Thoroughly enjoyable.

Frank and Lu are out on a wild goose chase, they are intrigued when a man approaches them with a gash on his head, and no memory. He is named as Alfred D'Angelo and traced to a Hotel.

Some real depth to this episode, I've noticed a shift in quality as the series has progressed. This is cleverly written, well crafted, and features some well rounded characters, each with depth and motive.

Patrick Baladi is always great value, and again he doesn't disappoint. Martina Laird is also very good.

I was impressed with the depth of writing and character, when you think you know what's going on, you're being driven up a blind alley, it's very well crafted. 8/10

Undercover Boss with a nasty twist

Warning: Spoilers
Patrick Baladi plays Alfred D'Angelo, the owner of a posh hotel. He's lost his memory and seeks Shakespeare and Hathaway's help to find his identity. There's a bitter twist when it's revealed Alfred attempted to engage in sexual blackmail of a hotel employee in one of the hotel rooms.

The Undercover Boss escapade led to the blackmail, and highlights the imbalance of boss-employee.

Tomos Eames appears again as DS Joe Keeler. His character is a bit one dimensional, but hopefully it can grow before too long.

In My Memory Lock'd

Frank and Lu are on on a stakeout but it turns out to be a wild goose chase.

They do come across an injured man who does not know who he is or where he comes from.

Frank and Lu investigate and find out that a local upmarket hotel holds a clue but no one recognised the picture of the amnesiac man.

It then turns out that the man was working in the hotel as a cleaner but in disguise. It later transpires that the man is called Alfred D'Angelo and he owns the hotel.

While Alfred contemplates what kind of man he might have been. Frank and Lu dig around to discover the precise reasons why Alfred went undercover and who is trying to kill him.

Inspired by Measure to Measure. This is another frothy fun episode with just a hint of darker undercurrents. As Alfred mentioned, it was all due to what kind of man he was.
