The Ruins (2008)
Worst movie I have ever seen
I thought this was the worst movie I have ever seen. It made all others great works of art. Watch the trailer and you have seen the movie. Not a thing scary about it. Reminded me completely of the book the Plants.
This movie could really kill a career, just for being associated with it. Those poor actors took a wrong turn here. They will be lucky to ever get a good part now.
Please don't waste your time. Don't pay money to see it, rent it or even watch it if someone pays you to do it. Run like the wind. And don't look back! The only scary thing about this movie is watching it. Sorry out there but that is the truth.
All This, and Heaven Too (1940)
Loved this movie!!!
I had to agree with other comments on the movie. The boy that played the son did have this awful southern accent but was supposed to be British. Other than that, It was a true classic. I thought that Bette Davis was just great. I also loved her in Dark Victory and Now Voyager. I would recomend this movie to every one.
Cold Creek Manor (2003)
Very predictable
I really looked forward to this movie, seeings it had so much hype. But it was all hype. The movie was disappointing. It was very predictable and I feel you should wait for the dvd. It is too bad that there aren't any 'new' movies that bypass the same old thing. Again, very disappointing.
Make a Wish (1971)
The best in Saturday TV
I always just loved this show and was sad when it was over. It should be on DVD to be enjoyed by my grandchildren. It was a unique way to look at words. I really made you think. There is so little in the way of 'human' Saturday morning TV, the we need shows like this to be on for the next generation.
Yours, Mine and Ours (1968)
Wonderful family movie
This is a wonderful family movie. It has a great story, which in fact, is true. It has great values that few movies today have. It shows a wonderful family dynamic and how close a mixed family can be. I recommend it for everyone.
Frogs (1972)
Sam Elliot at his lowest point!
I like Sam Elliot very much, but to see him in this movie, it had to be the lowest point in his career. It was just sad, and no one honestly believes that frogs are going to take over the world!!! I am so glad that he has risen above this horrible movie.
