The space debris floating in space has "Cunningham Reality" written on the side. This is a reference to the name of producer Noel Cunningham, the son of executive producer and maker of the original Friday the 13th (1980), Sean S. Cunningham.

Goofs:

Continuity: When they crash the ship into the Solaris you see the back part of the ship slide over the Solaris' glass sphere. When it cuts half the ship is sliding over the sphere.

It delivers what one expects

OK, finally, here it is: Friday the 13th part 10. Just saw it at the Fantasy Filmfest. If you know some or all other parts of the Friday 13th movies, you know what to expect. And Jason X delivers: a high body count with some classic (the machete) and some creative killings (ever seen someone getting screwed?), nice looking chicks and, of course, an "unbeatable" Jason Voorhees. Some funny lines, a cool sergeant, and an interesting retro scene add up to this. The movie is set in the year 2455 aboard a space ship. It delivers what you expect from Jason, using elements from the Friday 13th series and movies like Alien, the Hellraiser movies or The Terminator. Although it's certainly one of the better Friday 13th movies, on an absolute scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 6.
