Gosh darn it!!

This episode is not only a good episode but its easily one of my favorite episodes in the series! The mystery of Della duck was/is really good. Now it's revealed and I love it.

Spoilers ahead!

At the end of the episode revealing the secret colony, and that they had gold so Della could power the ship was a bit out of nowhere but I later accepted. The reason I gave this 10 stars is because of that song that Della sang for the monster's kid actually made me cry! Now that is good!

Old DuckTales fan got a new favorite character

So. We finally meet Della Duck. The writers really treated this character with a lot of respect and thought. For almost 100 years Duck fans have wondered whatever happened to Donald's sister! Why are the triplets raised by their uncle? Where's Della?

I'm a fan of The original DuckTales from the 80s but I just realized how much the old show lacked in female characters.

And now we got not only the kickass Webby and her former spy grandma but also Della. She's optimistic, adventurous and will stop at nothing to get back to her boys. She even lost her leg and build a new one out of metal scraps, inspiring and empowering amputees all over the world. Such a moving and powerful episode.

When the "moon stage" theme from the video game started to play I just lost it. I wasn't expecting to cry watching an episode of DuckTales! Clever and wholesome and well put together. Ten stars!
