...will somebody please explain why two people who committed a murder in Canada are being tried for it in a federal courtroom in New York? Screenwriters are getting stupider and stupider. For one thing, regular old murder of a regular citizen is not a federal crime - unless it happens on federal property. And there's this little thing called jurisdiction. And another called extradition.
Right now I'm trying to decide which character is the absolute stupidest on this show. The least likable is definitely Portia (though I really like the actor). But it's pretty much a toss-up between EVERY OTHER character on the entire show as to who is the dumbest. Literally everybody on this show is a complete moron. Though it's not far from the truth that literally everyone in New York City is pretty dumb.
