Cover up

The cover up is always worse than the crime, as they say. The relatively easy part in this documentary was unravelling a clear wrongful conviction and the police incompetence that caused it (dont they know about tunnel vision these days?). It is the subsequent attempts at a cover up that really are shocking. The police spend enormous resources trying to shut down any review of their incompetence and any efforts to right a wrong. Extraordinary and hugely concerning for all Australians (no, this is not just a provincial Tasmania thing). Well done to the documentary makers.

Kept me on the edge of my seat wondering where this would go

I didn't have any expectations for this documentary but this one got my attention in the first episode having not only the detailed investigation process but also interactions with a corrupt govt and Tasmanian police force trying to impede their investigation. It is a very open honest series discussing their achievements and problems every step of the way, filming everything they did, looking at the evidence carefully and intelligently then explaining the how and why. The appalling police stuff ups and cover ups that lead to members of their team being raided, witnesses arrested and lawmakers revealing vital information for the appeal process. I hope there will be some sort of follow up and I'm also surprised this series hasn't had more attention seeing it is a true crime and still ongoing. Well done to the team holding out under extreme pressure for justice. I hope there is a royal commission into the injustice going on in Tasmania, disgraceful!!

How do you put on a show like this when it hasn't ended. This is screwed! I feel I wasted 6 hours of my life to end up without an answer. With all the evidence proving she wasn't there she should be free. That meghan should be in jail for accessory to murder. This show just proves the corruption of police everywhere. How do you trust the police when they do things like this? Sad story. Set this woman free! Thanks imdb for NOT allowing me to say how I honestly feel. MORE CENSORSHIP!

No ending. No answers. No justice. Incomplete.

The spoiler alert is this: There is NOTHING TO SPOIL because there is no ending. You will be watching the credits roll on the last episode saying to yourself, "What? That's it? That's how they ended this thing?" There is no conclusion. You will not find out if justice is served. You will be left frustrated and unfulfilled and wishing you had not wasted your time watching all six episodes only to be left hanging. Years spent investigating and they end the documentary and release it to the unsuspecting public while the case is still waiting for appeal?? It's like watching a halfway decent movie and the finale is cut out. Or reading a great book whose last pages are missing. Ticked me off enough that I am writing my very first review.

Drawn out with lots of repeated information.

I found this to be unnecessarily lengthy with lots of repeated information and drawn out dialogue. It would have been better if there were fewer episodes. This made the series boring and I am sorry that I wasted my time. Good luck to those trying to correct this injustice.
