I think the other reviewer is being way to kind

I don't think there is a single shot that isn't a shaky close up, and I mean really close, if there is I don't remember it, a bit like the plot, Its just so distracting you lose focus on what's going on, I'm sure the director must think grainy closeups are "arty" but its just ruined the movie.

Strange, interesting, difficult

I admire the fact that Knucks is boldly unusual, and I wanted to like it but I found it hard to watch and harder to understand. Shaky camera as if we're supposed to be aware of the filming, or as if the audience is a character, maybe watching from the other side, a former character now a ghost. The long scenes compelled me to fast forward a bit, especially the shaky too-close shots. Overall interesting but a hot mess. This is one that may be worth analyzing if you're a film student but I don't recommend it for an enjoyable watch.

Whatever the cameraman or director was trying to do ruined the film no idea what was going on in the film and was giving me a headache literally and eventually got switched after 20 mins.

Save yourself an hour and six minutes

Don't waste your time on this one. An absolute shambles as I had no idea what was going on and I quickly lost focus. There were abrupt cuts, unappealing sounds, constant close-up shots. The cinematographer should get checked for arthritis. The choice of changing to black & white edits halfway through a scene was unnatural and did not work well at all. And not to mention the ridiculous flashing white stills that almost gave me a seizure. Try watching the first 4 minutes without wandering off because you might actually like this film. Fair enough if this was the work of a student trying to experiment on their work. But for anything besides that, this was appalling. Sad to say that this is my first film on IMDB that I am rating a 1/10.

I sat through 32 minutes

And that was 32 minutes far too long...

The first few minutes were enough to verify that the rest was going to be just as bad.

This was crap on all levels. It's not artsy. It's just crap. There's a difference.

Artsy still has something to it and this doesn't.

Can't say anything was good about this movie/film/art - whatever you think you should call it.

It's equally as bad as many multimillion dollar fiascos that Hollywood pumps out regularly like a bowel movement. So, I'm not singling you out for being dreadful - because you are now talented enough to waste 200 million dollars on a serious mishap and call it a movie. That's your new found ability.

Welcome to 2020 and beyond - where everything has turned to trash, chaos, confusion or is just downright depressing to experience in all methods.

Somebody rated this a 5 - and they were more than gracious...

Even rating this a 1 is still very gracious.

Do yourself a favour and stick to popping soap bubbles. You might have a career in it; because you don't have a career in film.
