This episode was good enough to be a season finale. The killer/victim suspense and roll reversal was clever. It's good to have more character development with the Red/Dembe relationship. Dembe leaving Red makes more sense than the reverse, but I didn't see it coming. After 6 seasons its hard for a show to continue to surprise, but this episode succeeded.

Warning: Spoilers
Red's face when Keen told him what she'd done. Some great acting from James Spader, restrained and all the sadder for being so.
Also absolutely accurate to call Keen entitled.
Just as I feared, she drove a wedge between Red and Dembe.
Love (not) how she then tells Ressler how wrong she was and how bad she feels for Dembe. Grrr.
Also, predictable story.

Ohhhh the moment he says "I'm not sure I'll ever believe you again." Damn, on fire this guy. I never in any tv series wanted to someone remain secret. This guy, this Raymond Redding, whoever he was, i don't care, i just want him to stay like that, A little fat, always on suit and a beautiful hat.

Warning: Spoilers
Reddington, one of filmdom's greatest characters, is also one of the loneliest. He lives his life with a set of beliefs that allow him to exact fear on all he meets. Elizabeth put Dembe between a rock and a hard place when she asked him to keep her secret. If one goes through the canon so far, one can see that Dembe had saved Red's skin over and over. Probably most responsible for getting him out of prison and away from the death chamber. This can be tossed aside because he made a promise to Elizabeth. The case this time is sort of ridiculous with a deranged woman freezing people with liquid nitrogen. But where are things going forward. What is Elizabeth's fate now that her betrayal has been discovered? Interesting.

Back then the KGB never assumed anything, those KGB Agents and or attached to the KGB Spetsnaz (U.S.S.R. Special Forces Hunter Killer Teams) at the U.S. would have to provide a literal piece of Katarina Rostova before claiming she is dead. The minimum would have been a sample of Katarina Rostova's blood.
The U.S. Law Enforcement, KGB, and everybody else already were creating, had created Computer Databases of Fingerprints. That would have been the easiest way to find out if Katarina Rostova was still alive back then, and whom the Imposter of Raymond Reddington actually was, is.
Everything that Katarina Rostova had done she would have reported to her KGB Bosses as documented as written reports. From this the KGB Analysts would have had a Profile of Katarina Rostova, if she did anything Worldwide like her previous Missions, the KGB Analysts would have sent alerts to their KGB Bosses.
