off if Mary's father was never found. The sister was on the road to a decent life when she dive bombed into stupidity regarding her relationship with Peter.

I am a fan of Kris Marshall, having enjoyed his performance in Death in Paradise. I am trying to give this series a chance but so far- at the second episode- I am having a hard time understanding what they are saying. I can pick up about a third of the dialogue but have to guess at the rest. Looked forward to seeing this series but so far not that great. So I can only hope that it improves. Under the new rules I have to submit at least 600 characters! Six hundred! That seems a little excessive, but who am I to criticize this site, which at least allows people to voice their opinions-even if 100 or 200 characters might be enough to get their point across. So I hope I can at least state my opinion at the begiinng of this review so people can get a whiff of what I felt about this series which so far has only produced six episodes which maybe indicates that this is a trial effort to see what people think before the producers invest in a longer run of episodes. We shall have to be patient and await that decision.

Andy always has a boorish and obnoxious manner , but in this episode he takes it to a really low level. His attitude, after being responsible for a traffic death is really hard to take, Acting completely oblivious to his behavior, he plays the " you scratch my back,I'll scratch yours" attitude in order to escape blame for his crime. He attacks his associate for trying to find out out what really happened/ The people he uses to back up his claim of innocence are people of low character so it explains the type of people he buddies up with. Andy shows no regard for the person whose life he took and that is shameful.

Another failed Hallmark effort......... I have attempted to watch numerous Hallmark productions, always holding out hope that I might discover an entertaining effort. Nikki and Nora is another Hallmark production that I hoped I would enjoy. Sadly, it ended up being a rather boring film,filled with the usual amateur acting efforts and poorly written story. Mumbly speech and speed talking are apparently requirements to get a job at Hallmark film studio......one of the main characters...the lead detective in the case......is a perfect example of poor casting. The lad apparently has a minimal experience in the art of acting, providing us with an annoying and amateurish performance......Oh well, on to the next Hallmark film.

A typical Hallmark mystery...sometimes they are interesting but many time they are rather boring. This episode falls into the latter category. IIenjoy mysteries and have given these Hallmark efforts a chance, hoping I will come across a decent effort. Courtney, who appears to have had some facial surgery, has a tight face which usually has a smile/grin in place regardless of the situation. The acting of the supporting cast is mediocre and at times amateurish. As several other reviewers pointed out,there is a lack of realism in the situations..the students digging away at the archeological site with no hint of dirt.

I have been a fan of British films made in the 1940s though the 1960s--especially their comedies and world war two films. Terry-Thomas was one of my favorites from that era. He has appeared in films both in England and here in the USA. I remember seeing this film back in the 60s- it must have been on broadcast television. I have been trying to find a dvd copy of this film off and on for quite some time. Unfortunately I have had no success- even on Amazon UK site. If anyone knows where a dvd can be obtained I would appreciate having that information. I remember enjoying this film as I have always been a Terry Thomas fan...he made a movie I believe with Jack Lemmon that I enjoyed.

Midsomer has been going downhill the past few seasons
The introduction of DS Nelson was the final straw. The guy looks completely unprofessional...he needs a shave and some decent clothing for crying out loud !! He looks like he is on probation from an alcohol abuse center. Every time he comes on camera I am thrown off by his appearance.. Bye Bye Midsomer.

I enjoyed the previous installments of the series but this entry is ruined by the amateurish overacting of the supporting cast. A lot of "B" movies of this era depended on their success by the support of a capable supporting cast. The studios were full of recognizable B movie regulars...which is absent from this film.

In the opening segment, the young couple is dismissed from the house, the gentleman waving them off as if he never wants to see them again. The car goes careening down the road at a fast clip, gets out of control and ends in in a lake. The couple tries to escape by pushing up at the roof! Since the girl's window was OPEN , why didn't they escape through it ?? Just wondering. Otherwise I enjoyed the episode.

I found this series interesting for the most part-most of the acting was well done..But the lack of reality is annoying-everyone speaks English!!! And David McCullum parachutes from his plane wearing a dress uniform,complete with ribbons and decorations?? The prisoners in the camp were well dressed and no sign of wear and tear on their clothed or bodies.

In this episode the British are still running things with no mention of an uprising against the British. In the previous episode the American Revolution is over!! This happens regularly in this series, as if the writers can;t remember what they wrote last .. it gets confusing at times.

This is my first watch of a Canadian produced tv show. Unlike American and British shows where many of the supporting actors have been seen many times, the actors here are basically unknown. The most entertaining one is Rex the police detective dog. I found the show fairly entertaining and it got more interesting as it went along. BTW, not familiar with Canada, I was surprised at the high percentage of blacks present in the population. Learn something new every day.

I remember enjoying Barnaby Jones during it's original TV run, so when I had a chance to buy the first two seasons on DVD ,I did so. It was a horrible decision as the video quality on the DVDs is terrible, almost unwatchable-therefore I won't be purchasing any more--too bad.

Story plods along, although the scenery is nice. I enjoyed the lead actor in other series but I hadn't realized that half the population of southern France was black and they speak with a British accent!! Amazing LOL.

While most of the episodes are slow moving, I enjoy Patricia much more in this series than in Keeping Up Appearances, where her character got increasingly annoying. These type British series are far superior to the bland Hallmark Mysteries series with their model perfect casts and boring stories.

I remember Burns and Allen radio show when I was a young kid and listened to them on the radio. I got a dvd of this film and sort of enjoyed it, but the picture was so bad I got eye strain trying to watch. I haven't been able to locate a decent copy of this film, but what I was able to discern, I enjoyed.

Typical enjoyable Randolph Scott western I used to watch in theaters as a kid. Square jawed Randy always seems to wear nice clean clothes...straight out of the laundry. And he wanders all the countryside with a minimum of supplies tied behind his saddle. That aside, Scott was the likable hero in many popular westerns.

Captain Dolan has to be the worst police supervisor since Hunter's previous boss-who was also a whiny. Complaining piece of crap like Dolan. Dolan never gives Hunter and support when he needs it, or congratulations when Hunetr and Dee Dee do a good job. I would hate to work for a nasty boss like him/ Thankfully he will eventually be replaced by a more intelligent cop.

Whoever convinced Scott Caan to follow in his father James Caan's acting career should be taken behind a shed and given a spanking. His attempt at acting is terrible, his exaggerated gestures don't improve hid acting abilities and his short physical stature probably wouldn't pass minimum requirements for the police force -does he thinks he is Italian with all that hand waving? His guest appearance here from Hawaii Five-O is a waste of time- the only person shorter than him is Hetty.
