Deadwood (2004–2006)
Great show to follow The Sopranos
4 May 2004
This show got me from the first episode. I don't know what it was, whether it was the characters, the actors great portrayals of the characters, the setting, or the fact that most of the storylines are a part of history. It seems like with each passing Sunday this show just keeps getting better and better. In my opinion there isn't really one character that I can't stand to see onscreen. Swearengen is an asshole, but he's one of those characters that you love to hate. Bullock is coming across as the "hero" of the show, but he has shown that he too has a dark side. Jane, while at first I didn't like her much, has grown on me, and Carradine's portrayal of Wild Bill is classic. He seems to have the mystique of Wild Bill down to a "T". HBO never ceases to amaze me with the quality of their shows, OZ, The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Curb Your Enthusiasim, and now Deadwood, I look forward to enjoying this show as much as I have the others on HBO.

Jason X (2001)
Good for one reason only
22 June 2002
Well this movie was pretty much a waste of time, although there was one funny part where Jason beat the hell out of two naked girls, i laughed at that, the only reason to watch this movie is for Lexa Doig, she is by far one of the hottest actresses out there, although she's not naked or anything in this movie, its still worth it to see her altogether.

An all around great film!
21 September 2001
What can I say, they've made another great Stephen King story into another great movie. Although it doesn't hurt to have the likes of Anthony Hopkins in your film to give it that stature and elegance. This film is one of those movies where you leave sad, but yet feeling good about everything, not many movies do this, some would include American Beauty and The Green Mile. The film is set in the backdrop of the 1960's where a strange man (Anthony Hopkins) moves into the apartment above a young boy and his mother. The boy quickly befriends the stranger and soon learns about the man's mysterious gift. I won't spoil anything for anyone because this is definitely a movie worth seeing and not knowing what happens before you go into it. Also I recommend reading the book, it is truly one of Stephen King's best.
