I saw this movie a couple of days ago. I have been waiting to rag on it for quite a while. First off, Im glad I borrowed this off a friend. Because I would never buy or rent this piece of garbage. Note to director- GORE DOES NOT EQUAL SUSPENSE. OK? So go back to film school and learn what suspense is. Go talk to John Carpenter he knows how to do suspense. Halloween was cheap! but it was still good at being suspensful.Man I just cant get over what a waste of time this movie was!

This movie was a joke!! It was so bad, I don't even know where to begin. My main gripe is with the blond actress, She was awful! I believe she is the worst actress I have ever seen in my life!! Oh gag! That whole sub-plot about her, getting her shining moment on tv, was stupid! I read another comment on here. They said it was a roller coaster ride, Yeah one that makes you wanna throw up.

I have seen Halloween a million times. I still think It is one of the best horror movies ever made. Even years later it still holds up. John Carpenter didnt need to use a lot of gore, to get the audience scared. Just subtle camera techniques, lighting, and music, was all that was needed. Through the years, there have been many imposter movies, Friday the 13th, and others. But to me, this is still the best. This is a must see for horror fans. This is the one that started it all!

I thought this movie was good. I really like how it was set in the 80's.Having grown up in the 80's myself. If you want to laugh a little just go out and rent this one. The plot was so, so. But sometimes I just get in the mood to watch something that isnt so serious. Watch this if you want to have some fun. The ending was cool too.
