The best action movie ever!
9 February 2006
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the best action movies ever made. Director James Cameron hits the right combination of action and emotion. He proves that there is still room in an action movie for some feeling. It expertly switches to hard boiled action movie, to making you feel about the characters.

The Terminator is both killing machine and father figure, the father John never had. He is always lit in a cold steely blue, which gives him a hard sculptured look. The sunglasses cover his eyes, giving him no emotion. He throws people out his way like rag dolls, they are helpless to stop him. Yet, he is helpful to John, his protector.

We really believe that the T-1000 is an unstoppable killing machine. He blends in like a chameleon, unlike the Terminators hulk. It seems that there is no way to stop him. He can change to the form of any person he kills. His outward appearance is that of a normal human being.

Sarah has become a hardened, prepared for the nightmare of the future. She is trapped in a mental institution for trying to blow up a computer factory, for the horrible truth only she believes. She is tortured to the point of appearing insane.

The cinematography contrasts a hard blue with an orange red, fire and ice. It sets the mood very well. There is blue light for danger and fear and red for love and family.

The music is like the Terminator's mechanical heartbeat, a pulsing rhythmic beat. It uses sampled strings and percussion. It also pauses for an emotional moment.

The movie is fast pace and pulse rising, but also dramatic and careful. One of the best, an action classic!

Star Trek: Voyager (1995–2001)

Last good Star Trek.
11 December 2003
People need to appreciate this show a lot more. After Voyager, Enterprise came out. We were in for a surprise. Enterprise is boring, uninteresting, and lacks exploration. Voyager has what Enterprise lacks, fun episodes with the best of what Trek offers, strange aliens and planets, and the Borg. The captain is strong willed and ready to fight for what's right, even if it means destroying the ship. The crew has a wide variety of people, with different views and ideas. Does Enterprise have this? No. It's extremely achronistic to the original series. Aliens are discovered before captain Kirk supposedly first discovered them. Maybe Gene's son who's supposed to take over can give us a better series? So stick with the last good series, when Trek was what it was supposed to be. Boldly go where no one has gone before.

Extremely Good, Insanely Short
8 November 2003
This show goes by like a gust of cool wind. It feels good, but before you know it, it's gone! I wonder what G. T. was thinking when he made this series so short? Each episode only 5 minutes long! You want more, a lot more. Besides the length, the style of the series is very lush, artistic animation. It has the epic feel of the movies, along with the humor that G. T. used in Samurai Jack. He uses almost cinematic shots with epic scores. The characters are interpreted nicely, with the essence of them intact.

Worlds longest movie series.

Some may not like the new Bond movie, but think about this: How many franchises have lasted this long and still have movies that aren't horrible? None! If you consider when the first movie was made, 1962, then you'll realize how good of a franchise it is.
