Not just ONE single good word
2 March 1999
This is such a bad movie, I never saw the end of it. The first "Lawnmower Man", based upon the story by: Stephen King (Which was later not true, nothing to do with the story he said). The first one was a regular good movie. I can't tell what this movie is about, because there is no storyline in this film. Don't rent this one, don't buy this one, only if you have more than enough money you don't use.

Cycle of the Werewolf
21 January 1999
It's a good movie based on the novel by: Stephen King. I think this is a good movie, but only to see it once.

In a peaceful town the peace is no longer of mutilated bodies. A handicapped boy thinks it is the work of a werewolf. IT'S NEVER WHO YOU THINK IT IS!

Not that great
20 January 1999
Some good facts you don't know are on this video, but if you are a horror freak, nothing's new here. Also this has got nothing to do with Stephen King. In this entire movie of 270 min. you may see him for about 15 min. Buy this only if you are a real horror fan and if you want to have anything that has got to do with any horror style.

Not a great movie.
6 January 1999
This is a terrible movie which has been written by: Stephen King. The novel was fine, but this is really terrible. This is a re-make from the earlier movie: Maximum Overdrive which was some better than this one. The style is the same as they did 20 years ago. Very oldy. (2/10)

The Shining (1997)
Take your medicine
6 January 1999
Great done, this is a great movie which is based on the book: The Shining by: Stephen King.

Stephen King's The Shining is very good, but i wouldn't say better than Stanley Kubrick's the Shining. The Shining by Stanley Kubrick is some shorter while the Shining from Stephen King is about 5 hours.

In the first Shining you could see the anger of Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) really good. But in the second Shining you see Jack Torrance (Steven Weber) as a real alcoholic, while you almost don't find out in the first one. I think that both movies are quite the same, only the new shining is some longer and maybe that's why more people like the first movie. I can't say.

Stephen King's the Shining:

Rebecca DeMornay (hand that rocks the craddle), Steven Weber (Leaving Las Vegas), Courtland Mead (Hellraiser IV: Bloodline), Melvin van Peebles (terminal velocity).

Stanley Kubrick's the Shining:

Shelley Duvall (portrait of a lady), Jack Nicholson (as good as it gets), Danny Lloyd (the autobiography of G. Gordon Liddy), Scatman Crothers (Transformers).

Something new
6 January 1999
This is such a good movie if you watch the acting style. But.....i couldn't say i liked the movie, it was too slow, and nothing new for me. It's something new for Julia Roberts maybe, (Very good actress)

The movie is based on the Horror Classic "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde". Unfortunately this movie was some too dark and soft. But i liked the drama in it.

Acting by:

Julia Roberts (Conspiracy Theory)

Final Chapter

Children of the Corn IV, already the fourth one. This wasn't the baddest one, Children of the Corn III was much worse. Children of the Corn I & II were thrillers while III, IV, V & VI are Horror movies. This part is played in Grand Island.

It has got some shock parts included, but the acting is really worse.

Naomi Watts (dangerous beauty), Brent Jennings (alone in the dark), Samaria Graham (nothing to lose).

If you want to escape in a prison, choose Shawshank.
6 January 1999
What a great movie, written by: Stephen King. Original title: Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption. This movie has got 7 oscar nominations, but didn't get 1. I don't know why, because this was one of the best movies in 1994.

It's about a man Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) who is guilty on a double murder of his wife and her boyfriend.

In this whole movie you find out about his life and if he's guilty or not. Great acting by Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins. (10/10)

Worse...
6 January 1999
Children of the Corn III. This movie is really worse, it has got nothing to do with the first 2. Also the acting is so bad that you feel you can do better yourself.

Part III is played in Chicago.

Daniel Cerny (demonic toys) Ron Melendez (perfect body) Nancy Grahn (santa barbara)

Hard Target (1993)
many guns for one person
6 January 1999
Very good movie with Jean Claude Van Damme in it. Beau.

A gangsta group is going after a couple of people who had been fighting in a war. Kind of hunt race. Mr. Bordeaux (Jean Claude Van Damme) want them to be killed. Good movie. Only so many guns for just one person, little bit of fantasy what always have been in Action movies.

They are back... to finish their deadly harvest
6 January 1999
Children of the Corn II, the second movie which was written by: Stephen King. You can see Children of the Corn I & II as one long movie. It just fits like one movie of three hours. Where I ends, II begin.

John Garret (Terence Knox) is a journalist, when he and his younger son Danny arrived in Gatlin, they found out that there are missing a couple of people, But more people are disappearing. Then they found out about the corn and what happened in Gatlin.

This movie was played in Gatlin, good acting by:

Terence Knox (tour of duty) Paul Scherrer (standoff) Christie Clark (Nightmare on elmstreet part 2)

God, Rebecca DeMornay as a real Bitch in this spectacular movie.

She's the new babysitter of a child. But of course not everything is about roses. She wants the baby, even if she has to murder.....

Great acting by:

Rebecca DeMornay (Stephen King's The Shining)

If you like special effects, don't see this one.

Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive has been written and directed by Stephen King himself. But i think he could better stay off this movie. It is very boring, nothing is happening here, just some cars which are moving. (3/10)

An adult nightmare, not just a nightmare...
6 January 1999
Children of the Corn, the first from the 6. This is the real one, the one which started the saga, written by: Stephen King.

Gatlin, Nebraska: After the church all the people went to a café, except the children, they weren't there. Then everyone got killed in this café by the children.

Three years later a young couple (Peter Horn, Linda Hamilton) arrived at Gatlin......
