More silly fun, loved it.

I must admit I am thoroughly enjoying Ghosts, and this was more delightful silliness. Alison, who can now see every ghost, is almost driven off her rocker, as she is forced to listen to the hapless undead night and day.

Katie Wix was great fun once again, as she torments Alison by repeating 'get out,' but beat gag for me had to be the meeting with the Doctor, I thought that was great.

I hope people are tuning into it, because it really is so refreshing. 8/10

A lot of fun, except for hubby

It's a pity that they made Mike such an irritating, dim-witted "bloke". I know he's supposed to be the ignorant yet well-meaning foil/fool, but after two episodes I'm already finding him a significant distraction.

Avoiding possible spoilers, maybe if he eventually gets to "see more" himself he may turn out to be of more comedic value in the long run. There was some hope at the end of Episode 2, at least, when he started to come round to the whole idea.

Otherwise, there's a great deal of fun to be had in the excellent ensemble cast of disparate spooks from varying backgrounds and historical periods. I'll definitely stick with it - a keeeepurr, as Goldmember would say!

"She saw me"

Warning: Spoilers
Alison and Mike Cooper are of course mightily relieved, that she managed to survive her tragic accident.

However Alison didn't exactly escape entirely unscathed, on the surface she carried the physical effects.

The hospital doctors had tried to warn her, of the possible psychological effects.

But what could mere mortal quacks possibly have in the way of answers, for Alison back home in Button House?

Husband Mike Cooper happy to be doing something helpful for his poor dear wife Alison, had somewhat jumped the gun.

Mike had more than started the ball rolling with Button House, long overdue renovations.

(Singing) Daddy gonna fix the boiler

It's a small part, but I laughed so hard my stomach hurt when the plague ghosts we're trying to help Mike fix the boiler. "No daddy, you've got to..." or "just hit it with a hammer." Hilarious.

Breakthrough
Hitchcoc31 October 2021
As the couple goes into debt to fix up the mansion, the ghosts go to work. Alison is pushed out of a window and has a near death experience. Now she can see and hear the ghosts and this sets all kinds of stuff in motion. Fortunately, her husband is so dense, he sort of goes on with his life as she seemingly rants against the spirits. Good transitional episode.

Gorilla War

Warning: Spoilers
I just don't think Mike is well cast. He's not funny, you don't want to root for him, the character just lacks a lot of direction and it is hurting the show.

Gorilla War

It was a shame that one of the funniest scene of the episode was given away in the trailers.

Alison does consult a doctor about her visions and is told that her near death experience has left her seeing ghosts.

Back in the house the ghosts constantly pester her until Alison gives in and decides to talk to them.

Ghosts looks to have hit its stride by the end of this episode as the format takes shape.
