Trivia:

The policeman seen during Godzilla's arrival is the same policeman (both played by same actor) seen suddenly leaving his patrol car in the middle of an intersection in Independence Day (1996).

Goofs:

Factual errors: The AH-64 Apache helicopter does not have a machine gun mounted on its "chin". The gun it carries is located underneath the cockpit. Also, the muzzle flash from the gun if mounted on the side would interfere with the pilot's and the gunner's night vision.

I thought it was great...

As opposed to most people, I thought this movie was excellent. You can't watch the movie and expect Shakespeare...it's Godzilla. You have to appreciate the work that went into making this creature look so lifelike. This movie had spectacular special effects and a pretty decent story line. I thought this movie was great. I didn't find the acting to be all that bad. I would recommend watching this movie before you come to any conclusions.
